CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1916: Chapter 1924: Lesson Learned

”If it weren’t for feeling that the person behind me was too light and being on campus, I would have used all my strength to throw you down. With that small frame of yours, one move would break your waist.”

James Black patted Jane Sampson’s back of the head, ”In the afternoon, did it hurt?”

”It hurt.” Jane nodded, ”It hurt a lot.”

”Will you dare next time?” James knew that pain was inevitable, but he couldn’t be sure if Jane was injured.

Although, from the internet realm’s messages, Jane hadn’t been unexpectedly hospitalized, and she was still filming in the afternoon and evening. But Jane was not someone who would easily admit to pain or allow herself to burden others, so James worried she was just toughing it out.

”I won’t dare anymore.” Jane’s voice was muffled.

”Admit wrongdoing positively, never repent, how many times is this? Hmm?” James asked.

Jane shook her head.

”I really won’t dare anymore.” When James threw her to the ground level, she was truly in pain to the point of being unconscious for more than a minute, everything went black.

This time Jane was truly thrown memorably.

”You like me to carry you, in the house, you can jump whenever you want, but outside the door, be honest.” James patted the space beside him, ”Lie down properly, let me check if you’re hurt.”

”Check? Check where?” Jane stammered.

”Wherever you were hurt, that’s where I’ll check.” James urged, ”Hurry and lie down.”

”I... I...” Jane stammered, ”I hurt my bottom...”

After speaking, she quickly retreated from James’s arms and directly burrowed into the quilt, refusing to come out, ”I’m not injured, it’s fine, in the afternoon I was fine, I even continued filming.”

James stared at Jane’s face unwaveringly and opened mouth to say two words, ”Lie down.”

Jane moved towards the other side of the bed, shaking her head, ”No, I checked, it’s fine, really fine.”

”You checked yourself? How did you check?” James reached out and pulled Jane back from nearly falling off the edge.

”Is there any part of your body I haven’t seen?” James chuckled helplessly, ”Shy? Hmm?”

”It’s not the same!” Jane gritted her teeth, ”That... that... that kind of time, how can it be the same as now? No! I’m not a little child, don’t I know if I’m hurt or not?”

”Then just treat it as that kind of time.” James exerted a bit of force on his wrist, directly pinning down the one who still wanted to run, and flipped Jane over.

Without saying much, he lifted her PJ and directly pulled her underpants.

There wasn’t much thought; he just wanted to confirm whether she was hurt.

In that situation, even though he had restrained himself, he still couldn’t be sure she wasn’t injured.

James carefully looked, immediately spotting a slightly obvious bluish mark. He sighed, then felt along her spine, retracting his hand after tidying up for her, turning over the person who had acted like a corpse with a blushing face.

”Just consider it a lesson learned.” He was heartbroken, but there was nothing he could do, James could only console himself this way.

Jane snorted at him, quickly moved back to that side again.

Unexpectedly, it made it easier for James, who directly lay down in the spot she vacated.

Jane looked at James’s maneuver, utterly stunned.

Originally, she intended to sulk with him, but how did it turn into her making space for him?
