CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1747: Chapter 1755: Because She Is Kind

”Jane Sampson, do you know, these past few days, I’ve been thinking, if when I returned to the Sampton Family back then, I hadn’t been so filled with resentment and dissatisfaction, hadn’t been so jealous of how excellent you were, if, returning to the Sampton Family, I could have gotten along well with you, treated you either as a hard-to-come-by sister or a younger sister, then how would things be now for you, and for now?”

Julie Sampson’s voice choked a bit at this point, ”You should have been happier, right? And I, I should have been happier too. If that were the case, my life wouldn’t have been full of calculation and confrontation at every turn, perhaps, I could have lived a bit more easily too.”

”I always envied you for taking everything that was supposed to be mine, so I wanted to take it back little by little, the love of dad and mom, the attention of the grandparents, I did whatever I could to snatch away what originally should have been mine, I always thought, I wasn’t wrong, you were, I even always thought, you were like a flower in a greenhouse, ignorant of the world, easily suppressed by me without turning over, at my mercy.”

”I thought I was the smartest one in the Sampton Family because, from when I was sensible, I knew how to win the sympathy of others, how to put myself in a favorable position, but looking back now, it’s indeed quite laughable, in the entire Sampton Family, where are the clever people?” Julie Sampson laughed wryly, ”If there is one, it’s only you, you’re the one who was the smartest and clearest from beginning to end, Jane Sampson, I’m very sorry, because of me, you haven’t been happy all these years.”

Julie Sampson held Bright Sampton’s mobile phone, tears slowly falling, ”That day, in the surgery room, I seemed to see the doctor shaking his head, walking a trip away from life and death, I realized, what I have been pursuing, what I have been obsessed with, was so ridiculous, I became clear too late, that’s why I ended up like this, it’s my own doing, I can’t blame anyone.”

Jane Sampson had always remained silent, she never thought, in her lifetime, she would hear an apology from Julie Sampson, receive a word of sorry from Julie Sampson.

Even though she kept telling herself she didn’t care much, this late apology still made her unable to hold back tears.

”Also, Jane Sampson, thank you, you really are the kindest, kindest person I’ve ever met.” Julie Sampson sobbed softly, ”Actually, since you had Bright call the police for me, I knew your intention, and thank you for persuading Bright for me, thank you for still being willing to help arrange all these things.”

Julie Sampson was very clear inside, that she could smoothly receive this 80 million, it was actually all because of Jane Sampson’s help.

Otherwise, with the state she was in during her breakdown at the hospital, she wouldn’t have thought of so much all at once, and her mom had always been a simple-minded person, relying on her mom alone, there was no way she could have had the conviction to say she’ll leave today, the conviction to say she’ll start her life anew.

”The first time I thought you were kind was when that Amber Edwards incident happened, at that time, I thought you were so foolish, even thinking, if you were a bit kinder, a bit sillier, it would be good, I could use that.” Julie Sampson said, ”And today, I finally understand, why so many people like you, why everyone inside the great courtyard likes to be with you, why clearly I am dad and mom’s biological daughter, yet the Black Family and all the playmates in the great courtyard, only like you.”

Because she is kind.
