CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 939: Chapter 947: Meeting Gift

Was she here to annoy herself or to bother Jane Sampson on the set?

”Sister Jane, are you alright?” Mona Calm noticed that Jane Sampson’s expression was not very pleasant and asked her with some concern.

Jane Sampson’s and Amber Edwards’ feud was almost known by the entire nation, and Mona Calm was also surprised that Amber Edwards came to the set.

Later, she also felt some envy; the capriciousness of some wealthy people was beyond what an ordinary person like her could aspire to. The third female role, to be changed just like that, Amber Edwards said one sentence and took away the third female role, while she, an ordinary person, didn’t know how long she would have to struggle to land such a role.

”What could be wrong with me?” Jane Sampson replied after regaining her composure, shaking her head, ”I was just disgusted for a moment.”

But Amber Edwards had money, and what she wanted to do was up to her freedom.

Amber Edwards had clearly noticed Jane Sampson standing there too; she walked over to the film crew members with her two assistants and then greeted everyone with a beaming smile.

”Hello everyone, I’m Amber Edwards, please take good care of me in the future,” Amber Edwards said.

At this point, Amber Edwards turned her head to the assistant next to her and extended her hand, then said, ”This is a meeting gift I prepared for the sisters in the crew, everyone gets one! I’ll have my assistant hand them out to you.”

The female supporting role closest to Amber Edwards was the first to receive the meeting gift handed out by Amber Edwards’ assistant, and she exclaimed in surprise, ”It’s No. 13 lipstick from ES brand! This color looks super nice, but it’s super hard to find! Oh my god, Miss Edwards, did you prepare this lipstick as the meeting gift for everyone?”

”Yes,” Amber Edwards nodded, ”I’m glad you like it. This lipstick is indeed hard to find, but who am I? There’s nothing I can’t buy.”

Having said that, Amber Edwards looked over at Jane Sampson and repeated, ”Every sister in the cast gets one, except for...”

Amber Edwards didn’t finish her sentence, she just glanced at Jane Sampson with her eyes, and obviously, anyone who wasn’t blind knew that the exception she was talking about was Jane Sampson.

Amber Edwards had prepared this meeting gift for all the females in the crew, regardless of age or position, except for Jane Sampson.

By doing so, she made it clear to everyone that she and Jane Sampson had a fight, a feud not shared under the same sky.

Coco Edwards walked out from behind Amber Edwards after getting an access card from the crew, and sarcastically said, ”Really? Why do I remember that my little Jane’s hairpin was coveted by someone so desperately, huh? Miss Edwards, did you manage to buy that hairpin?”

Having said that, Coco Edwards strode past Amber Edwards and went straight to Jane Sampson and then said, ”Little Jane, keep your things safe. A bandit has come to the set, don’t let people covet your good stuff again.”

Coco Edwards, as an assistant, wasn’t afraid of being captured on camera berating Amber Edwards, after all, she neither associated nor filmed with Amber Edwards, unlike Jane Sampson, who had to play nice sometimes for the sake of harmony on the set.

Jane Sampson nodded repeatedly as if she was very obedient and then said, ”I’ll listen to you.”

Actually, Jane Sampson was almost laughing to collapse inside.

When Coco Edwards berated someone, she really didn’t hold back, each word sharp and precise.
