CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 901: Chapter 909 Amber Edwards Apologized

Having said that, Noah Edwards made an internal call to the company and summoned the manager of the Public Relations Department to discuss Amber Edwards’s apology.

As the daughter of the Chairman of Francis Group, Amber Edwards’s actions and words largely represented Francis Group.

The first thing Jane Sampson did after waking up from her nap was to grab an ice popsicle from the refrigerator. After finishing it, she started searching the fridge for James Black’s tea leaves because she and Peter Gingery had agreed to make tea eggs in the afternoon.

Jane Sampson didn’t care how expensive the tea leaves in James Black’s fridge were; after all, he had told her before that she could use any of the tea leaves in the fridge.

She found a box of tea leaves that James Black had recently opened in the freezer compartment, took it out, tossed the empty popsicle bag into the trash can, and began boiling water to make tea eggs.

Peter Gingery had said that the tea eggs she made were tender, and naturally, Jane Sampson had her secrets.

Jane Sampson stayed in the kitchen just until the eggs floated to the top, then she turned off the heat and left the kitchen.

It was still early, not yet time to cook dinner, so Jane thought about playing a couple of rounds of her game. However, as soon as she picked up her mobile phone and before she logged into the game, she saw a new message from Nina Rice.

Amber Edwards recorded a short video apologizing to you. Go check it out on Twitter quickly. — Mickey Mouse Eats No Rice.

Upon seeing this message from Nina Rice, Jane Sampson no longer had games on her mind.

Without hesitation, she logged onto Twitter and immediately saw countless new message notifications. Alexander Forest had specifically retweeted the apology video and tagged her.

The video was posted from Amber Edwards’s own Twitter account, and her Twitter verification information was proudly displayed as the heiress to Francis Group.

Seeing this verification information, Jane Sampson couldn’t help but admire Amber Edwards’s boldness.

Opening the video, Jane guessed from the background that it must have been recorded in an office. In the video, Amber was wearing a deep blue dress with curves in all the right places, and wore makeup.

With little expression on her face, Amber spoke in a tone that was not very loud, offering a solemn apology for her actions yesterday directly to Jane Sampson, and went on to say that she would definitely try to improve her temper and personality in the future. She hoped the vast number of netizens would forgive her this one time and not associate her personal mistake with Francis Group. She also expressed hope that Miss. Sampson would forgive her this one time.

Underneath the video on Twitter, many netizens were tagging Jane Sampson personally, asking whether she forgave Amber Edwards and urging Jane to make a statement.

After watching the video, Jane had no intention of responding.

After thinking for a moment, she took her phone and snapped a picture of the beautiful blue sky, then posted it.

The weather today is really strange.

— Jane Sampson.

After posting, Jane logged out of Twitter and returned to WhatsApp.

I’ve seen it. Honestly, I felt pretty good seeing that video, but I’m not planning to engage with her. — James Black’s wife

[Smile][Smile] — James Black’s wife.

Do you know why Amber Edwards would make a video apologizing to you? — Mickey Mouse Eats No Rice.

From your tone, it seems like you know. — James Black’s wife.

Jane Sampson had guessed right; Nina Rice indeed knew the scoop.

Before, one of Nina’s colleagues, who is now the Legal Counsel at the Capital Province branch office of Francis, knew the inside story. Since they were close, and knowing that Nina and Jane Sampson were best friends, the colleague mentioned it to Nina.
