CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 929: Chapter 937: Buying Out the Stock

Jane Sampson deftly took out her mobile phone and snapped several photos of James Black’s left hand from different angles. She then placed her own hand next to his and took two comparison shots.

After photographing James’s left hand, she moved to his right side and continued to take comparison photos of his right hand and her fair, tender arm.

Once she had finished taking photos, Jane even showed them to the doctor and exclaimed, ”Look, the contrast is quite striking, isn’t it?”

The doctor had merely made a joke just now and hadn’t expected Jane to actually take the photos. Hearing her words, he couldn’t help but laugh, ”You’re really not afraid of him giving you a hard time.”

Jane shook her head with a look of pride, ”He wouldn’t dare.”

Leaving the doctor’s office, James took Jane to pick up some medicine, and then the two of them left the hospital.

It was very late, so the two went to a nearby private restaurant with private rooms to eat. While waiting for the vegetables, Jane went on twitter.

The tweet she had posted about the body lotion the night before last surprisingly received over 100,000 comments.

Only after clicking into it did she learn that many had rushed out to buy the lotion after her tweet, and those who purchased it couldn’t wait to try it out, then left comments under her tweet sharing their personal experiences.

Then, a group of girls started chatting about the body lotion directly under her twitter post.

The body lotion recommended by Jane was affordably priced, from an international organic brand, with a regular-size bottle costing just under 200. Although not large, one bottle was typically enough for two to three months of use. Many people under her twitter post were praising Jane for her genuine recommendation.

However, the difficulty in purchasing was real, as there weren’t many cities in the domestic market that had a specialty counter for this brand.

Netizen: ”I saw Goddess Sampson’s recommendation the night before last, and since our city happened to have this brand’s specialty counter, I went early in the morning yesterday to buy it. The first thing I did after getting home was take a bath and use it, and the effect was truly stunning—moisturizing, well-absorbed, not greasy, not slippery, and the fragrance is just divine. It smells great without being overpowering. I heard this brand also produces perfumes, but all their perfumes are limited edition, and each bottle starts at a five-digit price, plus they aren’t sold domestically.”

Netizen: ”Damn! I went after work last night and asked at the counter, only to find out that today, for some reason, a lot of people went to buy this body lotion, and it was sold out! Did you all have to act so quickly?”

Netizen: ”Are you talking about me being fast? [Picture] I bought so much because I guessed it would sell out, so I cleverly stocked up ahead of time, hahaha, giving a ’like’ to my smart self.”

Jane burst into laughter when she read this, alarmed at her fans’ impressive purchasing power.

However, after she finished laughing and saw the many comments asking for resales and shares from that netizen, she could no longer laugh.

If everyone bought out the entire stock at the specialty counter, what would she do when she ran out and couldn’t buy more?

”After we finish eating, let’s go to the shopping mall and take a stroll,” Jane said, looking up at James. ”I need to buy a few more bottles of body lotion just in case. I’m afraid if I wait a few days, it might be difficult to find later.”

In Capital Province, there was only one shopping mall with a counter for this brand.

”Body lotion?” James’s eyebrows lifted almost imperceptibly as he readily agreed, ”Sure.” His tone carried a hint of great pleasure.
