CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 927: Chapter 935 Nonsense

Jane Sampson was still brushing her teeth when James Black walked in. The good thing about a buzz cut is that you don’t need to worry about hairstyling.

Every day, he just needs to brush his teeth, wash his face, and then he’s the handsome James Black again.

Unlike her, after one sleep, her hair is as messy as a bird nest on her forehead.

After James entered, he glanced at Jane Sampson and then began to wash up next to her. After Jane washed her face and waited a while for him, she started to speak, ”Did you drink too much last night? Your hand still hasn’t healed, how could you drink alcohol? Who drank with you last night? I’m going to beat him up.”

”There were so many people last night, the one who was drunk was you,” James snorted, ”I didn’t touch a drop.”

Which childhood friend would joke about his body?

Thomas Lancaster accompanied him yesterday without a single drop.

”Me?” Jane had a confused look on her face.

Seeing her like that, James knew that she probably didn’t remember anything about last night.

But what of it?

James wrapped his arms around Jane Sampson’s shoulders and pinned her against the wall, his voice low and deep as he asked, ”Do you remember what you said before sleep last night?”

”What did I say?” Jane Sampson could hardly remember how she returned home, only that she seemed to have encountered her auntie and acted coy to get a hug, and then it all became blurry.

”Really can’t remember?” James saw Jane shaking her head, not seeing any sign of her lying, before he lowered his body and in a low voice by her ear, said, ”You said when you wake up this morning, you want to kiss me.”

After James finished speaking, he moved his lips away from her ear and straightened up, ”I agreed, and I always keep my word, now, give me a kiss, and after kissing, go change your clothes, we need to hurry and leave.”

???

!!!!

Jane Sampson looked bewildered, ”You’re not making this up, are you?”

”What do you think?” James asked back, then touched his finger to his lips and urged, ”Hurry up and kiss, after that, we need to leave.”

Jane Sampson was shocked, what was she thinking last night to dig such a big hole for herself?

Seeing the guy’s eyes brimming with laughter, he must be very happy, right?

”Hurry up.” This was the third time James was urging her.

Jane Sampson’s gaze flitted around, calculating the chances of escaping, but then she thought about what he just said, finish kissing then change clothes and leave, meaning, no kiss, no leaving?

Childish!

Jane cursed inwardly.

”Then bend down, you’re too tall, I can’t reach!” Jane huffed.

But several minutes after she finished speaking, James still didn’t move an inch, standing rigidly in place, which made Jane burst into laughter, ”You...”

”If you can’t reach, you can stand on tiptoe,” James raised his eyebrows.

Biting her lip, Jane glared at James, then suddenly reached out, grabbed the collar of his pajamas and pulled him towards her, thinking this move would surely work. However, he didn’t budge an inch.

Was he really going to make her stand on tiptoes to kiss him?

”You, this person!” Jane let go of James’s collar, annoyed.

Such a proud tsundere!

Having no other choice, Jane stood on her tiptoes, puckered her lips, and brushed them against his, but before she could move away, his hands encircled her waist. He gently bit her lip and then parted her lips, turning what was meant to be a light peck into an endless, lingering kiss.
