CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 878: Chapter 886 Twitter Explanation

Jane Sampson was utterly choked by James Black’s statement, freezing for two seconds, scratching the back of her head, and then her cheeks.

Is this guy’s temper getting worse?

”Two or three months will fly by, huh?” Jane Sampson counted on her fingers as she explained to James Black. ”One month is thirty days, two months are sixty days, and three months are just ninety days. You see, I’m not saying I won’t return for three months, I’m just arranging all my return times together. Look, normally we see each other every thirty days. For instance, if I come back in the middle, that makes it forty-five days. We’ll see each other for two or three days every forty-five days, which, if you think about it, is even better than once every thirty days, isn’t it?”

After finishing, Jane Sampson waited for James Black’s response.

But this man, as if he hadn’t heard her, acted as though deaf, ignoring her utterly.

Jane Sampson waited for several minutes, enough for the news to turn to commercials, and James Black was still seriously watching the advertisements.

Grinding her teeth, Jane Sampson reached out and pulled James Black’s face toward her, then smacked a kiss on his lips, completing what he had initiated earlier.

”If you don’t speak, I’ll take it as your tacit agreement,” Jane Sampson said through clenched teeth, finally showing some tough spirit.

James Black clicked his tongue, abruptly pulling Jane into his arms and sitting her on his thigh to almost meet his gaze. ”Jane Sampson, I’ve realized I’ve been spoiling you too much recently,” James Black pressed with a serious gaze. ”About that thing on Twitter, you haven’t clarified it for me yet. I’ve been waiting all night for an explanation. If you want to discuss something else, fine, but first, you need to resolve the matter with Twitter!”

Jane Sampson was definitely someone who took an inch and sought a mile and was adept at setting up a whole dyeing workshop with just three colors.

Half a year ago, a single look from James Black and Jane Sampson would have reconsidered her words several times before speaking.

Now she dared to twist his face and talk back to him.

She was betting that he couldn’t bear to be harsh on her, convinced that he couldn’t bring himself to really reprimand her.

”The thing on Twitter?” Jane Sampson looked utterly confused, then struggled a bit in James Black’s arms and took out her mobile phone from her pocket to check Twitter.

Jane Sampson thought, having been with the guard team for so long, that Kane Forest must have taken care of it, so she immediately went on Twitter to check.

Sure enough, Kane Forest had set up a new verified Twitter account and posted a clarifying message.

Jane Sampson read each word aloud for James Black to hear.

”Miss Sampson and I are friends, the photo was taken accidentally at a charity dinner. Additionally, both our seniors are old acquaintances, and there’s no truth in reports suggesting I introduced Miss Sampson to my parents or discussed marriage plans. Miss Sampson has been confirmed as one of the spokespersons for Forest Clan’s new product not by my doing but by a consensus among various departments of the company based on her meeting our product positioning and requirements. Forest Clan Group, along with me, will pursue legal responsibility against those leaking crucial business information, as well as against any media and individuals spreading false information related to me, Forest Clan Group and Miss Sampson.”

After reading, Jane Sampson snapped her fingers, turned her head towards James Black, shrugged, and said, ”So, is the issue resolved now? What else needs explaining? Didn’t Kane already clarify everything on Weibo?”
