CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 852: Chapter 860 I Will Handle It

James Black thought about it, his voice deepened before he said, ”I am aware of this issue, and I will handle it.”

His wife was not someone who could be bullied by others.

After hanging up the phone, Rock Bell felt very relieved, waiting for the good news from James Black.

As long as James was willing to make a move, getting the role for Jane Sampson, even if it was predestined for her, wouldn’t be a problem.

It’s just that James had said before that he and the Black Family would not provide any convenience or help to Jane Sampson, so Rock Bell had always been letting Jane progress step by step on her own.

Meanwhile, downstairs, Jane Sampson, completely oblivious to the ”solution” Rock Bell referred to as dumping the issue on James, was being dragged by Coco Edwards toward the back door of the company to leave.

As soon as the two went downstairs, someone mentioned that there were quite a few reporters at the company’s entrance. Although no one knew that Jane Sampson would be at the company today and these reporters were not targeting her but the company’s top actress for a major scoop, if Jane just carelessly walked out at this time, she would naturally be swarmed by them.

”I’ve already asked the driver to bring the car around to the back door; let’s go there,” Coco said while pulling Jane toward the back door.

While they were walking, a security guard from the back door suddenly ran over and called out to Jane.

Then he said, ”Miss Sampson, a couple has arrived at the back door, claiming to be your mom and dad, saying they have important matters to discuss with you.”

”Little Jane’s dad and mom?” Coco, upon hearing this, froze in place, then turned her head to look at Jane.

Coco might have seen a very clear look of astonishment in Jane’s eyes, and her initial reaction was one of shock, which was then replaced by an ecstatic joy.

Jane let go of Coco and nearly sprinted toward the back door.

In her entire life, she probably had never moved with such speed as she did today.

Coco couldn’t catch up instantaneously; she could only call out to Jane while turning her head to ask the security guard, ”The couple you mentioned just now, what’s your impression of them?”

”Based on my years of experience in this job, I’d say this couple is no good,” the security guard uncle shook his head and sighed, ”They don’t look like good people. At first, I thought they were scammers.”

Upon hearing what Uncle Security Guard said, Coco grew anxious and immediately picked up her pace to chase after her.

Jane was very fast, like a gust of wind, running all the way to the back door.

As she reached the back door, from a distance she saw a plainly dressed couple standing at the doorway, looking forward eagerly, and Jane’s heart began to pound vigorously.

The couple was standing at the gate entrance, and Jane’s heart pounded violently.

Dad and mom?

Had her dad and mom seen her on TV? Recognized her?

Jane rushed to the main gate, not even having time to catch her breath, opened her mouth to speak, but, the next second, after seeing the people clearly, Jane’s entire face instantly turned cold.

”What are you doing here?” Jane asked, separated by an automatically locked iron gate from the couple outside, her expression stern.

Another security guard, Brother Security Guard, came over and quietly asked Jane, ”Miss Sampson, are these your parents?”

”No,” Jane said coldly, ”I have nothing to do with them.”

”Hey! How can you say we have nothing to do with each other?” Andrew Chip from outside grew unhappy upon hearing Jane say that, ”We’ve met before, how can we have no relation?”

”The number of people I see every day is countless; just because we’ve met means we have a relationship?” Jane let out a scoff with a cold laugh.
