CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 660: Chapter 668: That Won’t Work Either

She had wondered why James Black was so kind to let her go last night, only to find out that early this morning, he was here waiting for her!

”I still have to go out today!”

”I won’t stop you from being able to get around,” James Black responded.

”That’s not good enough!”

”Hey! You can’t kiss my neck! Last time the makeup artist saw the mark you left when she was doing my makeup. It was so embarrassing!”

”You can’t kiss the back either! It’s summer, and I have to wear a formal dress in a few days! No kissing, no kissing!”

”Ahh...”

Before long, every word Jane Sampson had said was thoroughly sealed by James Black without sparing a single one.

A noisy person is always noisy at any time.

James Black thought that at this time, his young wife was cuter when quiet.

It was supposed to be a rest day, with Jane waking up just after seven o’clock, but by the time she got out of bed again, it was already past nine o’clock.

When she got out of bed, Jane was clutching her sore back.

She grumbled to herself, thinking it would have been better to be dragged downstairs for an early morning run by this turtle egg!

”Go get ready, I’ll drive you there,” James Black patted Jane’s head, ”You can rest in the car.”

”Oh.” Jane’s face was all smiles, but inside she was cursing.

She didn’t want to drive; she could have taken the express train by herself. What did she need this guy for?

After a quick bath, Jane changed clothes and redid her light makeup. Coming out of the cloakroom, she had swapped her pajamas for a white letter T-shirt that was long and a pair of denim shorts, and she put on a crossbody purse as well.

”James Black, I just need to change my shoes,” Jane called out from the doorway to James Black, who had been in the kitchen doing who knows what for quite some time.

”Mm,” came a reply from the kitchen. After a few more seconds, he walked out, picking up the car key from the tea table as he passed through the living room and then glanced over at Jane standing in the doorway.

Just one look, and James Black’s eyebrows furrowed, ”Have you changed clothes?”

”Changed them,” Jane nodded, about to bend down to put on her flat white shoes when James Black walked over and picked her up from her semi-bent position.

”You’re going out without wearing pants?” He carried her by the strap of her backpack all the way back to the bedroom, ”Go put on some pants!”

Jane was dumbfounded.

She lifted the hem of her long T-shirt and kicked her leg in James Black’s direction, ”I’m wearing them! Look at my pants!”

”Change,” James Black said coldly. ”If you don’t, you’re not going out today.”

”...” Jane sighed inwardly. This guy should not have taken a vacation.

Everything was fine. What vacation was there to take?

This early in the morning, they hadn’t even left the house, and he was already dictating the length of her pants.

Jane stood there, staring at James Black for a few seconds before resignedly returning to the cloakroom to find a pair of capri jeans to put on. When she came out, she tucked a corner of the long T-shirt into her waist, making herself look even more playful and childlike.

”Is it okay now?” Jane deliberately twirled around twice in front of James Black.

James Black actually took a serious look, nodded his head, and with satisfaction, complimented her, ”It looks pretty good.”

James Black’s praise was heartfelt; however, it seemed that Jane wasn’t fond of it, as she rolled her eyes at him.
