CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 651: Chapter 659: Cannot Laugh

James Black glanced at Jane Sampson, who had a guilty look on her face, and chuckled, ”No matter how busy, it’s not like I can’t find the time to pick you up from the airport and bring you home.”

Jane Sampson raised her hand and touched the tip of her nose, muttering to herself.

Pff, before, when she couldn’t make it home more than two or three times a year, wasn’t it because he was too busy to find the time?

Men are so fickle; they change their minds in the blink of an eye.

Even though she grumbled about James Black all the way, Jane Sampson still happily took his hand and got into his car.

Once James Black started the car and headed home, Jane Sampson then asked him, ”So, are you staying at home tonight, or are you going to drop me off and then return to the guard team?”

James Black didn’t answer her, as if he hadn’t heard, just seriously focused on driving.

However, it was already very late, and there were hardly any cars on the road, so there really was no need for James Black to be driving with such intense concentration.

Jane Sampson reached out and tugged at his sleeve, then leaned toward him directly and asked again, ”James Black! Are you going to return to the guard team tonight or not?”

”If I said I was going back, could you guarantee that you’d manage your expression?” James Black finally spoke, but his tone wasn’t too friendly.

Jane Sampson felt like choking. Was she always that transparent?

Jane Sampson quieted down, and only then did James Black give the woman by his side a fleeting glance, then he tugged at the corner of his mouth, letting out a soft chuckle.

Once they reached downstairs, Jane Sampson was the first to jump out of the car and conscientiously began dragging her luggage out of the trunk. Seeing James Black also getting out, she waved her hands quickly and said, ”You can just drop me off here. It’s very late; you should hurry back to the guard team.”

Don’t laugh!

Mustn’t laugh!

Laugh and the petty man will get angry and upset!

So, by all means, do not laugh.

Jane Sampson, with a poker face, looked at James Black and turned her face to the side as they said their goodbyes.

James Black locked the car and scoffed, taking the suitcase from Jane Sampson’s hand and walked ahead first, saying, ”When did I tell you I was going back to the guard team tonight?”

???

!!!

Jane Sampson blinked her eyes. Did his words just now not mean that?

”What are you standing there for? Hurry up.” James Black, three meters away, turned his head to urge her, pressing the elevator button with one hand.

Jane Sampson then scurried after him, eyeing James Black all the way until they reached the elevator, making him frown slightly. He raised his hand and covered her eyes with his leisurely palm, pressing her head against his chest.

Jane Sampson struggled for a bit before managing to free her head.

Once inside the home doorway, James Black helped Jane Sampson sort out the clothes in her suitcase; she followed him like a shadow from the home doorway all the way to the cloakroom. Only then did James Black turn around and speak to Jane Sampson.

”Aren’t you tired after being busy all day?”

”Tired,” Jane Sampson nodded.

”Then shouldn’t you go take a bath? Standing here, are you planning to tidy up your stuff yourself?” James Black stood up and made way. ”If you want to do it yourself, come in, but if you dare to stuff everything inside the wardrobe haphazardly, think about the consequences.”

”Oh, I’m so tired, I’m going to take a bath,” Jane Sampson said, supporting her forehead as if she was on the verge of collapse from fatigue, and quickly turned around and left the cloakroom.

With Daddy Black around, why should she bother doing these things herself?

Jane Sampson took her stuff and went straight into the bathroom, so she didn’t notice when she started the shower and the sound of water filled the room, James Black left the cloakroom and went straight to the bed, picking up her purse from the bed and hanging it up.

Meanwhile, he also took her mobile phone out of her purse.

After operating Jane Sampson’s mobile phone for a few minutes, he put it back in her purse, then returned to the cloakroom and quickly unpacked everything out of her suitcase.
