CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 327: Chapter 335: You Have a Criminal Record

Of course, the hand holding her hood hadn’t loosened and let go either.

Jane Sampson wondered to herself if her sneaking away had gone unnoticed, or else why would he be holding onto her hood like that to prevent her from running? To be honest, Jane Sampson’s physical strength was not bad. Following James Black’s teachings to maintain steady breathing and run at a consistent pace, she had run for over ten minutes without feeling as tired as she had expected.

It was only when she noticed more and more dog owners walking dogs passing by her side did Jane Sampson realize something was amiss.

She stopped running, came to a halt, turned around, and started patting James Black’s hand that was holding her hood, muttering, ”Let go already! Let go! You keep holding my hood like that, it’s just like walking a dog!”

While other people were holding dog leashes, with the dogs running in front of their owners, James Black was holding her hood, with her running in front of him—it was as if James Black was walking her!

”You have priors. If I don’t keep an eye on you, you’ll run,” James Black responded, but seeing Jane Sampson’s indignant look, he still let go of her hood and even took the time to adjust it before withdrawing his hand.

”Priors?” Jane Sampson choked, defending herself weakly, ”That’s not true~ I told you I was just curious about running backwards like others!”

James Black couldn’t be bothered to expose Jane Sampson. He had been standing not far away watching since the moment she turned her head to run. She had looked left and right before taking off, just failing to see him standing in his hidden spot.

After she ran off, he had arrived at her spot and even timed how long she would take to return.

It was just that he pretended not to know when she came back.

If Jane Sampson had brought a key with her when she left the house, James Black was certain that right now she would definitely be lying on the bed in the bedroom, possibly having fallen back into a deep sleep.

Seeing James Black’s silent, profound expression as if he knew everything yet said nothing, Jane felt a bitterness in her heart.

”I won’t run anymore!” Since he already knew all about it, Jane Sampson gave in, stepped back a few steps, then stood still.

Seeing James Black walking towards her, Jane Sampson had a smart idea, spun around, and ran directly behind James Black, tiptoed, and flung herself onto his back.

”I won’t run even if you kill me!” Jane Sampson was completely draped over James Black’s back, triumphant to the point of gloating, ”Let’s see what you can do now!”

After saying that, Jane Sampson burst into laughter, her laughter echoing several meters away.

She was sticking to James Black’s back like rubber adhesive, and since James Black was concerned about touching her right hand, he hardly dared to move for fear of dropping her to the ground, let alone shaking her off his back.

”If you’re so capable, then run with me on your back,” Jane Sampson taunted next to James Black’s ear and then adjusted her position. This time she genuinely pressed her entire weight onto his back.

Jane Sampson had no worries that a man who could easily lift her wouldn’t be able to carry her.

During their time at Tooth Mountain, James Black had carried her for such a long distance without even breathing heavy twice; Jane reckoned that with James Black’s strength, running with her on his back probably wouldn’t be an issue.

”Jane Sampson, are you asking to be disciplined?” James Black really feared Jane Sampson would fall if she kept moving on his back, so he instinctively stretched his arms behind him, lightly supporting her hands that were wrapped around his waist.
