CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 324: Chapter 332: Can’t Get Down

”Not bad, realizing that,” James Black lifted Jane Sampson up from the bed.

”Then, may I make a small request?” Jane raised a finger toward James, ”A very tiny one.”

”Let’s hear it first.” Considering that Jane was often slippery, James did not immediately agree.

Jane immediately sat up straight, her eyes sparkling as she looked at James and said with a chuckle, ”Wait for me until two o’clock for shopping at noon!”

James’s eyes darkened slightly. Hmm, he just knew that Jane wouldn’t say anything to please him.

”Are you going to agree or not?” Jane hurriedly asked.

”One o’clock it is, and if it’s one minute more, don’t expect me to wait for you.” James tapped Jane’s forehead, ”Get up, don’t dawdle.”

”You... are too bullying!” Jane, without even changing her lines, had her raised finger trembling slightly, obviously quite angry.

She glared with round eyes and huffed, then threw herself directly into James Black’s arms, her legs entwining around his, one hand holding onto his waist, and pushed him down onto the bed.

She said fiercely, ”I’m not going! Don’t even think about it! Who’s running? Sleep!”

Then she tightly closed her eyes, gritted her teeth, and with all her might pinned James down onto the bed.

Hmph, even a rabbit bites when cornered!

She clung to James like a koala, the tighter he moved, the tighter she held on.

”You’ve really learned some skills,” James couldn’t help but praise Jane, but even though she was pinning and holding him down like this, he easily sat up, simultaneously lifting Jane from the ground as he stood.

”Are you getting down?” James was already standing up, shaking his body slightly.

Jane tightly wrapped her left hand around James’s waist and her legs around his knees, and with much pride responded, ”No!”

James didn’t try to pull off the person clinging to him and simply walked towards the restroom, stopping in front of the toilet, he asked again, ”Do you want to get down now?”

”You~ what are you going to do?” Jane was dumbfounded, and by the looks of it, he wasn’t preparing to relieve himself, was he?

”What do you think I’m standing here for?” James teased with the corner of his mouth.

”Number one?” Jane tentatively asked, ”That can’t be right? I’m blocking you like this!”

”Whether I can or can’t is my business, we’ll know if we try.” James gently tightened the hand wrapped around her waist, the other hand resting on his waistband, then he looked down at Jane, ”Are you sure you won’t get down?”

Jane’s eyes slowly traveled from James’s face down to his hand on the waistband, and her cheeks instantly turned bright red. ”Fine, I’ll get down! Old rascal!”

Jane’s resolve didn’t last long, she chickened out.

Her legs touched the ground, and she turned and ran out of the restroom.

”Just a little rabbit’s gall.” James snorted, it was all just for teasing her; with her clinging like that, he really couldn’t do much else.

After James had finished washing up and came out, Jane ultimately resigned herself and let James pull her into the restroom to brush her teeth and wash her face with his help.

Some things, you live through once, and you’re familiar by the second time; when James was helping her dress, Jane was able to pretend to be unfazed while blushing.

The wind on an early summer morning is the most comfortable and coolest of the whole day.

Just before six o’clock in the morning, there were surprisingly quite a few people in the residential community, all like James, who had gotten up for a morning run.
