I Became a Medical Genius in the 80s

Chapter 656: Chapter 655

Beisitian highlighted the key points to tell the two elders about Beijiale, and naturally, they also learned that Beidewang was not dead.

The two elders were so stunned by this bizarre and twisty story that they couldn’t speak for a while and naturally looked at their two little granddaughters.

If it were someone else, Beisitian wouldn’t dare to speak, fearing disdain from her in-laws and possibly getting kicked out. But she had been through thick and thin with these two elders and Luo Xuping for so long, she understood their nature well, so after much consideration, she decided to tell them.

This is being responsible to them, and also to the two children.

When Mrs. Qin and Luo Anguo first learned that the two children’s blood types clashed, they already thought it was strange. But they didn’t expect the situation to be like this.

”According to what they say, when a child like this is born, whether boy or girl, they must take the surname Bei, so as to avoid future gossip,” Beisitian said.

This was what Beijiale told her, the boys naturally take the surname Bei, and if the child is a girl, she must also take the surname Bei. This way, whatever happens in the future, only the Bei family would be talked about, not dragging in other surnames.

This is benevolence left by the Beijia for future generations.

The two elders remained silent for a while, Mrs. Qin sighed not knowing what to say, Luo Anguo spoke, ”Little Tian’er, we never went to school, we don’t understand anything, but Dad knows, ever since you came to our house, you haven’t enjoyed any blessings, instead, you led us out of difficulties and to blessings, our family is a whole, in adversity and prosperity, at that time you didn’t abandon our blind, handicapped, and young, now we also won’t let the kids change their surname just because of this matter, even if the daughter doesn’t inherit, she’s still from the Old Luo Family, this matter, the Old Luo Family will bear!”

Mrs. Qin also nodded, ”I think the same, they are my own granddaughters!”

Although Beisitian guessed it would be like this, she was still moved by them. They truly shared faith through thick and thin, overcoming difficulties together, and sharing blessings together. That’s what a real family is!

However, she indeed didn’t want the Luo family to bear a bad reputation, especially with this hereditary illness. Once it starts with this generation, it will be talked about for generations.

Therefore, Beisitian decided that if she could find a way, that would be great, but if not, when they reach the end of the rope, she’ll have the two children take the surname Bei, and when they grow up, they can continue to look for a solution.

This decision Beisitian didn’t tell the two elders, only said she planned to find a cure, and the two elders trusted Beisitian very much, since she said so, they believed it.

”We don’t understand these things, our life is like this, we can’t help you much, the only thing we can do is help you raise the three children well, with us at home, you just go and do what you need to.” Mrs. Qin said.

Beisitian looked at the wrinkles on Mrs. Qin’s face, feeling remorseful that at their age they still had to worry, she couldn’t help but step forward and hug Mrs. Qin, ”Mom, thank you.”

Mrs. Qin immediately burst into laughter, ”Oh my, you’re at it again, get up, you’re too old to be hugging already, move, move, how embarrassing.”

Beisitian was amused by Mrs. Qin’s tone, got up and saw Mrs. Qin rolling her eyes at her, her face slightly red.

The origins of the Beijia are not easy to trace, even Leute like Beidewang do not know, let alone her.

However, there were ways to find those reclusive experts.

Beisitian remembered the mentioned medical conference before, which was typically attended by Mystic Doctors from all over, to find clues, she had to blend into this circle.

This year’s conference was held in Beijing, it was convenient for her to participate, and she could make some arrangements.

Beisitian had some clues, so she asked Luo Xudong to search nationwide for signs of experts, covering both hospitals and the folk, focusing on the folk.

Wu Yuekai’s investigation focused on the origins of the Beijia, where the Beijia came from, seemingly from the south, Luo Xudong’s influence in the south was relatively weak, so they could only rely on the old master.

Intending to participate in this conference, when the Wei Family Brothers came over, she asked them about the related matters.

Wei Zhongxun was excited to hear that his master would also participate, ”Master, if you participate, you will surely make a name for yourself!”

Spiritual Talisman!

How many years has it been since someone capable of creating a Spiritual Talisman appeared, his master can do it!

”To put it simply, this kind of conference is a form of competition. Mystic Doctor families from all over will basically participate, it’s a good opportunity to make a name for oneself, Mystic Doctors need reputation, the specifics of the competition are different every session, this session’s been delayed, so there’s no specific plan yet.” Wei Zhongyuan said.

Tian Zhi listened intently on the side, he could also participate in such a grand event, just thinking about it made him excited!

”Even though the competition plan hasn’t appeared, each session will have similar processes, for example, bringing out unresolved medical cases and allowing people to solve them, this step is sure to be there.” Wei Zhongyuan said again.

He did not know about the Beijia’s situation and spoke casually, but Beisitian’s eyes lit up hearing it, this session is great!

”By the way, Brother Yuan, my grandfather reportedly participated in such a gathering, but he was not a Mystic Doctor?” Tian Zhi interrupted.

Wei Zhongyuan nodded, ”Participating in this conference isn’t exclusive to Mystic Doctors, those knowledgeable of Mystic Doctors and maintaining close exchanges with them can also be invited, the Tian Family should strive, perhaps they could also get a spot.”

Mystic Doctors can participate autonomously, while non-Mystic Doctors need an invitation to join.

Tian Zhi’s eyes brightened, he knew his grandfather really wanted to participate.

After thinking it through, Beisitian asked, ”Do you know any reclusive experts?”

Wei Zhongyuan couldn’t help but glance at her, like someone like you?

After pondering, he replied, ”There’ve been rumors in some places, but whether they are old Chinese doctors or reclusive Mystic Doctors, it’s unknown.”

If people choose to live hidden lives as ordinary people, nobody would be so bored to dig out this information, only those seeking medical help would inquire about it.

”Tell me these rumors, I really want to know more.” Beisitian said with a smile.

Wei Zhongyuan did not hesitate much, divulging the rumors from several places, then said with a curious look, ”Your location is also one of the rumors.”

Beisitian was taken aback, ”My location?”

Wei Zhongyuan nodded, ”It’s said that a powerful Mystic Doctor is hidden in the Capital City, has resolved several tricky cases, and due to this conference being held in Beijing, many have delved deeply into these rumors.”

Even though those people wouldn’t deliberately do anything, since they’ve come to Beijing, meeting up for an exchange would naturally be nice.

There are likely many holding such thoughts.
