Chapter 2582: Chapter 2582: You All Will Be Our Wives

At 1 a.m., Yu Qi finally heard something. It was the sound of someone putting the key into the keyhole. Since it was their house, it was possible that they had the key. The door was slowly opened.

Yu Qi was watching in the dark. She saw the people entering the house one by one. The total number of people was five. So, they were planning to take the women for themselves.

”Hey, turn on the light.” Someone said.

”Where is the switch?”

”Next to you, you idiot.”

Click. The dark house became bright after that. Then, they were frightened when they saw a girl sitting on the floor in front of a door.

”AHHH!!!” One of them shouted in shock.

Yu Qi slowly lifted up her face, looking at those men who just entered the room. The son of the village leader braved himself to ask Yu Qi.

”You... You... Why don’t you sleep?” The son of the village leader asked.

His son already told them that these girls already passed out and would not wake up until morning. Her mother also emphasised that she put a lot of herbs in Yu Qi’s drink since she did not eat the food much. How could she still be awake and still lucid?

”Then, let me ask you something, too. Why are you all here?” Yu Qi looked at them.

”That...” The son of the village leader wanted to lie, but someone could not hold back and spoke the truth.

”Because we want to play with your city girls.” The person even laughed.

”So, your village leader knows about this, too? All of you are together in this?” Yu Qi raised her eyebrow.

”Of course, he knows. Our Mingho is his son. We all know.” Another one chimed in.

”So, the whole village is targeting us, the girls... Drugging us...” Yu Qi narrowed her eyes.

”That’s right. You all will be our wives.” A villager laughed.

”And you should be grateful that you will be marrying the son of the village leader.” Another villager patted the son of the village leader.

”Hey, don’t waste the time. We should do what we should do.” Another villager said.

Everyone nodded understandingly. They stepped forward. The son of the village leader smiled at Yu Qi. He could not wait to reach out for Yu Qi. Other villagers went to check the rooms.

”Where are they?” Other villagers ran out of the rooms and asked.

The son of the village leader looked at them. ”What?”

”They are not inside.” Someone stated.

”Same.” Another one nodded.

Then, they automatically turned to Yu Qi. The girls must be inside the room behind Yu Qi.

”So, you gather everyone into a room. You want to do it together? I don’t know the city girl will be so vulgar.” The son of the village leader laughed.

Other men also laughed when they heard the statement.

”If you want to die, you can approach me.” Yu Qi stated.

The villagers did not think much about Yu Qi’s threat. They did not think Yu Qi was a threat because they thought Yu Qi was a weak girl who had no one to rely on.

The son of the village leader wanted to grab Yu Qi. However, before her finger managed to reach Yu Qi, he stopped moving as he was frozen.

At first, the people around him did not notice his condition. But after waiting for a while to see him touch the girl, he was still not moving, so they turned to the son of the village leader.

”Mingho, what is wrong with you?” Someone asked, touching the son of the village leader.

The son of the village leader fell backwards with a thump. Everyone was shocked. They looked at the son of the village leader. He was still in the same posture with his hand reached out. He could not move, but his eyes still could blink. Because of the impact from the fall just now, he teared up. The tear flew from his eyes.

”Mingho... Mingho...” Someone called the son of the village leader’s name several times, but still, only his eye seemed to blink.

One of them turned to Yu Qi and shouted. ”What have you done to him?”

”You want to know?” Yu Qi asked.

The villagers did not expect Yu Qi to admit so bluntly.

”You... You...”

”Grab her.”

Everyone rushed to Yu Qi. However, a second later, they were in the same situation as the son of the villager leader. They showed fear in their eyes as they saw Yu Qi approach them.

”Don’t worry. I will not do anything else to you. Someone will.” Yu Qi smiled.

The five men showed fear in their eyes. They really wanted to shout, hoping someone would come and help them.

Not long after that, there were some sounds. It was the sound of vehicles. Probably 5 of them. Yu Qi, who was sitting while closing her eyes, opened her eyes when she heard the sound.

”They are finally here.” Yu Qi said.

Because it was almost dawn, some of the villagers already woken up. They were surprised to see the vehicles coming to the village. They wondered what happened. They were also surprised to see the soldiers come out of the vehicles in full armour. More and more people came out of their houses to see what was happening. That included the village leader and his wife.
