Chapter 2400: People Finds Out His Lie

Shao Fa was confused at the moment. He received a notice that he had been fired. He rushed to the company to ask the reason why he suddenly received a notice like that.

When he arrived at the company and wanted to scan his ID card, it stated it was not working. He tried several times while cursing under his breath. Because of his action, people started to watch him. It was so embarrassing. Then, he saw his superior walk toward him.

”Mr James...” Shao Fa wanted to speak, but that person cut him off.

”Mr Shao, I believe you have already received the notice.” James Culvin stated.

”I know that. But I really want to know why I am being fired.” Shao Fa stated.

”You really dont know why you are being fired?” James Culvin raised his eyebrow.

”I donʼt.” Shao Fa said.

”What is this? Creating trouble at the entrance of the company? Do you know it would give a negative vibe to outsiders?”

They turned around and saw the president, Author Smith. Yes, the one who wanted to collaborate with QinYue Group was the Smith Family from Continent M.

James Culvin immediately apologised to Author Smith. ”President Smith, please forgive me. I donʼt handle this matter correctly.”

Shao Fa was surprised to see the president here. However, he knew it was time to plead his case.

”President Smith, I have been wrongly fired. I hope you can take a look at this matter.” Shao Fa begged Author Smith.

”Wrongly fired?” Author Smith raised his eyebrow. He turned to James Culvin. ”You fired him?”

”Yes, President Smith. But there is a reason behind that. It was about the failed collaboration with the company from Binhai Nation.” James Culvin stated.

”Oh... That...” President Smith knew about that.

”Mr James, it is not my fault. It was the other side. I already explained to you about that.” Shao Fa said.

”Hmm... I think we should change the place.” Alex Smith said.

So, they moved to the conference room. They took a seat.

”President Smith, the reason why we failed in the negotiations is that the other side listened to a woman. That woman was angry at me.” Shao Fa began to twist the truth like he had done earlier to Jame Culvin.

James Culvin frowned. So, Shao Fa still wanted to stick to that story.

”Oh... A woman? Why did it have anything to do with her?” Author Smith asked.

”That woman spotted me on a flight. Seeing me in a luxury suit and a watch, she began to pester me, wanting to know him. Of course, I am refused. I already have my wife and family.” Shao Fa highlighted that he was loyal. ”Turned out that person was Mr Suʼs woman. I donʼt know what kind of words she said to Mr Su. Mr Su immediately refused to speak to me and announced that they would not collaborate with us.”

”Oh... Really?” Author Smith narrowed his eyes.

”Yes.” Shao Fa was confident with his lies.

”James Culvin, what do you like to say?” Author Smith asked.

”President Smith, it is a lie. After Shao Fa told me that, I tried to contact Mr Su several times. But Mr Su did not pick up my calls.” James Culvin said.

Shao Fa did not know that James Culvin tried to contact Su Yu Hi. He was relieved that Su Yu Hi did not pick up James Culvinʼs call.

”So, I tried sending emails to Mr Su. Fortunately, Mr Su replied to my email. From there, we managed to speak to each other.” James Culvin continued.

Shao Fa was shocked. He knew that he was doomed.

”The reason why Mr Su refused to collaborate with us because Shao Fa had harassed their chairwoman. That woman whom Shao Fa said was pestering him was the chairwoman. She was not pestering him. He was the one who was pestering that chairwoman. Mr Su even sent a video showing Shao Fa indeed harassing the chairwoman.” James Culvin said.

”Do you have that video?” Author Smith asked.

”Yes. I will ask my secretary to show you.” James Culvin stated.

Shao Fa was already sweating. He knew... He knew he was doomed.

James Culvin ordered his secretary to get the pendrive from the office and bring it here. The secretary connected the pendrive to the computer there. The projector projected the video on the big screen in front of everyone.

It was recorded by someone else. It showed a moment Shao Fa saw a woman, he showed a lewd look. He kept asking the woman, wanting the woman to accompany him. It stopped when he was asked by the flight attendant to change his seat.

In the next video, it showed Shao Fa was still pestering the woman at the arrival hall. He insulted the woman by telling her that she was sleeping around to look rich. Unlike the previous time when the woman was kept silent, the woman replied, calling him the old man. She continued that she would never choose an old man like him, even if he was rich.

”Why does someone film this?” Alex Smith asked.

”The first recording came from a pin camera attached to a bodyguard. The woman had the bodyguards around him. That is what Mr Su told me when I asked about the recording.” James Culvin explained.

”Impossible, there is no bodyguard.” Shao Fa argued.
