Chapter 2367: Repeating The Scene

Cai Jing told Cai Cheng that he could not harm them. The boy was Cai Chengʼs little brother. Cai Cheng should protect him.

Cai Cheng laughed when he heard that statement. He needed to protect him since that boy was his little brother. What a joke. He only had a little sister. So, he did not know what kind of nonsense Cai Jing wanted him to think.

Cai Cheng told him that he needed to start thinking about repaying the debt that he owed. Otherwise, he would destroy his beloved family.

Cai Jing ran to Cai Cheng and told Cai Cheng that Ci Cheng needed to help him because Cai Cheng was his son. Cai Cheng told Cai Jing that he started dreaming because there was no way that he would help Cai Cheng. Cai Jing was not his father anymore. He already removed Cai Jing from his family registration. They were no longer related by law.

Cai Cheng told the boss that the boss needed to open back the debt that Cai Cheng had been paid for these past two years and started to chase after Cai Jing. He would not take back the money that he had been working to pay the debt before. Because of that, the boss was happy to open the debt again. Cai Jing would not be able to run anymore since Cai Cheng already paid someone to follow him. That was why Cai Cheng knew Cai Jing came to his old house.

Cai Cheng stopped working with the loan shark. He was scouted by a gang. The gang was quite famous in the area. Even the loan shark was afraid of this gang. Cai Cheng worked hard until he got the second commander position in the gang.

The life became quite comfortable. He was in charge of the weapon smuggling business.

Now, he was facing the same situation where the debt collecter would come to his house demanding the money and forcedly took his little sister.

”Mother, Suyin, we need to leave this house now.” Cai Cheng said.

”Brother, what is going on?” Cai Suyin asked in confusion.

”Cheng-er, whatʼs wrong with you?” His mother also looked worriedly at Cai Cheng.

”Mother, Suyin, I will explain to you guys later. Right now, we need to leave now.” Cai Cheng said.

However, before they managed to leave, the debt collector already arrived at his house, blocking their way to leave. Cai Cheng was tensed as he looked at the people.

”We donʼt have any money. You should go and find Cai Jing to pay his debt.” Cai Cheng shouted angrily.

The debt collector ignored Cai Cheng and looked at his mother .”You are Cai Jingʼs wife, right? You should understand that the debt would be shared with the family. So, you need to pay up.”

”Well, if you donʼt have any money, you can give your daughter as the collateral. If you settle the debt, you will get your daughter back.” The debt collecter continued.

”Over my dead body.” Cai Cheng gritted his teeth while protecting his little sister behind him.

”Hey, brat. We had been patient with you. Donʼt think we donʼt dare to hurt you.” The debt collector glared at Cai Cheng.

”Nevertheless, we donʼt have any money and I will not let you bastards to take away my sister.” Cai Cheng said.

However, one of the debt collector took out his gun and pointed it at Cai Chengʼs head.

”You brat. Letʼs see how you stand against the bullet.” The debt collector said.

The debt collector did not hesitate to shoot Cai Cheng. The bullet hit Cai Chengʼs shoulder.

”Brother!”

”Cheng-er!”

His mother and sister got to his side when he fell on the ground.

”You should watch your mouth next time.” The debt collector said.

”Letʼs grab the girl and get it done.” The debt collector stated.

The debt collectors grabbed his sister while leaving. He did not have any energy to fight with the debt collector. He could only watch his sister being dragged by the debt collector while his mother was being pushed by the debt collector. Then, he lost his consciousness.

When he opened his eyes again, he saw his sister in front of him. He immediately hugged her and cried. His sister was confused as why her brother suddenly hugged her and cried. Then, they heard their mother calling them to eat.

Cai Cheng was glad that he was just dreaming. His sister got out first. He stood up and got out of his room. Then, he saw the feast on the table.

”Happy birthday, Brother. Come over. Mother slaughtered two chickens for your birthday.” Cai Suyin grinned.

”Come and eat.” His mother smiled.

”But we need to leave.” Cai Cheng said in panicked.

However, the same thing happened again. The debt collectors appeared at their door again. They demanded the same thing, wanting his mother to pay the debt and wanted to take away his sister as collateral.

Of course, Cai Cheng fought back. He refused that. The debt collector took out his gun again, aiming to shoot Cai Cheng. However, this time, the one who got shot was his sister. His sister fell down. The blood flew out like a water, wetting the area. His mother cried calling for his sisterʼs name.

He was stunned. It should not be like this. It should not be his sister who got shot by the debt collector. It should be him.
