Chapter 2370: Lady Xiurong

”How do you know about our family? Our family is a hidden family. Normal cultivators might not even know about us. How does an outsider like you know about my family and know about the location of our familyʼs residence?” A man, probably at the same age as Great-Grandpa Dian, asked Yu Qi about that. He might be the current head of the Xie Family.

”I have my own connection.” Yu Qi smiled.

”Whose grave do you want to see?” The man asked again.

”Lady Xiurong.” Yu Qi stated.

The manʼs eyes flickered. They indeed had a family member with that name. However, it was a female family member who had been dead for thousands of years. He was confused about how this couple knew about the woman and why they wanted to see her.

Then a woman arrived late at the hall. She sized up Yu Qi and Long Hui up and down.

”You want to see my ancestor?” The woman asked.

”Your ancestor?” Yu Qi and Long Hui were surprised.

”Yes, I am Xie Shurong. I am her great, great, great, well, about 20th time grandchildren.” Xie Shurong stated.

”So, can you show me Lady Xiurongʼs grave? We want to pay some respect to her.” Yu Qi stated.

”First thing, you need to tell us how you know about our ancestor.” Xie Shurong demanded the answer.

Well, not only Xie Shurong, but also the whole family. They wanted to know how these outsiders knew their ancestors.

”I met her once.” Yu Qi said.

”Impossible. She had been dead for thousands of years. You can not lie to us.” The head of the Xie Family stated.

”Of course, it is impossible.” Yu Qi cut his sentence.

The head of the Xie Family smirked.

”However, I met her in my dream recently. She told me to come here to visit her grave.” Yu Qi stated.

Yu Qiʼs words silenced them. The head of the Xie Family wore a surprised expression.

”Then, when you say it was your connection earlier, do you mean her?” The head of the Xie Family asked.

”Yes. How do you think we know the exact location of your place?” Yu Qi replied to the question with a question.

”So, you are the people who will come to our house as my ancestor told me.” Xie Shurong said.

”What do you mean by that?” Long Hui asked.

”From generation to generation, we had been told by our older generation that there would be a couple who would come and ask to visit Lady Xiurongʼs grave. We have to allow them to pay respect to Lady Xiurong and give a box to the couple. I believe this comes from Lady Xiurong herself. She is the legendary prognosticator during her time.” Xie Shurong stated.

”She predicted this?” Long Hui could not believe his ears.

Yu Qi reached out to Long Huiʼs hand, which seemed to be slightly shaking.

”So, can we believe Lady Xiurongʼs grave now?” Yu Qi asked.

”Yes. I will lead you to the grave.” Xie Shurong nodded.

The head of the Xie Family did not say anything, just watched Xie Shurong lead the guest to their family tombs. There were a lot of graves in this family tomb. Hundreds, maybe thousands, of Xie Family members had been buried in this site.

They finally arrived at Lady Xiurongʼs grave. The tombstone looked cleaner compared to the others.

”This is Lady Xiurongʼs grave.” Xie Shurong stated.

”Can you leave us alone for a moment?” Yu Qi asked.

If Xie Shurong was standing there, Yu Qi was sure that Long Hui could not express his true feelings in front of Lady Xiurongʼs grave.

Yu Qi was so glad that Xie Shurong nodded. Xie Shurong moved quite far from them, but she still could see Yu Qi and Long Hui.

Lady Xiurong was Long Huiʼs elder sister when he was Xie Likui. The one who loved him. When Xie Likui was being forced to marry another girl that their family thought equal to them, Xie Xiurong told their father that he could not force her little brother to get married. Their father could not get angry with Xie Xiurong because of her ability. She was a genius prognosticator whom everyone had been waiting for a century. She protected Xie Likui in her own way. Xie Likui was very grateful at that time.

Yu Qi heard Long Hui tell her about his sister. That was how Yu Qi knew about Xie Xiurong. Long Hui stated that everyone in the Xie Family was a monster except for his older sister.

Long Hui looked at the tombstone. The name was carved by Xie Xiurong herself. She probably carved it after knowing her lifespan would be over. Actually, Long Hui felt a little complicated right now. His older sister probably knew about the incident that happened to Qin Yue. However, his older sister did not tell him about that. If his older sister told him about that, he might be able to save Qin Yue.

Well, everything was in the past. He had already reunited with his beloved Qi Qi.

”Older Sister, I came to visit you. Iʼm sorry Iʼm just now visiting you.” Long Hui said.

Since Yu Qi and Long Hui were focusing on the tombstone, they did not notice that a shadow appeared. It was a transparent image of a girl. The girl seemed to be smiling, watching Yu Qi and Long.
