Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 252 Are you interested? Then place an order!Chapter 252 Are you interested? Then place an order!

After an hour-long vivid and easy-to-understand explanation by Pan Xueming.

Everyone present finally had a clearer understanding of the general configuration of the Zvezda light aircraft carrier of the 704 Shipyard.

It has to be said that this light aircraft carrier seems to be tailor-made for Saudi Arabia in the Camel Region, and its various performance indicators perfectly meet the country’s actual needs.

From the overall structure to the internal facilities, to the weapons and equipment systems, etc., all are the result of careful design and consideration.

Lin Chenran: ”I didn’t, don’t talk nonsense.”

At this time, Abdul asked: ”Lin, what do you think about the configuration of the carrier-based aircraft of the Zvezda light aircraft carrier?”

Since this aircraft carrier is so in line with the needs of his country, Abdul is naturally very happy and has expressed a strong desire to purchase it.

And asked the latter about the matching of carrier-based aircraft on the Zvezda light aircraft carrier.

Lin Chenran thought for a moment, then replied calmly, ”Abdul, if we want the Xingchen light aircraft carrier to exert its strongest combat power, I suggest that we configure it to accommodate up to 30 carrier-based aircraft.”

”These include three helicopter early warning aircraft for early reconnaissance and early warning; six anti-submarine helicopters to enhance the anti-submarine capability of the aircraft carrier formation; and the remaining 3 are all equipped with advanced fighter jets.”

Then, Lin Chenran added: ”However, the specific fighter configuration can also be adjusted accordingly according to the requirements of different combat missions.”

”In short, we should be flexible and make arrangements in a way that is convenient for carrying out the mission!”

”What about the aircraft carrier formation?”

Abdul stared at Lin Chenran anxiously and then asked.

He wanted to know how Lin Chenran arranged the light aircraft carrier formation.

Without the close cooperation of other warships, an aircraft carrier would be a ”living target” with no ability to fight back on the vast ocean.

Although an aircraft carrier is equipped with a certain amount of weapons and equipment on its deck, these forces are far from enough to ensure its absolute safety.

Lin Chenran frowned slightly and fell into a brief contemplation.

After a moment, he raised his head and explained clearly: ”A light aircraft carrier formation needs at least 2 to 3 missile destroyers with powerful firepower.”

”They are like loyal guards beside aircraft carriers. With their advanced radar systems and long-range attack capabilities, they can effectively detect and destroy threats from the enemy.”

”At the same time, there must be two to three frigates that are flexible and maneuverable and have excellent defensive capabilities.”

”These frigates can not only undertake the task of short-range air defense and anti-submarine operations, but also serve as a solid barrier to protect aircraft carriers from attacks by small ships.”

”In addition, one or two submarines hidden deep in the sea are also essential.”

”Whether it is a conventional-powered submarine or a nuclear-powered submarine, it can use its stealth to launch unexpected attacks on potential enemies and provide additional strategic deterrence for the aircraft carrier formation.”

”One or two supply ships are responsible for guaranteeing the supply of materials for the entire fleet during the long voyage, ensuring that the aircraft carrier and its accompanying warships always maintain a good state of combat readiness.”

”In addition to the above core ships, there are many indispensable auxiliary ships, such as minesweepers, rescue ships, etc.”

Although Saudi Arabia in the Camel region does not have an aircraft carrier, other countries have aircraft carrier fleets.

A comparison will tell you whether it exists or not.

The Saudi Arabian Kingdom in the Camel Region is the richest country in the world with only a piece of cloth on its head.

Even if it is just a light aircraft carrier formation, he will have to reconfigure it.

They must be matched according to the top configuration.

……

At this time, Abdul and other members of the Saudi delegation in the camel area were thinking.

Judging from their current domestic warships, they don’t seem to be able to match an aircraft carrier formation! In addition, the performance of their domestic warships is relatively backward. Although they are not as good as those of Yan Country, they are all old and dilapidated.

If you want to form an aircraft carrier formation, you have to purchase other advanced warships to serve as ”wingman ships”.

Frigates, missile destroyers and supply ships all need to be purchased again.

……

Although we are tempted, this is not a trivial matter and the final decision will need to be made by senior domestic leaders.

”Lin, let’s go back to our residence and discuss it carefully, and then report the situation here to our country.”

”In three days, whether our Saudi Arabia intends to purchase your Zvezda light aircraft carrier or not, I will definitely give you a reply.”

Abdul stood up and said with a kind smile on his face.

As soon as he finished speaking, the members of the Saudi delegation from the Camel Region who were sitting nearby also stood up.

Seeing this, Lin Chenran quickly stood up and walked forward. He also walked to Abdul with a smile and responded, ”No problem. Purchasing an aircraft carrier is a big deal. It is indeed necessary for the leaders above to consider it carefully.”

Then, Lin Chenran added: ”Abdul, don’t worry.”

”I will send a telegram to the military in a moment to ask if we can arrange for you to board the Linjiang Aegis missile destroyer so that you can have a close look and inspection.”

Hearing this, a hint of surprise flashed in Abdul’s eyes, and he smiled gratefully: ”Thank you so much, Lin!”

After saying that, he turned around and took the members of the Saudi delegation from the Camel Region out of the conference room of the 704 Shipyard.

Lin Chenran led a group of senior staff in the factory to send them to the door. After the Rolls-Royce convoy gradually disappeared into the distance, he slowly withdrew his gaze and left the place with a group of senior executives of the 704 Shipyard.

……

Pan Xueming couldn’t wait to ask: ”Boss Lin, do you think the Saudi Arabian country in Luotuo region will purchase the Xingchen light aircraft carrier designed by us?”

At this time, Pan Xueming was feeling very uneasy.

He wanted the latter to purchase the Zvezda light aircraft carrier designed and developed by his team.

Then he would become the first person in Yan Country to design and develop aircraft carriers.

Although Pan Xueming is quite old and has let go of a lot of fame and fortune, he is not a saint. This is a great honor for him.

This will be recorded as a milestone in history.

In the future, when China designs, develops and builds aircraft carriers, he will be the first choice.

Lin Chenran glanced at the nervous Pan Xueming and comforted him gently, ”Mr. Pan, don’t worry!”

”Saudi Arabia in the Camel region will definitely purchase our Zvezda light aircraft carrier, and will also purchase other warships at that time.”

Pan Xueming sighed deeply: ”Boss Lin, I’m obsessed!”

“I’m old and still can’t let go.”

Lin Chenran responded with a smile: ”Mr. Pan, if it were me, I would do the same as you. This is a great honor and it’s only natural.”

……

After returning to their residence, the Saudi delegation in the Camel area immediately held a meeting.

The meeting content was sent back to the country in the form of a telegram, waiting for a reply from the country.
