Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 208: J-10 fighter jet begins flight testChapter 208: J-10 fighter jet begins flight test

Everyone walked into the temporary warehouse with excitement, and their eyes were immediately attracted by the majestic J-10 fighter jet in front of them.

It stopped there quietly, exuding a powerful and majestic aura, like a sleeping lion, waiting for the moment to wake up.

Golden light flashed in everyone’s eyes, and they were shocked by the power and dominance of the J-10 fighter.

This aircraft is like a sharp sword, ready to be unsheathed at any time, demonstrating unparalleled power.

”Is this our J-10 fighter jet?” a Yan country military leader said in disbelief.

He had seen the design drawings of the J-10 fighter jet, but the actual object in front of him gave him an extremely pleasant surprise.

The craftsmanship of this aircraft is exquisite, and every detail is handled perfectly, which is a hundred times more exquisite than the design drawings.

The J-10 fighter jet adopts a unique belly air intake method, with 6 reinforcing ribs installed above the air intake to increase the stability and maneuverability of the aircraft.

Its close-coupled canard aerodynamic layout of double-delta mid-wing plus delta front wing gives the aircraft better controllability and flexibility in the air.

While leading everyone to approach the J-10 fighter jet, Song Wen introduced its basic parameters and performance characteristics to everyone in detail.

He spoke passionately about the excellence of this fighter, allowing everyone present to gain a deeper understanding of its powerful strength.

Lin Chenran stood in the crowd, staring at the J-10 fighter jet, with an indescribable emotion surging in his heart.

In this parallel world, the J-10 fighter jet was mass-produced more than ten or even twenty years ahead of schedule.

This means that Yan Country has made a huge breakthrough in the field of military aviation and has acquired advanced third-generation fighter jets decades ahead of schedule.

This technological leap will greatly enhance Yan Country’s national defense capabilities and international status.

When everyone finished their visit to the static J-10 fighter jet, their faces were filled with bright smiles.

Especially those senior leaders from the Yan Country Air Force, they were very satisfied with the performance of the J-10 fighter.

Song Wen, who was standing by, saw the expressions of the crowd, and the stone in his heart finally fell slowly.

As long as the J-10 fighter jet can successfully pass the strict review of the Yan State military, it can start production and be equipped to the troops.

After appreciating the static display of the J-10 fighter jet, everyone began to look forward to its dynamic performance.

No matter how beautiful a fighter jet is statically, if it cannot demonstrate excellent performance in dynamic flight, it still cannot be called a successful fighter jet.

Everyone couldn’t wait to witness the heroic figure of the J-10 fighter jet soaring in the sky.

Elder Wei turned to Song Wen, who was standing beside him, and said with a serious and focused expression: ”Song Wen, the next step is the dynamic display of the J-10 fighter jet. Are you ready?”

There was a solemnity and anticipation in his voice, as if the importance of this moment was self-evident.

During the test flight of the Dragon Shadow fighter jet of the 077 Mechanical Arsenal, Mr. Wei was not that nervous.

At this moment, he began to tremble unconsciously.

why?

Because this is Yan Country’s third-generation fighter in the true sense.

The previous Dragon Shadow fighter could only be considered a second-generation and a half fighter.

In addition, the golden signboard of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory can make Wei Lao and other Yan State military leaders feel at ease.

Because the 077 Machinery Military Factory has such strength. Chengfei Military Industry Company is not the 077 Machinery Military Factory.

and so……

The first flight of a fighter jet is fraught with many uncertainties.

Whether it’s a mechanical failure, an electronic system issue, or some other unforeseen situation, everything can change in an instant.

This makes test flight a high-risk mission, requiring test pilots to have excellent technical capabilities and the psychological quality to calmly deal with crises.

The profession of test pilot is recognized as one of the high-risk professions.

Not only do they have to face various challenges during flight, but they also have to stay vigilant at all times to ensure the safety of themselves and the aircraft.

Once a mistake or accident occurs, the consequences are often catastrophic and may even result in the destruction of the aircraft and the death of people.

At this moment, although Song Wen felt a little uneasy, he tried hard to suppress his inner anxiety and make his expression appear firm and resolute.

He was fully aware of the importance of this test flight and the mission he was shouldering.

In response to Mr. Wei’s question, Song Wen answered without hesitation: ”Mr. Wei, we have made sufficient preparations, please rest assured.” His eyes were firm and full of confidence, which made people look forward to this test flight.

After hearing Song Wen’s answer, Mr. Wei slowly felt relieved.

He knew that Song Wen was a rigorous and responsible person. Since he was so sure, the possibility of a successful test flight was greater.

Lin Chenran, who was standing aside, understood this feeling very well.

As a colleague!

He knows all too well the tension before a test flight.

He comforted him, ”Don’t worry, Mr. Wei. The J-10 fighter will definitely be able to complete its first flight. I have great confidence in the J-10 fighter designed by Chief Designer Song Wen.”

His words revealed his confidence in the J-10 fighter jet.

The J-10 fighter jet is equipped with the AL-077FN turbofan engine domestically produced by the 31 Mechanical Military Factory, and its power output is very strong.

This engine uses advanced technology and can provide powerful thrust, allowing the J-10 fighter to soar freely in the air.

As the saying goes in the aviation field: ”As long as the thrust is strong, a brick can fly into the sky.”

He believes that the J-10 fighter jet will be able to successfully complete its first flight.

That’s right, the J-10 fighter jet is not only designed and developed by Chengfei Military Industry Corporation.

During this research and development process, the 077 Mechanical Arsenal played an important role.

In particular, the AL-10FN turbofan engine used by the J-31 fighter, this key power output device is provided by the 077 Machinery Military Factory.

In addition, many other important accessories are also carefully manufactured by the 077 Mechanical Arsenal.

”Song Wen, since everything is ready, let’s not waste everyone’s precious time and start the first test flight directly!” Mr. Wei made a decisive decision and instructed Song Wen to arrange the test flight of the J-10 fighter.

After hearing the order, Song Wen immediately conveyed relevant instructions to the Chengfei staff nearby, asking them to complete preparations for the test flight as soon as possible.

While the staff of Chengfei Military Industry Company were preparing, Lin Chenran asked Mr. Wei beside him how many J-10 fighter jets the Yan State military would purchase if their performance was superior.

Song Wen on the side was also very curious!
Amid the anticipation of the crowd, Elder Wei got straight to the point and said, ”The first batch will be fifty!”

Mr. Wei’s answer made Song Wen’s eyes light up.

The purchase of fifty J-10 fighter jets is a good order.

……

Under the expectant gaze of everyone, the J-10 fighter jet began its first flight!
