Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 207: 60 billion US dollars is no longer attractiveChapter 207: 60 billion US dollars is no longer attractive
Abdul was full of praise for the fuel-air explosive bombs produced by the 077 Mechanical Arsenal.

Although it was only a small fuel-air explosive bomb, the powerful force it demonstrated was completely in line with Abdul and others’ imagination of fuel-air explosive bombs.

Members of the Saudi delegation in the Camel area followed closely behind, expressing their admiration and amazement for the fuel-air explosive bomb.

They realized that this shell with great destructive power would become a deadly weapon on the battlefield.

Saudi Arabia must introduce this advanced weaponry as soon as possible to enhance its national defense capabilities and form a strong deterrent to other countries.

”Mr. Abdul, thank you very much for your recognition of our products. Your recognition is the source of motivation for our research and development.” Lin Chenran responded with a smile.

This also highlights that Saudi Arabia has a keen eye for selecting weapons and equipment in the Camel region.

After hearing this, there was a burst of cheerful laughter at the scene.

Everyone can feel the friendly atmosphere between each other.

After witnessing the amazing power of the small fuel-air explosive bombs manufactured by the 077 Mechanical Arsenal, the Saudi Kingdom in the Camel Region is full of confidence in the upcoming heavy fuel-air explosive bombs.

They are eager to have heavy fuel-air bombs in their country.

Therefore, Abdul couldn’t wait to urge Lin Chenran to return to the 077 Mechanical Military Factory to sign the contract as soon as possible.

He was worried that such excellent artillery shells might be restricted by the Yan State military and could not be sold abroad.

At Abdul’s urging, the group quickly got on the car and returned to the 077 Mechanical Arsenal.

After returning to the 077 Mechanical Arsenal, the two sides signed a plan for the purchase of fuel-air explosive bombs and technology transfer.

The total contract value exceeds US$500 million.

After signing the contract, everyone had a bright smile on their faces.

The 077 Mechanical Military Factory received an order worth million US dollars.

The Saudi Kingdom in the Camel region has acquired a powerful sub-nuclear bomb - the fuel-air bomb.

A happy transaction for both parties!
Everyone gets what they need.

”Abdul, please come to Yan Country in a month. We will find a testing site to test the heavy fuel-air explosive bomb.”

“Five hundred million dollars is really not expensive!”

“Great value for money!”

After signing the contract, Lin Chenran smiled slightly and invited Abdul to visit Yan Country in a month.

Witness the scene of a heavy fuel-air bomb explosion!

”No problem, I’ll be there then.”

Abdul was very interested when he heard this.

This scenario is not common.

Of course, as customers, they have the right to watch the grand explosion of the first heavy fuel-air bomb.

After signing the contract, the Saudi delegation from the Camel Region, headed by Abdul, slowly drove away from the 077 Mechanical Arsenal in their fleet of Rolls-Royces.

Lin Chenran and a group of senior executives from the 077 Mechanical Military Factory watched the other party leave.

They turned and left only after the car Abdul was in disappeared from their sight.

……

When the 077 Mechanical Military Factory reported that it had signed a million US dollar order with the Saudi Kingdom in the Camel Region, a group of Yan Kingdom military leaders were surprised.

And he felt that the 60 billion US dollar order in his hand was a bit boring!

This is an order that can only be obtained by selling heavy equipment to a great country.

The 077 Mechanical Military Factory earned million US dollars by selling heavy fuel-air explosive bombs and related technologies.

At the beginning, the Yan State military did not want the fuel-air bomb technology to leak out.

However, the 077 Mechanical Military Factory directly informed the Yan State military that they had an upgraded version of the fuel-air explosive bomb - the thermobaric bomb.

Thermobaric bombs are more powerful and more brutal!

This made the top military officials of Yan State agree to sell the fuel-air bomb technology to Saudi State in the Camel region.

I agreed, but I was shocked to hear that the fuel-air bomb was sold for 500 million US dollars.

The Yan country military still showed an envious look. As expected, in terms of arms sales, the 077 Machinery Military Factory has a first-class advantage.

This directly exceeds a number of third-tier military factories in the country.

The 077 Machinery Military Factory is far ahead of other third-tier military factories.

……

Good news came from Chengfei Military Industry Company.

The J-10 fighter, the third-generation fighter jet that the Chinese people have been longing for, is about to make its maiden flight.

Chief Designer Song Wen also wants to invite Lin Chenran to witness this moment.

The successful test flight of the Dragon Shadow fighter jet produced by the 077 Machinery Military Factory and the receipt of a large number of orders had left the J-10 fighter team feeling a bit angry.

They really didn’t expect that the Dragon Shadow fighter jet of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory would be developed and tested faster than them!

Although the Longying fighter is a second-generation and a half fighter, in some aspects it is better than the J-10 fighter.

The Dragon Shadow fighter is a second-generation and a half fighter that is infinitely close to a third-generation fighter.

……

After receiving the invitation from Chief Designer Song Wen, Lin Chenran would definitely be happy to participate in the first flight of the J-10 fighter jet!

Lin Chenran was warmly greeted by Song Wen when he arrived at Chengfei Military Industry Company.

Lin Chenran couldn’t stand Song Wen’s enthusiasm and waved his hands repeatedly: ”Chief Engineer Song Wen, you are too polite!”

Song Wen, however, disagreed and expressed his gratitude repeatedly: ”General Lin, if it weren’t for your 077 Machinery Military Factory, we don’t know when our J-10 fighter jet would be designed, manufactured, and start its first flight.”

The ”heart” of the J-10 fighter jet - the AL-31FN turbofan engine is also manufactured by the 077 Mechanical Military Factory.

Some accessories for the J-10 fighter jet are also supplied by the 077 Mechanical Military Factory.

”Lin boy, this way!”

A familiar voice sounded in Lin Chenran’s ears.

Lin Chenran turned around and saw that it was indeed the head of Yan State’s military equipment department, Mr. Wei, who was greeting him.

Lin Chenran strode forward and greeted him tactfully: ”Mr. Wei! Hello, leaders!”

After everyone greeted each other, they got straight to the point.

”The domestically produced third-generation fighter jet, the J-10, is finally about to make its maiden flight.”

A senior military leader of Yan State sighed deeply.

The Yan Country Air Force has been waiting for the third-generation fighter jets for a long time!

The Dragon Shadow fighter jets designed, developed, and manufactured by the 077 Mechanical Military Factory have not yet been equipped by Yan State.

The Dragon Shadow fighter jets will be supplied to Pakistan first.

The Yan State military only has a few Dragon Shadow fighter jets for daily training.

”The birth of the J-10 fighter jet will enable our air force to gain strength to counter air threats from other countries.”

Major powers all have third-generation fighter jets, and some have more than one, but multiple models!

The fighter jets in the hands of the Yan State military are still ”old antique” first-generation and second-generation fighter jets.

It is not even close to the advanced third-generation fighter jets.

The Yan State military still has a blank in the field of third-generation fighter jets. Now the birth of the J-10 fighter jet has filled this gap.

……

Everyone is looking forward to seeing the J-10 fighter jet.

Look, Song Wen brought everyone to a warehouse.

This warehouse is used to temporarily store J-10 fighter jets.

Soon the J-10 fighter jet will slowly drive out of this warehouse, conduct a test flight, and soar into the blue sky.
