Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1125: Power of Law

Nathan had been observing this whole time because he had a lot to think about. As expected, it looked like there was no other choice but to kill the singularity.

Nathan had roughly grasped the power level. The world class summoners were nowhere near Cthulhu’s level. However, Fenrir, who was known to be able to go to outer space to swallow the sun, should be considered a solar system level power.

However, those who had gone beyond that level would be considered a galaxy level power. They could travel freely around the galaxy or even visit another galaxy. It was no wonder that the aliens were talking about places so far away.

Nathan never expected the true gods to be at this level. Still, it made some sense. This might be the reason Zeus was said to be scared of Nyx. Nyx could simply whoop his ass if she wanted.

And the alien’s Outer Gods were at this level or even higher. And at the peak was Azathoth and the singularity.

“…” Nathan closed his eyes. He understood what kind of power he had to chase. He might have misunderstood the power system all this time.

While it was true that ena could be used to measure one’s level, one’s power increased exponentially instead of logarithmically. No, the ena might be on a logarithmic scale, but the strength was on an exponential scale.

Or that was what Nathan thought currently. If that was the case, the situation was rather simple.

Nathan asked, “And you don’t mind if we go to another continent and even ask for help from the chosen one of that continent to kill strong people on that continent?”

Cthulhu seemed to have expected this question from the beginning. “It doesn’t matter. Human matters shall be left to human hands, even if it leads to their doom.

“However, I have seen all your reactions, and I know that you might be reckless, but you are by no means fools. And that is enough for me to know everything is going to be alright.”

“We are reckless?” Nathan was amused by Cthulhu’s judgment.

Cthulhu simply explained, “Daring to meet me despite knowing who I am is reckless. Do you have any objections?”

“None.” There was no way to deny it. This was a gamble. Nathan simply believed the gamble would be worth it and had a high chance of success after learning it from Roggoth.

And it was indeed worth it. Although Cthulhu only provided information, Nathan could use this information to make himself grow stronger. Whether it was the divine beasts or the Soul Contracts, he could see the path to their growth.

Evelyn stepped forward. “What about our strength? While it’s true that we are strong to a certain extent, we are not strong enough to challenge them. How strong do we need to be to even challenge such a being?”

The answer was obvious. “You will need to become the same level as our gods if you want to challenge the singularity. After all, the singularity will also send the gods who have been controlled to you.”

“It will take a very long time.” Evelyn squinted her eyes.

“Indeed. It might take a long time, but the time has been reduced. I’m sure you know the reason.”

Evelyn nodded in agreement. “The volcanic eruption. Thanks to this disaster, the number of aliens coming to this world has increased drastically. The world might become more dangerous, but it is also giving us an opportunity.”

More aliens meant more cores to collect. If they took advantage of the cores properly, they could reach 100,000,000 ena.

That was why this era was probably their best chance of succeeding. Although Cthulhu didn’t say it or force Nathan, he must secretly wish Nathan to make that change.

Vivian remembered the lesson about godhood and asked, “How do you become beings equal to your gods? There’s no way it’s all about ena. While the current situation is an opportunity, if we don’t utilize it properly, it’s impossible to become as strong as you, right?”

She had already known the answer, but she wanted to confirm the information. Besides, Mae told them only a few requirements, as she also didn’t know the exact requirements.

In other words, they needed the requirement from either the gods that had been integrated into their worlds or Cthulhu.

Cthulhu looked amused. “I can’t tell you everything yet, not because I don’t want to, but because you are not qualified yet. Even if I tell you right now, it will just distract your mind.

“Instead, I will tell you the basic process.” Cthulhu raised three fingers. “Once you become as strong as this female summoner…”

Cthulhu’s finger first pointed at Evelyn. “There are three steps you need to take to become gods.

“The first one is to condense your power and turn it into law. The second is to infuse your mortal body with the power of law. The third is to form a divine body formed by the new power.”

“Law…” Nathan muttered before smiling wryly. “Why does this feel like cultivators?”

“Cultivators?” Evelyn and the others turned to Nathan.

“If I use the terminology from Fenrir’s myth, it will be divinity. If I have to borrow the terminology of Mae’s myth, it will be Dao.

“Dao, Divinity, Law, and other terminology must be describing the same thing. According to Mae, the cultivators are the people who go against the heavens by cultivating the Dao.”

They were astonished that Nathan knew all this. Vivian and Evelyn could only smile wryly, as they were aware of the true identity of his beasts.

Cthulhu didn’t deny it. “If that makes it easier for you to understand, then you can use any word according to your wish.

“What I harness is the Law of Fear. For most of you, it must be hard to even stand in front of me. In fact, if normal humans stand before me, they will die from that fear.”

“!!!” Bella and the others remembered why Nathan dispelled the fear in their hearts by using Mae’s illusion. It was to save them.

“The law doesn’t need to be complicated. If you can describe your law in a single word, like my Law of Fear, that is enough too. As for the law itself…”
