Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1101: Vivian’s Misunderstanding

”To put it simply, the Outer Gods are considered the most powerful. Meanwhile, the Great Old Ones are immensely powerful but ultimately lesser beings. From the description alone, they’re like Mae and the others compared to the true gods.”

Once Nathan made such a statement, Evelyn and Vivian felt goosebumps. Humanity was doomed. They didn’t even realize they were fighting against such a powerful enemy. There was no way the humans could win.

’If that’s the case, the dream might not be wrong at all...’ Vivian noticed something. Originally, the dream Nathan had was a bit too far-fetched. On the one hand, the dream was terrifying and sounded like a prophecy. On the other hand, 1,000 elite class aliens? Who could believe it?

They rarely found the elite class aliens. Even with the increase of the elite class aliens they had experienced lately, it didn’t change the fact that the number didn’t justify the 1,000 aliens prediction.

Hence, Vivian always thought the dream was combined with Nathan’s fear, which resulted in a nightmare.

Even if Nathan’s prediction came true, the number would be reduced significantly.

However, her thoughts changed the moment she learned about the Outer Gods. If there were indeed such a being, one thousand elite class aliens sounded like they were just a normal dream.

What if an outer god attacked them? There was no way humanity could resist them. That was why there must be a situation going on with the alien race.

For some reason, the alien race kept them alive. It might even be an internal conflict.

Once her thought reached this point, she finally realized that Nathan must have considered all this and thought everything was true from the beginning. That was why he desperately wanted to enhance everyone’s strength.

It was a huge matter. Nathan had an innate ability that went beyond everyone’s logic. Facing such a hard task, Nathan must have known that it was impossible for him alone to handle it.

In other words, Nathan also needed his own army. Still, explaining everything to so many people and convincing them were practically impossible. People would simply think of him as crazy.

Hence, Nathan chose not to eat everything by himself. With the Soul Contract, she had no doubt that Nathan could become Elysion Aquamoon by himself. Even without her protection, he could grow just fine.

However, he chose to share that power with the girls. This way, he had at least an elite group that could resist together with him. Even if it wasn’t enough, he could somehow make an impact.

Knowing Nathan, working together with aliens might be possible.

If Nathan hadn’t shown such a remarkable mind, she wouldn’t think Nathan was capable of creating such a plan. But Nathan had again and again proved he was capable of creating such a plan.

In other words, the hypothesis in her mind was most likely true. Nathan always told her that he wanted a harem because he wanted a family. But Nathan might have just wanted an elite group under the pretense of family.

And with that disguise, no one suspected anything about his true plan.

Vivian’s heart felt like it had been gripped by a hand. The burden Nathan had been enduring this whole time was so huge. Even with all the misunderstanding, he persisted and continued.

It looked like she had wronged him the whole time. At the same time, Bella’s words resurfaced again. If Nathan protected the world under the disguise of creating a harem, wouldn’t it be better for her to join it?

If she had arrived at this thought one month ago, she would have slapped herself, thinking she had gone astray. But because of Bella, she had become a bit too conscious of Nathan.

”...” Vivian could only remain silent as she continued to fall into her overthinking.

Meanwhile, Evelyn couldn’t help but ask, ”If there is such an existence, how can we humans face them?”

Nathan shook his head. ”I haven’t formed a concrete plan in my mind. I might be able to form something as long as we can meet that alien.”

”Figure out what the aliens have in store. Cthulhu, huh?” Evelyn nodded in understanding. It was no wonder Nathan was adamant about finding this alien. ”I understand. I guarantee you that the expedition will be a success.”

”Thank you.” Nathan nodded with a smile. ”Anyway, the existence of the Great Old Ones is something that no one can withstand.”

”Fair point.” Evelyn crossed her arms. At the last moment of her fight against Garam, she combined both her elements to create such a powerful ability.

At the same time, Mae told her that condensing her divinity and forming her godhood could only happen after she combined her two elements.

One month had passed since that day. The contract had worn off, and her elements returned to normal.

Fortunately, the effect of the contract lingered. Although she was still having a hard time, the conflict between the two elements had lessened due to her control. There were also various tricks she had been wanting to try.

After knowing their enemies, she felt like it was the best time to focus on her element’s harmony.

Nevertheless, the target this time was a Great Old One. It should be an alpha class alien. A normal alpha class alien was equal to a world class summoner in a one-on-one battle. But from Mae’s description, this was not a normal alpha class. Its strength was near the apex class alien.

If that was the case, there was no way Evelyn could face off against such an enemy.

In that case, there was only one thing she should focus on. Nathan had been giving her weird insight. She realized this after agreeing to train him.

Although she had been teaching him a lot of things regarding micro control and magic, Nathan told her about weird knowledge. The fusion of the space and gravity domains came from that weird knowledge.

Nathan might be the key to speeding up her progress. That was why Evelyn asked, ”Come to my room later.”

”...”

”...”

Both Nathan and Vivian were dumbfounded for a moment, as if they didn’t believe what Evelyn had just said.

”W-What?!”
