Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1117: Godlike Being?

Azilia Kingdom.

Three of the strongest people in the kingdom—Duke Coline, Sage Leyfon, and Snowfall Nash—assembled in the royal palace.

Even though Leyfon wasn’t affiliated directly with the Azilia Kingdom, they were still pretty close. He even cooperated on a lot of things.

The reason for their gathering was none other than the incident that had happened a moment ago. The three world class summoners immediately headed to the royal palace and woke up everyone to convene a meeting.

All the people were dispatched through the teleportation circle, gathering all high-level nobles in the kingdom.

Julius furrowed his eyebrows. ”So, you three felt a terrifying presence two hours ago?”

”If it were just me, I would probably just report it and return. But...” Nash glanced at the other two. Because he wasn’t alone, it was clear that something was going on.

Duke Coline nodded. ”It looks like the three of us felt the same thing.”

Surprisingly, the prime minister added, ”Your Majesty. According to our spies, other kingdoms are having a similar meeting.”

Julius raised his eyebrows. ”I see. Other kingdoms sensed the same thing. What kind of presence is it?”

Leyfon explained, ”It’s hard to describe. However, this presence can give us a sense of fear. I’m afraid it is a being surpassing anything we’ve seen so far.”

”Even the elite class alien?”

”Yes.”

”!!!” The people were stunned. Was there such a being in their world? Why were they not aware of such existence the whole time?

They couldn’t give an answer, but if there was indeed such a being, it was definitely terrifying.

”Still, why only you three? If we’re talking about world class summoners, there are others, no?”

They exchanged looks before Duke Coline answered, ”It seems only those whose perception is strong sense it. Other world class summoners like the Sword Saint might have powerful might, but our perceptions are better.”

The king’s face darkened. ”You have more knowledge in this area. What do you think we’re supposed to do? Where is this terrifying existence?”

”We haven’t located that entity. However, I don’t think it’s near us. After all, we sense it beyond the Land of Death. Still, even though it’s beyond us, it doesn’t mean we’re not threatened. There’s a chance it will come to us as well.” Nash shook his head helplessly.

Julius gritted his teeth. ”We need to prepare a countermeasure. Marquis—!”

As he was about to call someone, an old man suddenly stormed into the room.

”Emergency!”

”What are you doing?”

”Do you know what we’re doing?”

Several people turned around. Some tried to protect the king, while some tried to stop the old man, thinking it was an attack. The atmosphere became even more anxious, causing them to react excessively.

However, the king waved his hand and shouted, ”Stop it. What’s going on?”

After they stepped down, the old man hurriedly reported, ”Thank you, Your Majesty. I’ve just received a report. Elysion Aquamoon has entered the capital city through the teleportation circle.”

”What? Elysion Aquamoon?”

”What is he doing here?”

”Is he the culprit?”

”We can’t let this go!”

The people were even more agitated. The strongest summoner in the world—that title wasn’t just for show. With his strength, he could easily sneak into one of their cities and use the teleportation circle to bring him here thanks to the teleportation network.

However, this would be considered a transgression. Since the other party dared to attack their territory, they had to retaliate.

Fortunately, the king remained as careful as usual. He asked, ”What does he want?”

”He... wanted me to relay his message. After that, he left.”

”A message?” The people’s rage turned into confusion. Some speculated Elysion Aquamoon was trying to explain himself in this incident. Some still felt offended by what he had done.

Their thoughts changed once again after they listened to the message.

”That is a godlike being. The location is across the sea. The direction is northeast. The threat hasn’t been confirmed.”

The people were staring at the old man with their eyes open wide. It was no wonder they were dumbfounded. There were only four short sentences in that message. They contained all the information they needed, but the information was too absurd for them to consider.

”Did he say all that?”

”What is a godlike being?”

”It’s across the sea? Is it on another continent? We’ve just realized there’s another land aside from us, and now it’s already stirring something like this?”

”The northeast? What’s in there? We have to investigate it right away.”

”But it might not be a threat...”

”It’s not confirmed. We have to confirm the threat.”

The people panicked. Just a godlike being alone was already beyond them. At the same time, most people would agree it was a god-like being. None of the world class summoners were capable of sending their power this far.

Amidst their confusion, there was actually one person who seemed to be deep in thought, as if she recalled certain information.

”Northeast... Across the sea...”

Julius seemed to notice her different reaction and asked, ”Do you have an opinion, Duchess Rena?”

”!!!” The people shifted their gazes to Duchess Rena.

As someone who had been living by the sea, she obviously had heard a lot about the ocean. But something big just happened not long ago. And that was Nathan.

Duchess Rena was startled but soon glanced around. If she revealed it right away, it would look extremely suspicious. Besides, it might cause unnecessary reactions.

So, Duchess Rena stepped forth and said, ”I might have a clue.”

”!!!” The night was full of surprises. They thought the biggest surprise would be the godlike being, but it turned out to be Duchess Rena, who claimed to have an idea of what was happening.

”However, I may have to return first to confirm it. Will that be alright, Your Majesty?”

”What is your suspicion?”

Since the king was pressing the matter and Rena didn’t want to cause trouble for Flora and Nathan, she lied, ”As you are already aware, my territory was hit by an elite class alien not long ago. We’ve been investigating the ruins. That’s why I need to return to confirm my suspicion before submitting my statement.

”Duke Coline. You’ve helped me take down the elite class alien. How about coming with me?”

Duke Coline hesitated and asked the king’s permission.

After some thoughts, Julius announced, ”We don’t have a lot of information right now. However, even if it’s not a threat, it’s something we have to look for. You may go and confirm the truth. I expect the rest of you to work tirelessly to come up with a possible solution with the little information we have right now.”
