Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1118: Not Worried About Nathan?

“So, what is this clue you have in mind? To even hide it from His Majesty…” Duke Coline asked.

Rena didn’t say anything yet as they entered the teleportation circle. To Coline’s surprise, the destination of their teleportation was not her territory. Instead, it was the nearest teleportation circle to Nathan’s city.

“Huh?” Duke Coline frowned. Since he had visited Nathan before, he obviously recognized this place. “What are we doing here?”

Rena sighed. “Haven’t you figured it out already?”

The moment he heard that question, everything clicked in his mind. “Don’t tell me… This has something to do with that kid?”

“It might be. He had asked me for a ship previously, and it looked like they had departed about one week ago. Although I don’t know where they’re going, Nathan was staring at the north a lot during his visit.”

“Are you serious…” Coline smiled wryly.

“I don’t know whether my hunch is correct or not. That’s why we come here.”

“We have to confirm it, huh?”

The two could only sigh. Considering Nathan had left, the one who knew everything about him was Vivian. However, Vivian left with Nathna, so they had no choice but to ask Selena.

Either way, they first visited Flora, whom they knew a lot about. This was another reason Rena brought Duke Coline. The two of them were Flora’s helpers. Rena wanted to bring Leyfon, but that would make it a bit too obvious.

Nash, on the other hand, was the current head of the Royal Inquisitor. So, his loyalty was toward the kingdom. If he knew about it, Nash might invoke his special right and cause another mess.

If Nathan found out about it later, their relationship with him might turn sour at that time. Hence, Duchess Rena arranged it in a way where they could find some clues without causing unnecessary problems.

It took them a few minutes to reach Flora’s house. Flora was actually surprised to find them here.

“May I know what brings you here, Aunt, Duke?” Flora furrowed her eyebrows, sitting across from them. Noelle also woke up due to their presence and currently sat down next to Flora. Although she was a princess, she, too, had been accepted by Nathan, so her status was equal to Flora’s in the household.

“Let me explain.” Duke Coline took the initiative to explain. He began with the sudden sensation that could be felt across the four kingdoms. Even Flora and Noelle didn’t expect Nathan would get involved in such a matter.

But for some reason, neither of them was anxious. They should be worried if Nathan is in danger. After all, he would be facing a godlike being.

“Are you not worried?” Rena couldn’t contain her curiosity.

“Worried, huh? Of course, we’re worried. However, Nathan is not in danger.” Flora shook her head. “I can’t tell you how we know it, but it’s the fact. If Nathan had indeed encountered such a being, he would have died.

“Besides, your explanation reminds me of something. How much do you know about Nathan’s exploration, Aunt?”

“Not much.” Rena shook her head.

“In that case, it’s better to follow me. It’s not something I can reveal easily. Besides, if it’s about his matter, Selena knows it more than I do.”

Duchess Rena and Duke Coline exchanged nods. They followed Flora, disturbing Selena late at night.

Duke Coline repeated the explanation. Selena instantly understood what was going on and why Flora had chosen to consult her.

“I see…” Selena contemplated for a few minutes before nodding to Flora. “Go on. Tell them about that alien. I will take responsibility.”

“That alien?”

Flora smiled at their confused faces. “This conversation will last quite long.”

“We have all the time we need.”

Flora nodded and began recounting the information. “Do you know that the alien was actually the source of our summoning power?”

“!!!” Duchess Rena’s body shook while Duke Coline gasped. “Are you serious? I’m already old. My heart can’t take this kind of joke anymore…”

“I’m serious. We’ve been searching for clues regarding the aliens. We’ve found out that the aliens might not be good, but they aren’t supposed to attack us. Instead, it’s the black cell that is aggressive.

“They cause the aliens to lose their minds and attack all kinds of predators that can threaten them.

“However, the alien race, which hasn’t been affected by the black cell, is resisting. They sent aliens into our world—intelligent aliens.

“One of those aliens helped Hero Mikhail Havengard. Through him, humanity learned the summoning power.

“And we encountered that very alien when we raided the Divine Hand Organization. I will skip the details about the Divine Hand Organization, but to put it simply, they were also used by this alien so that it could meet Nathan.

“Don’t ask me why the alien wants to meet Nathan, because the only ones who knew about it were Nathan, the alien, and Evelyn Reckmoon.

“Nathan must have learned something from the alien. Originally, their target was another continent called Erendtall, where the people who caused the Bloody Banquet came from.

“But according to Lilith, Selena’s familiar, they were trying to go to the North Pole as well. I don’t know what kind of place it is, but the North Pole is known to be the northernmost part of this world.

“Since the direction was northeast of this land, it might be something on the North Pole. In other words, Nathan might have something to do with it.

“Still, we’re talking about the intelligent alien’s clue. It might be something related to the other four intelligent aliens in this world.

“If I were Nathan, I would definitely want to know more about the alien world through this alien.”

Rena and Coline were dumbfounded. They were not sure whether they were ready to take this kind of information or not. But how come every big mess was related to Nathan recently?

“What am I supposed to report here?” Rena let out a long sigh.

“You should probably report it as it is, but only to several people, such as His Majesty, the prime minister, and several other related personnel. We don’t want this information to spread until we confirm everything. Besides, the fact that we can feel this means the sea expedition is a success.” Coline scratched the back of his head.

“There’s something I’d like to add,” Selena raised two fingers. “I don’t know what’s going on, but would you like to know two things I know about Nathan?”

“Very much so.” Rena and Coline nodded.

“First of all, Nathan has never picked a fight he can’t win. If he chooses to meet that alien, he must have at least a way to escape. He might even win in an argument.”

“That’s… very much like him.” Flora smiled wryly.

“Secondly, Nathan is not the type of person who takes a loss. He’s out there, probably trying to outsmart the alien. I am more worried about the existence of an alien that can shapeshift into a beautiful woman than Nathan getting taken advantage of by a powerful alien.” Selena shook her head helplessly.
