Chapter 34: The complicated situation on the Blue Water PlanetChapter 34: The complicated situation on the Blue Water Planet
He Mingxuan never expected that after tricking him once, this bastard Luo Xia would actually make another critical hit.

He originally thought that this old classmate of Rorschach was just coming in to say hello to Rorschach, and at most add him as a Fetion friend before leaving.

But it turned out that he was too naive!!

Su Xueqi had no intention of leaving at all. She just sat on the armrest of Luo Xia’s sofa chair and chatted with Luo Xia in a random manner. This made him, a virgin solo player, feel very uncomfortable!
So before lunch time, he was ready to retreat. With a look of grief and indignation on his face, he said to Rorschach, ”Then you two can chat here slowly. I didn’t sleep well last night and my ears hurt. I’m going home to rest first!”

”Will your ears hurt if you don’t sleep well?” Rorschach asked in surprise.

”It’s just an eye sore! It doesn’t matter! Goodbye!”

After saying that, He Mingxuan took the cup of soy milk that he had not finished drinking and left the box with an air of being as cold as the wind and the water.

”Tsk, boss, you really have a bad taste.” After He Mingxuan left, Su Xueqi completely let go of her pretentious attitude.

Although she and Rorschach have only known each other for a short time, their relationship is so close that it is no exaggeration to say that they depend on each other for life and death.

This was determined by objective factors, and she herself was quite satisfied with the result, so she naturally adapted quickly.

”Isn’t this just taking care of our own people? He now knows our Vice President Su, so we can’t just not show any appreciation at all, right?” Luo Xia said with a smile.

”So you were waiting for me here.”

Su Xueqi chuckled and said, ”Whether to express it or not is up to you, boss. I dare not disobey your order.”

”Since I joined the company, I’ve heard that Vice President Su is an icy beauty who never smiles. I’m not used to you being like this.”

”They are just rumors. I guess it’s because I rarely show up in the company and I don’t have many acquaintances, so naturally I don’t talk much.”

Su Xueqi sat in the seat before He Mingxuan, turned sideways and held her chin with both hands to look at Luo Xia, and asked in her mind, ”So, after you came back yesterday, Gao Tianlin came to see you again?”

When it comes to matters concerning the Substitute, she naturally chooses to communicate in the most secure way, even if someone is eavesdropping.

Su Xueqi called Luo Xia yesterday, but Luo Xia said that he was not available because he had just finished meeting with ”friends”.

At that time, Su Xueqi guessed that this so-called ”friend” must be Gao Tianlin, the seventh gentleman of the Gentlemen’s Club.

Luo Xia had told her some things about Gao Tianlin before, so it was not difficult for her to guess what happened yesterday.

”No, he came directly from my balcony, but he acted very kindly, like an old senior who cares about a newbie.” Luo Xia half leaned on the sofa and said in his mind, ”He also criticized Yanlong for a long time. I guess he was afraid that I would take the initiative to contact Yanlong’s people and ruin his good deeds.”

”Haha, that fits his identity.” Su Xueqi sneered twice. ”Although the Gentlemen’s Club claims to be an organization without borders, and its core members do come from different regions, everyone knows that their relationship with the Freedom Alliance is complicated and can be traced back thousands of years.”

”You mean, the gentleman’s club is also considered a semi-official background?” Luo Xia heard some of Su Xueqi’s hidden meaning.

”Maybe not to that extent, but compared to some real international underground organizations, their stance is clearly more biased.”

Su Xueqi shook her head and said, ”This position has both advantages and disadvantages for them. The advantage is that they can cooperate with ’Freedom Wings’ on some things, but the disadvantage is that they can’t be like our company, where they put their own interests first and dare to challenge anyone no matter who the opponent is.”

Rorschach nodded in understanding.

The Wings of Freedom is actually the official replacement organization of the Freedom Alliance. Su Xueqi had mentioned this when she introduced the Seven Majors to him.

The seven major political systems on the Blue Water Planet are: the Great Yan Ancient Kingdom, the Golden Eagle Federation, the Arctic Empire, the Maurya Dynasty, the Freedom Alliance, the Pharaoh Alliance, and the Yin Yang Island, which was established the latest.

The reason why Rorschach initially thought that Water Blue Planet was a parallel world of his previous life was because the two worlds had many similarities, even the language, culture, etc. were almost the same, but there were some differences in the direction of development.

If we compare it horizontally with the previous life, the Great Yan Ancient Country naturally corresponds to his motherland in the previous life, but the territory is wider. The Golden Eagle Federation corresponds to the world’s first superpower, the Extreme Cold Empire is in the north of Great Yan, and the Maurya Dynasty was once colonized by the Free Alliance, which was originally the ancestor of the Golden Eagle Federation.

As for the Pharaoh’s Alliance, it has a long history just like the ancient country of Dayan.

Only Yin Yang Island was established the latest among the seven political systems, has the smallest population, and is also the one with relatively the weakest national strength.

It has two main ethnic groups, one is the Sakurajima people who have lived on Yin Yang Island since ancient times, and the other is the exiled Kimchi clan. Both of these main ethnic groups have old ties with the ancient country of Dayan and highly respect the Yin Yang philosophy, so they eventually formed Yin Yang Island and became one of the seven major political systems.

Among the seven major political systems today, the two strongest ones are undoubtedly the Ancient Kingdom of Great Yan and the Golden Eagle Federation, which are basically in a state of competing with each other.

The relationship between them is also complicated. Although some of them have become closer, there is no substantive alliance relationship.

Compared to the previous life, the situation on the Blue Water Planet is actually more complicated.

In addition, with the influence of the Spirit of Origin, aristocratic families and thousand-year-old clans that once went behind the scenes have returned to the stage, and even some powerful individual forces can influence the situation to a certain extent.

Obviously, this is the beginning of a world of great contention!
The real change has yet to come.

Luo Xia originally thought that Gao Tianlin was pulling down Yanlong simply because he was afraid that he would come into contact with Yanlong’s people, but now it seems that it is not that simple.

The Gentlemen’s Club’s stance was clearly against Dayan’s.

In other words, Gao Tianlin himself is not welcomed by the officials of Dayan, and he most likely used a fake identity to enter Dayan this time.

”Do you think it would be feasible if we report him anonymously?” Rorschach asked suddenly.

After thinking for a while, Su Xueqi shook her head and said, ”It’s better not to do this. Although the officials of Da Yan don’t like him, they still have to follow the rules. Unless he takes the initiative to cause trouble in Da Yan, even if Yanlong finds his trace, the most he can do is expel him from the country.”

”It seems there is no way to be lazy.” Rorschach stretched and said.

He just said it casually and didn’t really hold any hope.

According to Su Xueqi, even if he really reported Gao Tianlin, Yanlong would most likely not do anything to Gao Tianlin directly given his style.

If that were the case, even if Gao Tianlin had no evidence to prove that he did it, he would definitely list him as one of the suspects.

What he might have to face by then might be revenge from the entire gentlemen’s club, which would be much more troublesome than dealing with Gao Tianlin alone.

Of course he would not do such a thing as shooting himself in the foot.

”So what should we do next?” Su Xueqi asked.

”Go get some fruit.” Rorschach thought for a moment and said.

”Ok??”

Su Xueqi couldn’t quite follow Rorschach’s train of thought.

”Prepare some fruits for your visit. You can’t come empty-handed. This is our traditional virtue. We must not forget our roots.” Rorschach shrugged.

”...?”
