Chapter 25: Confusion and Tricks, Rorschach's AttemptChapter 25: Confusion and Tricks, Rorschach’s Attempt
Although Rorschach and his companions disappeared from the eyes of the rest of the caravan, in their own senses, the caravan members were still behind them.

Obviously, it is the eerie realm that causes sensory interference to those in it, which leads to some confused and contradictory cognition.

However, these distractions don’t seem to work well for Ah Dai.

Because it was just charging straight towards the direction where the howling came from, and in a flash it carried the two of them to the source of the sound. As the distance got closer, Rorschach and the others finally saw the person who was howling.

”Old Neil?”

Su Xueqi recognized the man; he was one of the people who had disappeared before.

However, the other party’s current state seemed a little strange. He just had his back to the two of them, and even when there was movement behind him, he had no intention of turning around.

Just as Su Xueqi was about to call out to the other person, Luo Xia put a hand on her shoulder and shook his head at her.

Although she didn’t understand the reason, Su Xueqi still decisively followed Luo Xia’s advice and did not act rashly.

What she didn’t know was that what Rorschach saw at this moment was a completely different picture from what she saw:
”Name: Old Neil (The Confusion of Weirdness)”

”Race: Humanity (ghostly)”

”Ability: Basic Combat Lv.1 (Confusion Field)”

”Hint 1: What appears before you is just one of the most common ghosts in the gray area. You can also think of it as a small minion among the ghosts. As long as you don’t actively communicate with it, you won’t trigger its attack rules.”

”Hint 2: Confusion only affects the senses”

……

It is not difficult to see from the prompt of the Trash Talk Eye that Old Neil has been possessed by a ghost at this time, and this ghost is called ”Confusion Ghost”.

Although in the description of Trash Talk Eyes, this Confusion Ghost is just one of the most common ghosts in the Gray Domain and is a minor minion among the ghosts, how could Rorschach take it lightly because of such a description?

Even the weakest ghost is extremely threatening to those below the gold level, and one can die on the spot if one is not careful.

However, it must be said that this time the Eyes of Trash Talk was still very powerful, and basically revealed all the secrets of this Confused Weirdness.

The two most useful pieces of information are:

The first is that the triggering condition for the attack of the Confusion Ghost is any form of communication with it, which probably includes language or actions.

If Su Xueqi had called out Old Neil’s name just now, it would have most likely triggered the conditions for being attacked.

Old Neil must have triggered this condition before, and then he was attacked by the Confusion Ghost, and directly became its carrier.

The second one is about the loophole in the rules of confusion and weirdness.

Although the Eyes of Trash Talk did not directly give a method for escaping from the realm of confusion, the last hint indirectly pointed it out.

The reason why they were stuck in place and spinning was because their senses were completely confused by the confusion area, and the senses here should include all five senses, not just visual confusion.

Therefore, if you want to escape from the realm of confusion and weirdness, you must find a way to overcome this interference.

”He has been possessed by the ghost. Do not have any form of communication with him, otherwise you will be attacked.”

Luo Xia reminded Su Xueqi in his mind, patted Ah Dai under him, and urged him in a low voice, ”Return the way you came, let’s go——”

After receiving the order, Ah Dai immediately turned around and left with the two of them.

”Miss Stephanie…Miss Stephanie?”

As soon as Ah Dai turned around with the two of them, Su Xueqi heard Old Neil’s voice calling from behind, and it seemed as if he was right next to her ear. She subconsciously wanted to turn back, but Rorschach’s voice suddenly rang in her mind: ”Have you forgotten what I just said to you?!”

This low shout woke Su Xueqi up suddenly!
She suddenly realized that Old Neil had met with an accident a long time ago, but she had somehow forgotten about it when she heard the call just now!

She was just a little bit away from turning back.

Recalling what Rorschach had reminded her before, she could not have any form of communication with ’Old Neil’ at this time, otherwise she would also be attacked by the ghost.

If she really looked back, it would definitely be considered a response to the call.

By then, even if she would not die completely as Rorschach’s knight squire, she would most likely die here today.

This made her suddenly feel scared!
Rorschach was actually very calm at this time, because when he understood that the trouble with the confusion was the interference and confusion of the senses, he suddenly had a bold idea, that is, could he use the power of Purgatory to resist this interference?
He was not sure at first, but when he gathered the power of purgatory into his ears, he immediately noticed the changes!
Although he could hear Old Neil’s shouts, there was a harsh noise mixed in with the shouts.

This made him completely unaware of the sound, and he could immediately realize that it was the Confusion Ghost that was causing trouble.

So he woke up Su Xueqi immediately.

After realizing that this method was useful, Luo Xia immediately said to Su Xueqi in his mind: ”Use the power of Purgatory to resist interference!”

”Yes!” Su Xueqi immediately understood.

The power of Purgatory that she could mobilize was indeed not much, but it was enough for her to temporarily protect one of her ears from being disturbed by the confusion.

Just like that, the two of them quickly returned in Ah Dai.

It is worth mentioning that Ah Dai did not seem to be completely affected by the confusion from beginning to end, or it could be said that it could resist some interference.

This is also the reason why it can immediately detect something wrong around it and emit a series of low humming sounds to alert Rorschach.

”Ms. Stephanie, Mr. Rorschach, are you okay?” Everyone in the caravan was excited to see the two return safely.

Because in their eyes, the two people just disappeared.

I don’t know why I returned safely.

”Tell them to stay quiet and stay where they are. Don’t communicate with anyone until the main group sets out together.”

Luo Xia reminded Su Xueqi in his mind at this time, and Su Xueqi also understood the reason why Luo Xia made such arrangements, and immediately issued orders to everyone.

The people in the caravan did not understand the reason for doing this, but they did not ask much, because Su Xueqi’s identity was more than enough to issue orders.

Rorschach was not idle either, and started a new attempt, which was to try to transfer the power of purgatory to his own eyes!

Although the Trash Talk Eyes have incredible observation powers, they cannot seem to directly resist interference, but the Power of Purgatory can!

So, what changes will occur if the power of Purgatory is concentrated on the Eyes of Trash Talk?

He had never tried this before, but because of the previous situation, he suddenly had an idea and wanted to see if the collision between the two would produce different sparks.

Of course, he tried to be very careful, and if he felt any discomfort he would stop the action immediately.

But the process went much smoother than he expected.

Moreover, there were changes that he had never expected!
