Chapter 16: Brother-in-law's FantasyChapter 16: Brother-in-law’s Fantasy
”Meet Stephanie Knight!”

Clauser saluted his little sister in a proper manner.

”Stop it, brother.” Su Xueqi looked at her cheap brother who was acting weird with some helplessness.

After successfully fusing her blood, she has become a Black Iron Knight.

Although she is definitely not as strong as her cheap brother Clause, her talent is far superior to Clause’s. Her future will definitely be smoother than Clause’s, and Clause is also very clear about this.

That’s why he had such high expectations for Su Xueqi.

Even though they had only taken the first step, it already meant that their branch now had two Black Iron Knights!
In the future, you will definitely have a greater say in the family.

”Don’t worry, little sister. In a few years, I will start preparing to run for the clan elder. I will definitely pave the way for you in the future...” Clauser made plans with excitement, imagining the bright future of the brother and sister.

”Let’s talk about that later... Actually, I don’t plan to return to my family with the caravan this time.” Su Xueqi hesitated.

”What’s wrong? Did something happen?” When Claus heard that his younger sister didn’t want to return to the family, he suddenly became restless.

”Nothing happened. After arriving at the Mountain Capital, I wanted to try to find Rorschach...”

”Damn it!” Before his sister could finish her words, Claus cursed, ”That boy looked quite honest, but he stole your heart with just a few words. No, I have to settle the score with him!”

Su Xueqi didn’t stop him and just looked at him silently.

When Claus walked to the entrance of the tent, he was suddenly stuck there, as if he was blocked by an invisible wall of air.

After a long while, he turned around with a resentful look on his face and said, ”Aren’t you going to help my brother?”

”Aren’t you going to settle the score with him? Go ahead.” Su Xueqi made a gesture of invitation.

”My teacher is a bronze knight, am I going to get killed?” Claus rolled his eyes. ”Wait, you can’t be thinking that, so you can live with that brat forever, right?!”

”Did you figure this out?” Su Xueqi smiled slightly.

”I won’t live any longer. Believe it or not, I will hit my head and die in ...”

”Okay, stop messing around, okay? You know I’m not that kind of person.” Su Xueqi shook her head and said, ”Actually, I’m just trying it out. I’m not sure whether Senior Arthur is willing to accept me as his disciple.”

”So you want to become my disciple?” Claus reacted.

”What else?” Su Xueqi said unhappily.

”Why didn’t you tell me earlier? You scared me!” Clauser straightened his appearance and regained his previous calm demeanor. ”But why did you suddenly want to become my disciple? Although Senior Arthur is a bronze knight, the clan leader is also a bronze knight. Are you afraid that no one will guide you if you stay in the clan?”

”It’s not that simple. Senior Arthur should have found the final step. This time he went to the Mountain Capital to stay temporarily just to wait for the final opportunity. He no longer needs to continue practicing hard to find the direction.” Su Xueqi murmured.

”hiss!”

Claus was also surprised by the news.

Of course, he couldn’t tell the difference in strength between the bronze knights. Not to mention him, even if two bronze knights didn’t fight each other, it would be difficult to tell how far the other had gone.

But if the situation is really as my younger sister said, the possibility of Senior Arthur breaking through to the silver level is probably not low.

If only my little sister could become a disciple of a Silver Knight...

When Clause thought of this possibility, his heart beat faster!

”I have to try. Even if I fail to become his disciple, it would be good to have some relationship with that little brother Rorschach!” Claus slapped his thigh.

”Aren’t you going to settle the score with them?” Su Xueqi asked.

”Settling accounts? Why are you settling accounts in the middle of the night? Stop talking nonsense. You just successfully melted your blood and need to rest. Go to bed early. I’m leaving first.”

Claus left the tent without looking back.

...the next day.

”What a coincidence, little brother Rorschach, you have also succeeded in blood fusion?” Claus was surprised when he learned that Rorschach had also become a new Black Iron Knight.

”Also?” Rorschach noticed Clauser’s choice of words.

”Stephanie also successfully melted her blood last night. You two are really destined to meet.” Clauser said in amazement.

At the same time, successful blood fusion is indeed rare, and this is not his deliberate exaggeration, although he does have his own little thoughts.

”How could it be such a coincidence?”

Rorschach couldn’t help but be a little surprised when he heard this.

He chose to melt his blood last night because Rex had just handed over to him the things that his cheap father Zeus left him yesterday.

Why did Su Xueqi do that?
Melting blood in this remote wilderness, even with someone guarding her, would not be any safer than melting blood in Rock City.

What a coincidence, it also happened last night.

This made Rorschach think more.

”Where is she? Is it convenient for me to see her now?” Rorschach asked.

”It’s convenient, definitely convenient, follow me.” Upon hearing this, Clauser led the way without any hesitation.

In his opinion, it was obvious that his little sister had already bewitched this little brother Rorschach, so how could he, as the future brother-in-law, not cooperate?

If Senior Arthur really succeeds in breaking through, then Rorschach will be a disciple of the Silver Knight. If he can become a pair with my little sister, that would be great!
To put it another way, even if Senior Arthur failed to become a Silver Knight in the end, Rorschach’s own conditions were excellent.

He became a Black Iron Knight at such a young age and was valued so much by Senior Arthur. It would be no problem for him to become a Bronze Knight in the future.

If he gets together with his younger sister, and both of them become Bronze Knights in the future, then he, as the brother-in-law, will be able to walk around freely in Rock City, right?
When thinking about these possibilities, Claus almost drooled.

”Hey……”

”Brother Claus, are you okay?” Rorschach couldn’t help but ask as he looked at Claus, whose shoulders were shaking slightly.

”No, it’s okay.” Claus shook his head repeatedly.

What could possibly happen to him? I’m so happy!

However, in order to avoid being too obvious and thus embarrassing his little sister, he immediately adjusted his mood and took the initiative to remind her when he came to the outside of Su Xueqi’s tent:

”Little sister, Rorschach is here to see you, come out quickly——”

”I’ll come right away.”

Su Xueqi’s somewhat surprised voice came from inside.

Soon, she had tidied her appearance and walked out.

At this time, Luo Xia’s eyes also appeared with her changed information:
「Name: Stephanie Burton (Su Xueqi)」

”Race: Humanity, Rock Turtle Bloodline (Alienation)”

”Ability: Rock Turtle Bodybuilding Technique Lv.1”

”Hint 1: This unlucky child was affected by the aura of purgatory when you were melting blood, and she also melted blood at the same time, which caused the aura of purgatory to be contaminated in her blood. If nothing unexpected happens, she will not live long.”

”Hint 2: You could be the accident... After all, as a Purgatory Knight, how can you be without a squire, right?”
