Chapter 9 Gray Territory, Three Empires!Chapter 9 Gray Territory, Three Great Empires!
When Rex brought Rorschach to the camp and revealed his identity as an ascetic knight, and took the initiative to show off his skills to make the leader of the caravan realize that this was actually a bronze knight, all problems were no longer a problem.

Because if a Bronze Knight really had ill intentions towards them, he would not need to disguise himself and could just take action directly.

The ’Iron Wall Chamber of Commerce’ to which this caravan belonged was only a medium-sized chamber of commerce, and its president was also a bronze knight.

But they were just a small caravan under the Guild of Commerce, so it was impossible for the president to follow them in person. The strongest person in the caravan was only a Black Iron Knight, who couldn’t even put up a decent resistance against the Bronze Knight.

If that’s the case, then why should we be suspicious?

”If I’m not mistaken, the Bronze Knight should correspond to the ordinary Lv. 2 level in the Garbage Eye judgment, which is the current level of Gao Tianlin... Tsk, it’s really impressive.” After seeing the deterrent power of the Bronze Knight to this ordinary small caravan, Rorschach had a more intuitive understanding of the strength of the man in the top hat.

The man in the top hat didn’t tell him much about the Blood Knights, but he did give him a rough idea of the level of the Blood Knights.

Generally speaking, the levels of Blood Knights from low to high are: Black Iron Knight, Bronze Knight, Silver Knight, and the higher Gold Knight!
Combining what I have seen and heard, as well as some information provided by the Trash Talk Eyes, the Black Iron Knight should correspond to the Lv. 1 level.

Rorschach could also confirm this from the leader of this small caravan, the only Black Iron Knight:
”Name: Clauser Burton”

”Race: Humanity, Rock Turtle Bloodline”

”Ability: Rock Turtle Bodybuilding Technique Lv.1”

”Hint: The Rock Turtle bloodline may not be strong in terms of combat power, but in terms of defense, it is definitely better than most knights of the same level. Even if facing a stronger one, it will not be killed by one punch... At least two punches, right?”

……

Putting aside the iconic venomous tongue of Trash Talk Eyes, one thing is certain, that is, the strength of the man in the top hat should be above that of Knight Clause.

On the whole, the man in the top hat is most likely a Bronze Knight, and maybe even the best among them.

As for Rex saying that he is the Bronze Knight, that is pure nonsense.

The eye-catching Lv.4 logo and the Trash Talk Eyes’ evaluation of it as being able to fight above its level make it no longer a bronze knight.

Although Rorschach is still unsure whether the Lv.4 level determined by the Trash Talk Eyes corresponds to the Golden Knight, if the Lv.4 level corresponds to the Golden Knight, then what does the Lv.5 level correspond to?

This cannot be confirmed at the moment due to insufficient intelligence.

But even if he used his butt to think, he knew that Rex, the legendary ”Prince of the previous dynasty”, could not be a bronze knight.

Along the way, Rorschach also learned a lot of information from Rex that the man in the top hat didn’t have time to tell him, or didn’t intend to tell him at all.

For example, the land beneath their feet is called the Gray Area.

There is no way to know how big the Gray Region is, but the three empires that dominate the Gray Region are:

The Storm Empire founded by the Dorag clan with the blood of the storm dragon, the Scarlet Flame Empire founded by the Phoenix clan with the blood of the phoenix, and the Titan Empire founded by the Jaint clan with the blood of the Titan giants are collectively known as the Three Great Empires of the Gray Domain!

Of course, the Gray Region is too large, and even the three powerful empires cannot control everything.

Under the influence of the three major empires, there are hundreds of kingdoms of varying sizes in the Gray Region, as well as some intricate and chaotic places.

For example, the dark desert where Dusk Village is located is an area that the forces of the three empires have never set foot in, or will not easily set foot in.

Firstly, this place is too desolate and there are absolutely no resources. Secondly, this place is full of unknown dangers. Without gold, one dare not set foot in it easily. It is very likely that one may not be able to get out once he gets in.

For various reasons, this place has become a no-man’s land.

However, from a geographical point of view alone, the Dark Desert is closer to the Storm Empire and the Red Flame Empire, and is located in the outer area of the border between the two empires.

This time, Rorschach and his companions left the Dark Desert directly in the direction closer to the Storm Empire, and now they have actually stepped into the territory of the Storm Empire, but they are still in the more peripheral territories for the time being.

Rex dared to return to the Storm Empire alone and planned to give Rorschach an explanation. How could he really be the Bronze Knight?

Even without the Trash Talk Eyes, Rorschach wouldn’t believe such nonsense, not to mention that he’s a cheater.

However, even so, it was enough to make the whole caravan enthusiastic about them. You know, it is not easy to do business in the Gray Region.

Even though this is already within the territory of the Storm Empire, there are still too many unknown risks. The risks here may come from strange beasts in the wilderness, or from the elusive fallen alien species.

But more of it comes from...human beings!
The Gray Domain is not a peaceful and prosperous world, especially with the existence of inhuman groups like the Blood Knights. There are too many people living on the edge of a knife.

It is true that they dare not easily infringe upon the interests of the three major empires, but don’t they dare to infringe upon the interests of some small chambers of commerce?

Therefore, most caravans faced the risk of destruction at any time during every trading trip.

It was a godsend to have a friendly bronze knight like Rex as a companion!
It would be strange if the caravan was not enthusiastic.

Even the caravan leader, Claus, the only Black Iron Knight in the caravan, took the initiative to prepare a barbecue meal to entertain them.

”It is truly admirable that Senior Arthur can concentrate on his cultivation and not be bothered by fame and fortune.” Clauser took the initiative to compliment him.

”Yeah.” Rex said lightly.

It can be seen that Rex actually doesn’t want to pay attention to the other party.

Come to think of it, although he is a bronze knight on the surface, Rex’s true identity and strength are there. A small figure like Clauser would never get the chance to flatter Rex even if he queues up.

Rex naturally didn’t take the compliment too well.

But if this happens, wouldn’t Claus be embarrassed?

In order to resolve this awkward situation, he immediately shifted his target of getting close to Rorschach: ”Brother Rorschach, you are accepted as a student by Senior Arthur. You will definitely have a bright future. Come, brother, let me toast you.”

Clauser didn’t care at all whether his attempt to get close to the young people would be despised. He picked up the wine glass with a smile and drank it first as a toast.

”Knight Claus, thank you for your compliment.” Rorschach was not as cold as Rex. He thought that one should not hit someone who smiles at him.

When Claus saw that Rorschach did not keep him at a distance, he suddenly said, ”Come to think of it, I have a sister who is probably the same age as you, little brother Rorschach. Do you mind if I ask her to come over and sit with me for a while?”

”Your sister?”

”Yes, she should be preparing for the ’blood fusion’ this year. If everything goes well, she will become a knight soon.” Clauser said, ”That girl’s talent is much higher than mine. She will probably go further than me in this path in the future. It’s just that her personality is a little eccentric...”

When Clauser said this, his tone was somewhat helpless.

”Let her come and eat with us then.” Rex suddenly said.

”Ok?”

Rorschach looked at Rex in surprise. Rex, who had always been indifferent to Clause, was now in a state of shock. What was he doing?

”You don’t spend enough time with people of your age, and you lack vitality.” Rex looked at Rorschach and chuckled.

Luo Xia didn’t say anything when he heard this, but he was speechless in his heart.

Where is this?

When Claus saw that Rex agreed, he immediately ran away. After a while, he brought back a girl who looked about the same age as Rorschach, probably only sixteen or seventeen years old.

The girl looks very delicate, and it is obvious from her features that she has not fully grown yet. She is definitely a little beauty.

But his words and actions seemed a little erratic, and he looked reluctant when being pulled over by Claus.

Rorschach was just there to watch the fun, but when the girl’s message appeared in front of him, his expression suddenly became a little strange...
