Starting from the Wizarding World

Chapter 18: Each one confessesChapter 18: Each one confesses
However, this unnatural look did not last long. In just a breath, Su Xueqi had returned to normal and asked:

”What do you mean, who else could he be if not my brother?”

”I’m not testing you. After all, I’m taking a risk when I say this.” Rorschach looked straight into Su Xueqi’s eyes.

Su Xueqi was silent.

She wasn’t entirely sure what Rorschach meant by that statement.

But when Rorschach had made his words so clear, unless she had an IQ problem, it was impossible for her not to understand what Rorschach meant.

”Your acting skills are great. I’ve even been moved by you before... All this must be ridiculous in your eyes, right?” Su Xueqi said coldly.

She chose not to continue acting because she knew that when Rorschach decided to confront her, he would have been sure of her identity.

Continuing the performance would only add to the joke.

Besides, as Rorschach said, when two displaced persons knew each other’s identities, it would be risky for both of them, so there was no need for her to panic too much.

This is a special balance of terror.

”You think too much.” Rorschach shook his head. ”At that time, I didn’t know your identity yet, and you didn’t reveal any flaws.”

Obviously, Rorschach lied, but it was a white lie so as not to make Su Xueqi angry and embarrassed.

”Huh?” Su Xueqi was a little surprised.

She originally thought that she had revealed some flaws during her communication with Rorschach, causing Rorschach to recognize that she was also a Displacer, but Rorschach said that she did not reveal any flaws.

This is very strange.

After she talked with Rorschach yesterday, the two had no contact until they met just now.

It couldn’t have been exposed just at that moment, right?

But when she thought about it carefully, she hadn’t said more than two sentences in total, so how could she have revealed any flaws?

If there really was a flaw yesterday, although she wasn’t sure, she could barely accept the possibility.

But today she really didn’t feel that there was anything wrong with her.

”Do you think I look gullible?” Su Xueqi looked unhappy.

Because she suddenly felt that Rorschach was playing tricks on her, otherwise she couldn’t think of any other reason.

”Don’t be so excited. If I really had ill intentions towards you, there would be no need for me to confront you alone like I am doing now, right?” Rorschach signaled her to stay calm.

Su Xueqi was silent again.

Although she didn’t want to admit it, she understood that what Rorschach said was true.

If Rorschach had ill intentions towards her and discovered her identity as a Displacer, there would be many ways to kill her.

Coming to confront her face to face is undoubtedly the stupidest choice.

If she had discovered Rorschach’s identity as a substitute, no matter how she felt about him, she would never have chosen to confront him so rashly.

Rorschach’s choice was indeed a little difficult for her to understand.

”Okay, I’m willing to believe that you have no ill will towards me, so can you tell me what the problem is?” Su Xueqi couldn’t help but ask.

”The problem is that you chose to melt your blood last night, and it happened to be successful.” Rorschach spoke out the speech he had prepared long ago.

”What do you mean?”

”The fluctuation you felt last night was actually caused by my blood melting process.”

”so what?”

”The blood I merged with is somewhat special, and involves some secrets that you are not qualified to know at the moment. It’s a long story...”

”Your tone right now really deserves a beating!”

”Okay, let me make it short. Because of me, the rock turtle blood you merged with has been tainted with some extremely dangerous power. This power will gradually erode you until it eventually devours you completely.”

”Do you believe what you said?”

”Of course... I don’t believe it.” Rorschach shrugged. ”I know this may sound unbelievable. Even if I were you, I probably wouldn’t believe it, but this is the fact, whether you believe it or not.”

”hehe.”

”You must have had a nightmare last night, right? You only saw the tip of the iceberg of that hopeless world.” Rorschach once again threw out some explosive information. Su Xueqi was also shocked at this moment!
Because no one knows better than her what the ”despairing world” that Rorschach mentioned is, and how helpless it makes her in her dreams.

She originally thought it was just a nightmare. After waking up, it took her a long time to come out of that state. She didn’t even want to think about it anymore...

Until Rorschach suddenly brought up this matter!
”Was it you who caused that nightmare?” Su Xueqi looked at Luo Xia with some doubt.

”I have made it very clear that you were infected with that dangerous power because of me, even though I was not aware of it at the time.”

Rorschach pondered, ”And the reason why you dreamed of that hopeless world is indeed because of the power you were infected with. If nothing unexpected happens, the duration of your dreams of that hopeless world will become longer and longer every night until that power completely corrodes you...”

”enough!”

The feelings that Su Xueqi didn’t want to recall in her mind came back to her mind after being reminded by Luo Xia, making her face turn pale in an instant!
”Calm down first. Once you believe what I said is true, we can talk about this matter. Otherwise, there is actually nothing to talk about.”

Rorschach stood up and chose to leave directly.

He was not in a hurry for a result, because he knew very well that few people could withstand the erosion of the aura of purgatory.

Especially as the extent of erosion grew, the feeling of powerlessness and despair was something Su Xueqi could not bear.

The more he learned about Purgatory, the more certain he became.

In that case, why should he waste his breath?

the other side.

Rex was walking slowly in the wilderness.

But his journey was not peaceful, because all kinds of mutated poisonous insects kept attacking him like moths to a flame!

But there were several miniature tornado-like wind beams surrounding him, which turned those poisonous insects into powder!
”Haven’t you had enough fun yet, my dear cousin...”

Rex asked suddenly.

”It’s really you, cousin Rex?” A surprised voice seemed to come out of nowhere, and then a crack suddenly appeared on the ground not far away, and a giant scorpion several meters high appeared from it!

This giant scorpion has strange and colorful colors and looks extremely dangerous!
But the most eye-catching thing is undoubtedly the enchanting young woman lying on her side on the back of the giant scorpion, wearing a golden scarf and making it impossible to see her appearance clearly.

It was obvious that those poisonous insects were her work.

Moreover, Rex was not a stranger to her at all, because they were cousins.

”Why, is it strange to see that I’m still alive?” Rex asked calmly.

”Are you telling the truth? It is indeed a bit strange, because I thought that failure would be more difficult for you to accept than death.” The enchanting young woman murmured.

”I didn’t expect that the one who understands me the best is you, ’Elsa’.” Rex sighed.

Upon hearing this, the charming young woman named Elsa couldn’t help but laugh and said, ”I am really flattered to be evaluated in this way by my cousin Rex, the ’Son of the Storm’... But, cousin Rex, you should leave here. I can pretend that I haven’t seen you today, and no one will know that you are still alive.”

At the end, the enchanting young woman’s tone became a little heavier.

”If I was afraid of being discovered, I wouldn’t have come back. And do you really think my fourth brother doesn’t know that I’m still alive?” Rex shook his head and smiled.

”He knows?” The charming young woman looked surprised.

Of course she knew that the fourth brother Rex was referring to was the current Storm Emperor who was now in charge of the Storm Empire!
She originally thought that Rex was able to survive by hiding in the dark, but now from what Rex said, it seemed that was not the case?

”Want to know the truth? I can tell you.” Rex said with a smile.

”No, I don’t want to know at all!” The enchanting young woman sat up directly from the giant scorpion and covered her ears with her hands.

Although covering their ears was meaningless for people of their strength, she just wanted to use this action to express her attitude.

But she said with a look of disgust: ”I don’t want to get involved in any trouble. Please leave. I haven’t seen anyone today and I don’t know anything!”

”No hurry. I still want to catch up with you, cousin Elsa.” Rex was in no hurry to leave and said with a smile.

”Not familiar, thank you!”

”If you say so, I will reveal the answer directly. If my petty-minded fourth brother knew about it...”

”Don’t!”

The enchanting young woman immediately stopped Rex.

Seeing Rex’s contented look, the charming young woman realized that she was being manipulated and immediately regretted it:
”I shouldn’t be nosy. Why can’t I control myself?”
