Mythical Professions are all my employees

Chapter 250 The Terrifying Old Rabbit, Under Control! How Does a So-Called Profession Become a God?Chapter 250 The Terrifying Old Rabbit, Under Control! The So-Called Profession… How to Become a God?
The information revealed by Old Rabbit, even if it’s just a glimpse, is revolutionary.

Qin Fang was speechless for a moment.

”Is it hard to accept?”

The old rabbit shook its head, got up and took out two bowls from the cabinet next to it, then took out some dried grass-like things from a jar and put them in the bowls. After brewing them with boiling water, it placed one of the bowls in front of Qin Fang.

A unique aroma wafted from the bowl, attracting Qin Fang’s attention.

”Kate grass, a specialty of Ribit planet, have a taste.”

”Thank you.”

Qin Fang took it, but didn’t drink it.

...The news was shocking.

But Qin Fang didn’t forget that this was a dungeon.

I still have basic caution.

Old Rabbit didn’t care whether he had drunk or not, and continued the previous topic: ”Power that you comprehend on your own is the power that truly belongs to you. Becoming a god through the Divine Fruit... in a way, is the same as you are now, a slave to the laws. It’s just that... the laws bestowed by the Divine Fruit are more powerful and more complete. Therefore, you can’t perfectly control your own power.”

After a moment of silence, Qin Fang asked, ”What’s the difference between the two? I mean... even if you can’t perfectly control the power, it doesn’t seem to be a big problem, right?”

”Is it?”

The old rabbit asked with cloudy eyes, ”I see that you have many fragments of laws on you. Among so many fragments of laws, there should be some that are described as ’unselectable’, right?”

Qin Fang was stunned for a moment.

Unable to select?

...That’s too many.

His entire arsenal is filled with epic-level skills, including numerous assassin and warp abilities, all of which contain the description ”untargetable”.

“If I tell you with words, you can’t understand, so I’ll tell you with facts… Now, try to come to my side using a skill that is ‘unselectable’.”

Old Rabbit looked at Qin Fang with his cloudy eyes and smiled gently.

Oh?
Qin Fang narrowed his eyes, intrigued.

Is this... a school exam?

Do we still need to use the ’cannot be selected’ skill?
”Are you sure? My skills... basically all deal damage,” Qin Fang said, squinting.

”Give it a try,” the old rabbit said with a gentle smile.

Qin Fang nodded, then stood up.

...They spoke eloquently, claiming to be gods, but Qin Fang couldn’t possibly believe them completely.

It’s worth a try.

His actions made the little rabbits at the door curiously peek out.

”Well, here I come!”

As soon as Qin Fang finished speaking, he used the ”Boundary Severing Scissors” of the ”Purgatory Rose” without hesitation!
Ripples appeared in the void, and in the next instant, Qin Fang’s figure vanished into the void.

If successful, he will appear behind Old Rabbit in the next instant and launch two spatial attacks on Old Rabbit.

But in the instant his figure disappeared, Old Rabbit simply and casually tapped his right hand in front of him.

With its fingertip as the center, ripples appeared in the air like water, spreading out in an instant.

The next instant, Qin Fang felt a dizzying sensation, his vision shifting and disorienting. When he came to his senses, he had involuntarily emerged from the void, staggering backward.

I didn’t feel any pain, but a health bar appeared on my head.

And then I looked at the health bar...

Qin Fang gasped!
500000000!

A huge, blood-red character floated out.

...Five hundred million damages!?
He looked at Old Rabbit in disbelief.

...The ’Boundary Scissors’ that could not be selected was broken.

And he lost 5 million health points?!

The old rabbit’s expression was murky yet calm. It still resembled a frail, aged rabbit: ”You can try other skills... You call them skills, right? You can try other skills... Don’t worry, I’ll be careful and won’t kill you. But let’s talk facts, and perhaps you’ll be more convinced... For gods who have mastered some laws, the so-called numerical values of law slaves... are nothing but illusions.”

Qin Fang looked at the old rabbit in shock. He pursed his lips, and then in the next moment, his figure blurred and disappeared into the void once again.

And this time...

He used his awakened technique!

—Shadow Void Slash!
In an instant, a crack appeared in the void, as if it were about to unleash a slash.

But the old rabbit remained motionless, simply tapping its body lightly, and another ripple appeared.

The next instant, the void rift closed up beneath the ripples.

Qin Fang stumbled and fell out of the void once more!

Qin Fang staggered backward in disbelief, then subconsciously looked up.

Then I froze.

Last time, the old rabbit caused him over 5 million damages.

But this time...

The damage caused is...
-
1!

Yes.

1 point of health!
...5 million at a time.

One point at a time!
...Is this what the old rabbit meant by mastering one’s own power?

Qin Fang was completely stunned.

He stared blankly at the old rabbit.

The old rabbit stared at him calmly with its cloudy eyes: ”You can continue.”

Qin Fang was stunned.

A legendary teleportation skill.

An epic awakening skill.

But the result...

Old Rabbit’s criticisms are all understated.

It has absolutely no trace of human touch!

This is……

God?

Qin Fang tried to observe the other party using the panel.

However, the results panel did not respond.

...just like observing other rabbits.

The old rabbit in front of him seemed like an ordinary being.

But this ’ordinary being’ instantly drained 5 million of his health!
The second time, he only lost 1 HP...

This is even more terrifying than losing 5 million of his health points!

Because Qin Fang couldn’t do it.

He either won’t be able to deal any damage at all. To actually deal damage, it would require over 1 million...

...a slave to the law.

Could it be that I really am a ’slave’?
……

Qin Fang stood there stunned for a moment.

Old Rabbit didn’t urge him; he simply picked up the cup of Kate’s Herb he had brewed for himself, blew on it gently, and took a small sip.

Qin Fang didn’t know how long it took him to come to his senses. He looked at Old Rabbit with a complicated expression, and then couldn’t help but say, ”So... comprehending the laws is the right path. All this data... is illusory... and professions are also illusory?”

His greatest asset is his profession as a boss.

Countless skills and attribute points given by countless employees... and even epic and legendary professions bestowed upon them.

But now, it all seems like an illusion.

...Facing this old rabbit...or rather, this deity.

His numerous skills seem to be of no use at all.

Having over a billion health points and over a hundred million attack power was of no use whatsoever.

”It’s certainly not the right path, but it’s not exactly a delusion either.”

After thinking for a moment, the old rabbit gave an unexpected answer.

Qin Fang looked at him with a puzzled expression.

”Comprehending the laws is not an easy thing. Gods who obtain divine fruits may be able to more easily approach the threshold of the laws with the help of the divine fruits... but there is still a process to comprehend them. And this process is very long.”

”For example, it took me nearly a thousand years to comprehend this one sliver of the law.”

”But in the Battle Domain of Myriad Races, there is constant fighting. At this time, fragments of laws still have an irreplaceable role.”

”It’s like... what’s the conflict between learning knowledge and the money-making skills you already possess?”

”One is in the present, and the other is in the future.”

The examples Old Rabbit gives are always nonsensical.

But Qin Fang...

understood.

Yes, it seems I’ve gotten myself into a rut.

Data is still useful, it’s just useless when it comes to gods who have comprehended the laws of nature.

However, the threat from other races is very real.

To contend with alien races, stats, class...

It remains the optimal solution at present!

”And how do you comprehend the laws...? By imagining them out of thin air?”

The old rabbit shook its head with cloudy eyes: ”These fragments of laws are the best blueprint. However, those below the level of gods are just pieces here and there, seemingly unrelated and completely unsystematic. It is very difficult to comprehend them from beginning to end by using these fragments.”

”But if we can find the starting point... then these fragments become guiding lights in our understanding of the laws... pointing out some directions for future development...”

Qin Fang listened, and then suddenly understood.

That’s right, these skills are actually quite powerful.

Currently, professionals can use it, but they don’t know how or why it works; they simply use the control panel mechanically.

However, the results speak for themselves.

If we can find a path that allows them to gradually understand not only what it is, but also why it is so... then these fragments will be like guiding lights on their path to comprehending the laws, letting them know what kind of effect they want to achieve.

”However, many of these skill fragments are the personal insights of powerful beings who have fallen over countless years, and they do not necessarily represent absolute correctness... Understanding the laws is also about forging one’s own path. In the early stages, one can imitate, but in the later stages, one must inevitably comprehend one’s own understanding... However, this is too far away. In the Battle Domain of Ten Thousand Races, many powerful beings never reach this level in their entire lives. So there is no point in mentioning it.”

At this point, the old rabbit paused, its cloudy eyes looking at Qin Fang: ”But your situation is different... Over the years, I have met some outsiders, and they also have fragments of laws in their bodies, but far fewer than you... I can even see several paths of laws that are close to perfection on you... But these paths do not seem to come from the same lineage, and there are some slight differences... How exactly did you do it?”

The path to near-perfect laws?
Qin Fang was stunned at first, but he quickly understood what was going on.

Fragments of laws become individual skills.

One profession, four skills.

But currently, there are only a few classes available... Assassin, Warrior, Tank, Support, Mage, Archer...

And they are all epic or higher.

He did sense that many of the skills later on were roughly similar.

Could it be that ”Old Rabbit” refers to this?
But looking at Old Rabbit’s cloudy eyes, Qin Fang hesitated... Should he tell him his biggest secret?

The secrets of the ’boss profession’...

Qin Fang hesitated.

The old rabbit saw his hesitation and waved its hand, saying, ”Never mind, everyone has their own destiny. Your experience may be very strange... but the Battlefield of Ten Thousand Races encompasses hundreds of millions of races. All kinds of beings exist, and all kinds of wonders can happen... I was just curious for a moment, so there’s no need to go into details.”

After a moment of silence, Qin Fang finally let out a soft sigh and asked, ”How should I address you?”

This was the first time he used honorifics.

...Up to this point, everything this old rabbit has done deserves his respect.

”How should I address you?” The old rabbit was silent for a while before gently saying, ”I am now the village chief of a village, so you can call me village chief too.”

The village chief?
”Village Chief.” Qin Fang didn’t say much in the end; he simply nodded and called out.

Old Rabbit smiled and nodded: ”Sit down and let’s talk.”

Qin Fang readily sat down, then eagerly asked, ”Village Chief, you said the God’s Dungeon... is a tutorial dungeon, is there any explanation for that?”

Old Rabbit nodded and slowly said, ”Although both obtain fragments of the law, beings with higher aptitude are more likely to obtain relatively complete fragments of the law... This is what your class panel refers to as ’common,’ ’elite,’ ’excellent,’ ’epic,’ ’legendary,’ and other class ranks... These actually refer to the completeness of the law that person obtains.”

”For example, the divine fruit... Why can beings who eat the divine fruit become gods? It’s because the divine fruit contains a relatively complete law... Therefore, gods can more easily comprehend and master the law.”

”The Battle Domain of Ten Thousand Races... even I have no idea how it came about. I only know that it is incredibly vast and incredibly powerful... Long ago, the boundary crystal of the Land of Fallen Boundaries on Planet Ribit was breached by a powerful enemy. Because I barely became a god and mastered a trace of the power of law, I was able to preserve the flame... but on that day, I was trapped here.”

”My career panel tells me that if I want the sanctuary of Planet Ribit to continue to exist, I need to wait here... wait for outsiders to come and then teach them how to master the laws.”

Old Rabbit’s cloudy eyes dimmed: ”The Rebit people’s reproductive ability used to be extremely strong, but as you can see, the village now only has so many children left... The Battlefield of Ten Thousand Races has greatly limited the Rebit people’s reproductive ability. Now, it takes one or two years to conceive a child, and a couple can only have a maximum of two children...”

”The Battlefield of Myriad Races tells me that I must guide at least ten thousand outsiders to master the power of the laws, in return... The Battlefield of Myriad Races will restore some of the reproductive capabilities of the Ribit people, and the area of the Pure Land will also expand... Perhaps one day, the boundary crystal of Ribit Star will be relit, and the civilization of Ribit Star may truly be able to revive...”

A flicker of anticipation flashed in Old Rabbit’s eyes, but it vanished in an instant before he looked at Qin Fang and said, ”That’s why I’m here.”

Qin Fang was shocked.

Was Ribite destroyed?

Such a powerful village chief... a village chief who can take away 5 million of his own health points with just a flick of his finger.

...Its world was once completely destroyed!

It’s not hard to imagine how terrifying their former enemies were...

And Earth’s current protection period still has...

3 years!
Qin Fang felt his breathing become heavy.

You should know that there isn’t a single god on Earth right now.

And there are no gods...

They couldn’t even preserve the last sanctuary of their race!

An unprecedented sense of urgency swept over us.

Qin Fang let out a soft breath, then asked seriously, ”So, Village Chief, how can I... master the laws, and... become a god?”
