Chapter 206 The Actions of the Aristocratic Families, Searching for Traces of Paradise, Shen ChangyuChapter 206 The Actions of the Aristocratic Families, Searching for Traces of Paradise, Shen Changyuan Questioned, Qin Xing Anxious
For the past six months, he has been chasing after professional altars all over the world, but he has always been a step behind and unable to achieve his goal.

The thought that he might have to return empty-handed again naturally made him somewhat irritable.

”The War Division has no intelligence either... The people from Paradise have not made any contact with them. Their whereabouts are very mysterious. The War Division has also used detection tools to investigate, but the results have been fruitless... Even the alien races have used their armies to block them... but still, they have not gained anything.”

The people around him were talking about the intelligence they had gathered in the past two days, and each of them had a furrowed brow.

They had already planned that as long as the other side broke the record again, they could lie in wait outside the instance... They brought advanced reconnaissance equipment, which would definitely allow them to find the members of the amusement park immediately.

But now that the other party is not moving, they don’t know what to do next.

”Has the intelligence from other cities been gathered yet?”

Jiang Zicheng frowned for a moment and then suddenly asked.

”The summary is in... The park has been active in the vicinity of fifty-three cities recently, and has contacted the combat divisions of those cities, but in the last two days... they haven’t had any activities.”

Someone replied immediately.

Someone frowned and said, ”Why does it feel like the amusement park has noticed our movements and is deliberately hiding their whereabouts?”

”It’s very possible... This time it’s not just us who are being targeted; other forces in Shengjing are also involved. It’s normal for them to be aware of it.”

”This paradise is shrouded in mystery, but the fact that it has been able to develop so many epic classes in such a short time... even if they have mastered the patterns of the mysterious altar, it is quite astonishing. We know nothing about them, but they have likely already planted many spies.”

”I don’t know what their purpose is... Gathering so many epic professionals, and acting so high-profile yet mysteriously... Although those members are still of low rank now, in a few years when they advance to rank 3, they will be a terrifying force that cannot be ignored... We seem to have underestimated them a bit too much before.”

Someone said in a deep voice.

Tier 1 and Tier 2 epics are strong, but their potential is even greater.

Everyone present was confident in handling the situation.

But once an epic-level professional reaches Tier 3... their strength will undergo a qualitative change.

With the elimination of positional suppression, their attributes, due to the class coefficient, are sufficient for them to fight across multiple levels.

In particular, the strongest thing about epic classes is their awakening skills... Every epic class’s awakening skill is an incredibly powerful skill!
Once the restriction of rank is removed, these extraordinary awakening skills can unleash their full potential.

At that point, it won’t be someone with exceptional professional skills who can pull off such an act.

Upon hearing this, everyone’s expressions changed slightly.

Previously, most of my attention was drawn to the job change altar, but now that I think about it... the potential of this paradise is truly not to be underestimated.

While there are quite a few official epics, they are mostly set in the Fallen Realm, focusing on fighting alien races and leveling up... There are indeed not many epics on Earth.

”I don’t care about all that, the important thing now is to find the people in the amusement park!”

Jiang Zicheng slammed his hand on the table in frustration and said.

Everyone paused for a moment, then someone frowned and said, ”Well, let’s think of another way... see if there’s any way to force them out... if they don’t move, we’ll find a way to make them move...”

……

The situation in Nanqiao City is not an isolated case.

In fact, similar scenes occurred in many places at the same time.

The amusement park’s sudden shutdown has left many forces eager to find them feeling uneasy, and they are all trying to come up with a solution.

……

”Paradise Academy? Paradise Auction?...Why wasn’t this mentioned in the previous intelligence?”

People also arrived in Iron Teeth City.

It was still the Xu family who came.

While other places are still struggling to find a paradise.

The Xu family members felt as if they were already surrounded by a paradise!

Walk down the street, and you’ll see restaurants called Paradise Restaurant. Shopping malls called Paradise Mall. Even the milk tea shops are called Paradise Milk Tea.

This left the Xu family somewhat bewildered.

After two days of investigation, they received an exciting piece of news... This amusement park was actually closely related to the amusement park they were looking for!
Therefore, they went to the Combat Division immediately and found Shen Changyuan.

The leader, a third-generation direct descendant of the Xu family, questioned Shen Changyuan!

...The Xu family was different from other families; they had been searching for traces of the amusement park.

Naturally, orders had already been issued to the Iron Fang City Combat Division, which had first appeared in Paradise, that any intelligence about Paradise must be reported immediately.

But the result?

The entire Iron Fang City is now surrounded by the amusement park, but the director of the Professional Combat Division hasn’t reported any intelligence to his superiors.

This infuriated the third-generation direct descendant of the Xu family.

”Hmm? Aren’t you looking for a record-breaking amusement park?”

Shen Changyuan looked surprised.

”Is not it?”

The third-generation direct descendant of the Xu family stared at Shen Changyuan with a cold expression: ”Don’t deny it. Would I come to you without evidence? I’ve already inquired. The official government of Iron Fang City has endorsed the Paradise Academy that is currently under construction, clearly stating that it was founded by the owner of Paradise Academy, who once fought against the centaur siege outside Iron Fang City. He even serves as the honorary principal of the academy. How do you intend to explain this?”

”...Establishing academies is a matter for the Education Department, not the Vocational Skills Division. As for whether it’s related to that amusement park owner...”

Shen Changyuan said helplessly, ”Your Excellency, because of the last time the alien race attacked the city, the entire Iron Fang City now idolizes Paradise. If you don’t believe me, you can go and ask around... Even that tiny ’Paradise Bun Shop’ downstairs from the City Hall, which is less than ten square meters in size, dares to claim that his shop is owned by the owner of Paradise and that he is just managing it... How can I dare to report such unfounded and baseless information to my superiors?”

”You mean the Education Department is lying?” The envoy wasn’t stupid; he asked with a displeased expression.

”I don’t know about that, but at least... there’s definitely no evidence.”

Shen Changyuan shrugged: ”If you don’t believe me, you can check it out. See who can provide concrete evidence that Paradise Academy is related to that Paradise?”

The Xu family member sneered: ”Alright, let’s not talk about Paradise Academy for now... But recently, almost everyone saw you with Paradise and several Paradise members, and you even gave them a secret realm boss... You didn’t seem to report that, did you? How do you plan to explain that?”

Qin Fang asked Shen Changyuan for a secret realm boss in order to advance the core members to the second tier, which many people witnessed. It was clearly not a secret. This member of the Xu family naturally found out as well.

”That’s true, but... I remember reporting it.”

Shen Changyuan looked surprised and said, ”After I received the request from the amusement park for the boss, I reported it to my superiors immediately... Didn’t they receive it?”

”Hmm?” The Xu family member’s eyes widened, about to say something.

Yu Qianqiu, who was standing next to him, suddenly raised his hand timidly and said, ”Um... Director.”

”Hmm?” Shen Changyuan looked at her.

”Actually... I forgot about the intelligence you asked me to report...” Yu Qianqiu said awkwardly.

”What? You forgot?! You actually forgot such important information?!”

Shen Changyuan was furious: ”I repeatedly told you that the higher-ups wanted to investigate the amusement park, and now that they’ve contacted us, we have to report to them immediately... How could you forget?! I was wondering why there were no instructions from above after we reported it?! You, you... do you know that this is a serious dereliction of duty?!”

”I’m sorry...” Yu Qianqiu looked nervous and uneasy, twisting her fingers and bowing her head to admit her mistake.

”you you……”

Shen Changyuan looked extremely angry, and finally said angrily, ”Alright, stop with the ’you’ and ’me’ talk! I will not tolerate such serious dereliction of duty! ... From now on, you are suspended from your duties! Also, write a 30,000-word self-criticism report! I will propose the specific punishment at tomorrow’s executive meeting, and then discuss with the other deputy directors how to deal with your dereliction of duty!”

Yu Qianqiu kept her head down and said, ”Oh...”

”What are you still standing here for? You’re suspended! Get out!”

Shen Changyuan was furious.

Yu Qianqiu gave a reluctant reply, wiped away her tears, and ran off.

The Xu family members: ”...”

Shen Changyuan looked at the third-generation direct descendant of the Xu family with a heavy expression, whose face was so gloomy it seemed like he was about to drip water.

He apologized, saying, ”Your Excellency, this... this is my dereliction of duty, I apologize! I didn’t expect my subordinates to be so careless, to forget such important intelligence! ... In the future, if there is similar important intelligence, I will personally report it to my superiors. I promise this will never happen again!”

The third generation of the Xu family’s direct lineage stared intently at Shen Changyuan: ”Do you think I’m stupid?”

Shen Changyuan looked surprised: ”Why does the envoy say such a thing?”

”you!……”

The Xu family’s direct descendant wanted to say something, but once he opened his mouth, he fell silent.

What can be said?
They’ve already found someone to take the blame!

Just as Xu Jin said, none of the people from the Iron Fang City Combat Division can be trusted!
They may very well have already secretly colluded with the amusement park!
The key issue is... he really doesn’t know what to do with Shen Changyuan.

What can I do?
kill him?

Please, he’s the director of the Combat Department!
Is that something you can just kill whenever you want?
In this era where nationwide communication is difficult and transportation is inconvenient, the combat command has a high degree of autonomy.

Even if the United Front Work Department has the authority to dismiss a local director of a local United Front Work Department, it must provide a clear reason and justification.

But now it’s just a momentary oversight; it doesn’t even qualify as dereliction of duty.

And this isn’t even a big deal... After all, the park isn’t the Divine Advent Cult, nor is it an organization officially labeled as a terrorist organization.

At best, it can be considered a mysterious, grassroots organization.

Even if the other party is clearly protecting him, there’s nothing he can do.

Besides, they even found a scapegoat.
It won’t work procedurally.

So, should we rely on our own strength to suppress them?
But he is, after all, a Tier 3 Outstanding Peak Professional!
He also had thousands of subordinates.

If they really fight...

It’s really hard to say who will win or lose.

When Xu Jin, that Tier 4 Epic, came over that day, he could only barely suppress her and dared not act recklessly.

Let alone him?

Seeing Shen Changyuan’s innocent expression, this Xu family direct descendant, who had come so aggressively to demand an explanation, finally left with a belly full of anger, saying, ”Just you wait!”

Then he took his people away.

Shen Changyuan followed behind, trying to explain, but they hurried away quickly.

Shen Changyuan’s expression slowly returned to normal.

He frowned, then sighed softly.

He believed it was only a matter of time before the park clashed with the authorities.

But when that day actually came, he couldn’t help but worry.

He had a good impression of the park from the beginning, and now it’s getting bigger and bigger, with an epic cast of characters.

Such an organization, going against its own government... this truly weighed heavily on his mind.

Whoever wins or loses... it’s a loss for humanity.

How would you handle this?

Shen Changyuan looked up into the distance, his heart filled with worry for Qin Fang.

……

at the same time.

Qin Xing has arrived in ’Fallen Leaf City’.

”Boss, I’ve arrived in Fallen Leaf City.”

He took the initiative to contact ’Wei’.

Soon, ’Wei’ responded to him.

”Okay, go to room 3015 of the Tianyun Hotel in Luoye City. Someone is waiting for you there.”

Qin Xing was startled... Was he about to meet the other members of this mysterious organization in ’reality’?
He felt a little uneasy.

His childhood environment fostered his suspicious nature... He always felt wary of strangers.

Moreover, he is a member of a mysterious organization like Paradise.

But we had to obey orders from above.

After hesitating for a moment, he finally gritted his teeth and accepted the order: ”Yes.”

After ending the call, he hesitated for a long time, but ultimately headed towards his destination.
