Chapter 224 Tian Shuang's Paradise: Planning, Hotels, IntelligenceChapter 224 Tian Shuang’s Paradise: Planning, Hotels, Intelligence
Three days have passed in the blink of an eye.

Tianshuang City is located about 50 kilometers north of Shengjing, making it one of the cities relatively close to Shengjing.

Because it was adjacent to Shengjing (Mukden), it was naturally quite prosperous.

There are no cities of other races near Tian Shuang City.

...Fifty kilometers away is Shengjing, and the Xia Kingdom would naturally not allow foreigners to build a city here.

Just as the alien races firmly control the area adjacent to the boundary gate, driving out all humans.

In fact, from Tieya to the vicinity of Jindong and then towards Shengjing, the number of cities inhabited by foreign tribes visibly decreased.

...He hadn’t felt anything special before, but after hearing what Jiang Linxue said, Qin Fang realized that the country was obviously on guard against something.

Further south lies the sea, with numerous islands. Although there are many sea creatures in the sea, the Xia Kingdom has been working to ensure that the islands remain under human control.

...It’s probably also to guard against any anomalies in the Fallen Realm and the alien races really starting a full-scale invasion. At least there’s a ’way out’ so that we can hold out for longer.

After three days, Qin Fang arrived in Tianshuang City and looked up at a huge shopping mall that was about ten stories high.

The building has huge illuminated signs on top that read ”Paradise Auction”.

Downstairs, a steady stream of guests entered the ’Paradise Auction,’ greeted by smiling staff in uniform. The interior was elegantly and comfortably decorated, and the spacious lobby was bustling with activity, accompanied by soft, gentle music playing softly...

It follows the same pattern as the auction of Iron Teeth’s Paradise.

This is what Lin Fan and his team have been busy with lately.

...In Tianshuang City, open an amusement park for auction.

It’s quite astonishing that they were able to accomplish this much in less than half a month.

It’s clear that Lin Fan and the others have been quite busy lately.

”The first and second floors are planned as rest and entertainment areas, open to everyone. The third floor and above are counter trading areas, divided according to different grades and categories... It officially opened the day before yesterday, and business is pretty good.”

”The fifth floor and above are the reception area, which operates on a membership system. Members are received on different floors according to their membership level, such as regular members, VIP members, Black Diamond members, and Super Members, and the reception staff are also different for each level... As you expected, those rich people are satisfied with this. Currently, there are over a hundred regular members, less than ten VIP members, two Black Diamond members... and no one has signed up for Super Member yet.”

”The ninth floor is an auction hall, which is only used when an auction is held.”

”The tenth and eleventh floors are reserved space. As you instructed, many guest rooms have been built there to provide accommodation for official members when they come to Tian Shuang, as well as staff dormitories. Of course, there are also kitchens, canteens, card rooms, and other recreational facilities for employees...”

”...That’s roughly the situation.”

Lin Fan stayed by Qin Fang’s side, explaining the current situation of the auction house to him.

Qin Fang looked at it and realized that it had taken a lot of effort to build this auction house from scratch in just half a month.

”Thanks for your hard work.”

Qin Fang smiled and said to Lin Fan.

Lin Fan sighed and shook his head helplessly: ”Fortunately, we bought a shopping mall directly, and most of the previous decorations are still usable, otherwise we really wouldn’t have been able to finish it in time... But even so, currently only the first five floors are barely usable, and the auction hall is also usable. The rest still need further renovations...”

”It’s okay, it’s enough.”

Qin Fang waved his hand.

You can imagine how busy Lin Fan and his team have been these past two weeks, having to buy a house and do renovations...

The former was easier to deal with; once the target was identified, money was thrown at it directly, with a premium of two times. The original owner, who was initially hesitant, immediately agreed and the handover was completed at lightning speed the next day.

However, getting the original merchants to leave the mall took quite a bit of effort...

This is a huge shopping mall with at least tens of thousands of merchants, all of whom have signed lease agreements with the original owner. Naturally, Lin Fan couldn’t just forcibly kick them all out.

But Qin Fang was pressing them urgently...

Money is the only way forward.

They paid three times the rent as compensation and ousted most of the businesses.

However, some merchants saw Lin Fan’s urgency and saw an opportunity to profit, so they tried to raise prices and refuse to leave, hoping to get more money...

So Lin Fan also expressed his gratitude gently.

If you don’t want money, we can be really deadly...

Three days later, these merchants left in a panic.

Even so, it took nearly ten million gold coins to finally get it completely done!

...Tens of millions of gold coins, converted to purchasing power in my previous life, would be roughly equivalent to billions...

Fortunately, the amusement park is a strong money-making machine.

It’s nothing much.

Then, Lin Fan started the renovation work even before all the procedures were completed...

This is not an easy task.

Although it was a shopping mall before, all the merchants were decorated very well.

But since we need to maintain a high standard, we naturally need to maintain a consistent style, which means many places have to be torn down and rebuilt...

Fortunately, having learned from the experience in Iron Teeth City, Lin Fan did not come alone this time, but brought a team of over a hundred people.

A professional team of interior designers spent three sleepless nights developing a renovation plan... Then, led by an experienced renovation team, with professionals as laborers, they began the massive renovation and decoration project...

have to say.

Professionals are practically born workhorses.

They don’t feel tired or in pain. When they run out of energy, they just take a stamina potion and they’re back to being energetic and vigorous.

And even ordinary professionals are all incredibly strong. Hundreds or even thousands of kilograms of weight are like toys in their hands…

He was born to do hard work!
The work that might require more than ten people to complete is something that an ordinary worker can finish in one or two hours.

What might be a major renovation challenge for ordinary decorators is handled with remarkable ease by a group of professionals.

In less than half a month, the mall was transformed into its current unified, elegant, and comfortable state...

This completely stunned the designers who were just ordinary people...

Then all I could do was force a smile.

...That’s just how unreasonable professionals are.

Compared to ordinary people, professionals have a huge advantage.

Once professionals join the competition... in any job, ordinary people have absolutely no advantage.

Qin Fang looked around the first and second floors. This was the leisure and entertainment area... The second floor had a lot of places for parent-child entertainment.

Ball pits, ice rinks, trampolines...

It has a very large area, nearly 10,000 square meters.

After all, it’s a mall renovation.

At this moment, a large number of citizens of Tianshuang City are resting and playing here... Children’s innocent smiles are everywhere.

Above the third floor is the counter trading area, brightly lit with golden lights, where various dungeon products are displayed on counters... sold in different areas according to their grade and type.

Business is booming; many professionals are browsing inside right now.

...After all, the goods auctioned at the amusement park are generally about 20% cheaper than the market price.

This is quite tempting for ordinary professionals.

The key point is that it’s not just cheap... but also high-quality.

You can buy most common items here...

The fact that members list so many items to exchange for points in the internal store is no joke.

...Those are all good stuff that were obtained from the lowest level of hell.

……

After briefly looking around the lower floors, Lin Fan led Qin Fang to the ninth floor in the elevator to take a look at the auction hall.

The ninth floor is a duplex structure. In addition to the lobby, there is a second floor. The second floor is divided into private rooms by black and gold curtains. The lobby below is also very well decorated, mainly in black tones, highlighting an elegant and mysterious atmosphere.

Qin Fang looked up from the high platform, glanced around, and then nodded with satisfaction...

”In less than half a month, the renovation has been completed like this... It’s very good.”

Qin Fang laughed.

Lin Fan shook his head and said, ”This used to be an opera house, and luckily it was... so it only needed a little renovation to be usable.”

”It’s fine, as long as it works.”

Qin Fang smiled. ”I’m glad you’re satisfied... Let’s go upstairs, Yangyang and Dayong should be here soon.”

Lin Fan suggested.

Qin Fang smiled and nodded. The two left the auction house and went up to the eleventh floor.

The eleventh floor is still the same as before... but since it was a shopping mall before, and it was newly built, it is still usable even though it has not been completely renovated.

Moreover, many areas have been converted into guest rooms... beds and other amenities are already prepared, and people can move in at any time.

Led by Lin Fan, Qin Fang and he arrived at a tea room on the eleventh floor.

This used to be a high-end teahouse, but the space was divided into small private rooms. Now, Lin Fan has opened it up and rearranged it into a large teahouse.

It’s very comfortable to be furnished.

You can overlook the city view through the window.

...It does have a bit of a ’modern office’ feel to it.

After sitting down and boiling water to make tea, Qin Fang asked, ”How many prominent families have contacted you in the past few days?”

”All.”

Lin Fan’s words made Qin Fang raise an eyebrow, and then he laughed... as if it was not unexpected.

He deliberately threw out the black scroll as bait... Those powerful families couldn’t possibly resist.

”And it’s not just the Guozhu family, but also some other forces... have been contacted.”

”Oh?”

Qin Fang raised his eyebrows.

Lin Fan explained briefly.

...The Guozhu family is just one of the nine most famous powers in the Xia Kingdom.

In fact, if we exclude the extraordinary combat power of the ’Nine Pillars of the Nation,’ they might not even be considered the strongest of the nine forces...

After all, the Xia Kingdom is so large, and communication between cities is inconvenient, which naturally gave rise to a considerable number of powerful forces.

The power of a professional lies within themselves. Although there is a professional combat department... not every professional is willing to join.

After all, the combat division is great in every way, but it’s definitely not free... Every day you have to follow orders and complete various tasks assigned by your superiors.

Some of those with both capital and ambition will naturally build their own power base.

For example, various professional teams... conglomerates...

and many more.

However, the Xia Kingdom found it difficult to effectively control.

Information is not readily available. Only the United Front Work Department has the ability to connect the whole country, while cities, unless adjacent, are relatively independent information cocoons.

Under these circumstances, it would be very difficult for the United Front Work Department to take action.

”Then it seems... these powerful families aren’t so good at controlling things either.”

Qin Fang smiled and shook his head.

The incident occurred in Fallen Leaf City, and now other forces have contacted Qin Fang... This shows that what happened in Fallen Leaf City that day has already been known to other forces.

How can we find out?

Isn’t it from the mouths of those participants?

They’re either from the Guozhu family or from the War Division.

”how many?”

Qin Fang didn’t care too much, because it wasn’t a bad thing for him.

He raised an eyebrow and asked.

“There are quite a few... and to be honest, we don’t know much about these organizations.”

Lin Fan shook his head.

The park has only been around for a short time.

It took less than a year to truly expand the scale.

And most of the time is spent upgrading.

Qin Fang himself is breaking records all over the world.

I haven’t really paid much attention to intelligence from various organizations.

Qin Fang nodded upon hearing this: ”We should be more careful about this in the future...”

Those organizations are unlikely to have much of an impact on the park.

However, the shortcomings in intelligence are now very obvious.

He is currently in a situation where others know him, but he doesn’t know others.

There are many things I’m completely clueless about.

After thinking for a moment, he said, ”It seems that the establishment of an intelligence department needs to be put on the agenda.”

There was no rush before because the amusement park was still very small at the time, and Qin Fang did not intend to bring it to the surface.

However, times change and circumstances shift.

The park has now stepped into the limelight... and possesses sufficient top-tier combat power.

Therefore, the establishment of middle management and intelligence teams also needs to be put on the agenda.

”Ah.”

After thinking for a moment, Qin Fang said, ”How about this, we open a hotel in every city from now on. Hotels... are relatively easy places to gather intelligence.”

”A hotel?” Lin Fan was taken aback.

Qin Fang nodded.

”Although the amusement park auction left the members with their own private land... I thought about it and realized that it’s not safe and could easily attract attention. It would be better to just set up some hotels... so that the members would have relatively stable places to stay when they settle in different cities, and they wouldn’t have to worry about their identities being exposed.”

”Staying in a hotel, with all sorts of facilities and amenities... is much more convenient than this current way of life.”

Qin Fang said.

Lin Fan thought for a moment, then nodded: ”Okay. As for the hotel name...”

”Any name is fine, but please don’t use the amusement park’s name.”

Qin Fang shook his head.

”The main purpose is to provide the members with a place to stay, while also collecting intelligence from various cities and then compiling it...”

Qin Fang narrowed his eyes and said, ”This time, Fa Guang and Hui Wen performed quite well. I plan to promote them and have them assist Xiao You in coordinating intelligence gathering.”

The management team is determined to expand.

There is no doubt about this.

The park’s goal is ambitious, aiming to encompass the entire Xia Kingdom. With so many cities, how can the current core layer be enough?
Below the core layer, a large number of management personnel are also needed.

Then naturally, other people should be promoted.

Both Valve Light and Obscure Kiss performed exceptionally well as the leaders of this operation.

Whether dealing with epic figures like Jiang Linxue or receiving members they weren’t initially familiar with... they did a commendable job.

He is a talent who can be promoted.

...Of course, in fact, everyone in the park is a character with epic potential, so how bad could they be?

However, whoever catches Qin Fang’s eye first will be the first to go up.

This is fate.

After thinking for a moment, Lin Fan nodded: ”You decide on this...”

Qin Fang nodded, then squinted and asked, ”So... what information have you found out about the Fallen Realm?”

”Indeed.”

Lin Fan straightened his expression and spoke.
