Chapter 251 Puppet Body, Flesh and Blood, First Step in Comprehending the Laws, Returning to the OriChapter 251 Puppet Body, Flesh and Blood, First Step in Comprehending the Laws, Returning to the Original State!

”The first step to mastering the laws is to make the power truly your own.”

After glancing at Qin Fang, the village chief slowly uttered these words.

That seems like a pointless statement.

Because his desire to master the power of laws is precisely because he wants to master true power.

”The first thing to do is to ’restore the original authenticity’.”

I couldn’t understand the second sentence.

”Restore...to the original state?” Qin Fang looked at it in confusion.

The old rabbit village chief took another sip of tea, his eyes clouded, and said, ”The moment the Myriad Realms Battle Domain descended, in order to make the many beings more adaptable to combat and more convenient to become carriers of the laws, possessing the power to drive the laws, all beings were replaced from flesh and blood bodies with ’puppet bodies’... Under these circumstances, the beings’ sense of pain was greatly reduced, and attacks that were not lethal could not cause physical injury...”

”This naturally has both advantages and disadvantages.”

”The advantage is that it makes living beings more fearless... Pain is a natural protection for living beings. Without the stimulation of pain, puppet-like living beings are naturally more willing to fight. At the same time, they lose their vital organs... All of these are advantageous in battle.”

”But the drawbacks are also obvious... It will numb living beings, making them completely slaves to the fragments of the laws. At the same time, they will be unable to possess any power that truly belongs to them.”

”Puppet... You can roughly guess from the name. All the power in its body comes from the infusion of the Myriad Realms Battle Domain, and it is completely taken away by the Myriad Realms Battle Domain... Such a puppet cannot cultivate laws, nor can it cultivate its own power.”

puppet!
Qin Fang was moved.

then……

He couldn’t help but sigh.

...Isn’t it just a puppet?

Skills are fragments of laws, and living beings are the carriers of those laws. In order to activate the laws, power is poured into them from thin air...

How is this any different from a robot?
A pile of scrap metal is artificially crafted into various parts, eventually assembled, and powered by electricity or some other energy source... Once the energy source is cut off, it becomes a pile of scrap metal again...

Puppet body...

Energy body...

Qin Fang pursed his lips.

He learned the nature of energy bodies.

But I still hesitated.

”Returning to my true self... what do I need to do? If I return to my true self, will I still be able to use my skills?”

”It’s just about restoring your original state, not about severing your connection with the Myriad Realms Battle Domain. The various powers you’ve gained are also rewards from the Myriad Realms Battle Domain... For example, why do you get experience points after entering a dungeon? And why do you gain various powers after your experience points are full?... These are actually rewards from the Myriad Realms Battle Domain for battle.”

”But the Battlefield of Myriad Realms also encourages living beings to comprehend the laws... otherwise, I would not exist here.”

”Therefore, returning to your original state will not make your power disappear. Rather... all the power you have now will become a huge help for you to comprehend the laws and acquire your own power later.”

”But once you return to your true form, you will no longer be a puppet, but a being of flesh and blood. You will have fatal weaknesses, experience extreme pain, and even become maimed... unless you reach a certain level on the path of the laws.”

”And some abilities unique to the puppet body will also be lost. For example... resurrection.”

Old Rabbit’s cloudy eyes seemed to see right through Qin Fang: ”After all, you are no longer a puppet, but a real living being of flesh and blood.”

”The path of laws is never an easy one. Seekers of the Dao die on the path... There are far too many examples of this. If you die, the fragments of laws contained within your body will naturally disintegrate and eventually be bestowed upon other beings by the Myriad Realms Battle Domain...”

Old Rabbit’s words stunned Qin Fang.

He fell into deep thought and hesitation.

But in the end, he let out a soft sigh.

What’s there to hesitate about?
Could I really be willing to be a puppet?
Moreover, Old Rabbit made it very clear... Earth has lost its divine fruit, and if it doesn’t follow this path, Earth will ultimately perish due to the lack of gods.

After all... there are only 3 years left in the protection period.

Actually, he had no choice.

”I understand... but that’s still far from the truth. What should we do?”

He asked the old rabbit.

The old rabbit had clearly anticipated Qin Fang’s answer. With a flick of its wrist, it produced a strange fruit that emitted a faint white light.

”The True Fruit, bestowed by the Myriad Realms Battle Domain, will reclaim your puppet body once you consume it.”

Qin Fang looked at the real fruit. The fruit was about the size of an apple, pure white, like jade, and had a very unique shape with concave and convex twisted patterns on it.

Qin lowered his mind and took it, but unexpectedly a prompt appeared on the panel.

[True Fruit: Restores the body to its original state after consumption.]

[Warning: After regaining your physical body, your protective energy will disappear, and you will regain your fatal weaknesses, becoming vulnerable to injury and crippling. You will no longer trigger any resurrection buffs upon death. Furthermore, you will lose the privilege of gaining experience points from killing monsters to level up… Please choose carefully.]

……

Qin Fang’s pupils contracted slightly as he looked at the prompt on the panel.

...They don’t even have the privilege of leveling up through experience anymore?
Right……

Old Rabbit just mentioned experience points, and it’s obvious that they’re for the puppet body.

...The aim is to encourage living beings to kill each other.

Since I am no longer a puppet, isn’t it normal that experience points are useless to me?
After a brief silence, he finally gritted his teeth and made a decision.

Fight!

For the power that truly belongs to you!
He took a bite of the fruit, which was crisp, sweet, and delicious. He ate it in a few bites and swallowed it.

”and then?”

”Wait a moment, it will take effect soon.”

The old rabbit smiled and nodded.

Qin Fang said no more and waited patiently.

But only for a short while...

Suddenly, a fiery sensation surged from his abdomen.

This sensation spread to my limbs at an extremely fast speed.

”This……”

His eyes widened.

The next moment, an intense, excruciating pain suddenly swept through my entire body!
”what!!”

He couldn’t help but let out a low growl, his whole body convulsing.

pain!
It hurts so much!
Having been a professional for over two years, he had long forgotten this extreme pain.

But now, he has found it again.

The excruciating pain left his mind blank, and he even felt numb all over, as if he were on fire, as if a razor was scraping his bones!
”what!!”

He could no longer bear it, and collapsed to the ground, his whole body convulsing. The extreme pain made his face contort, and in an instant, large beads of sweat covered his entire body.

pain!
Extreme pain!

But it’s not just about pain!

There’s also hemp!
My whole body feels numb, like my bones and skin are peeling off!
itch……

Crispy...

At this moment, almost all sorts of extreme sensations that the human body might experience came rushing out all at once!

”what!!!”

Even Qin Fang couldn’t help but let out a shrill scream.

His whole body was almost bent into a shrimp shape, and he was having spasms all over.

”That’s really how it is; just bear with it for a while.”

Old Rabbit had anticipated this and spoke gently from the side.

Qin Fang was practically cursing... Why didn’t you say so earlier?

But now, he didn’t even have the strength to curse. All sorts of extreme feelings permeated his body and occupied his entire brain.

Even his consciousness became somewhat blurred.

”Your willpower isn’t strong enough. You need to train it properly. Willpower is extremely important on the path of laws. Without an iron will, don’t even talk about the path of laws.”

The old rabbit sighed beside him.

Qin Fang was speechless.

The excruciating pain continued, continued...

Qin Fang didn’t know how much time had passed; it felt like an endless period of time.

At a certain moment... an indescribable coolness and comfort suddenly emerged from my bones.

This cool and comfortable sensation slowly crept over the burning, excruciating area, and immediately, the many extreme sensations in these areas seemed to melt away like ice and snow under the blazing sun...

Ok?
So comfortable!
The comfort of being completely immersed in cool liquid.

This feeling of comfort immediately filled his brain, making him snap out of it and clear his head!
...While the puppet body lost the extreme pain, it also...lost the feeling of extreme pleasure.

It’s always the same feeling, indifferent to warmth or cold.

but now……

After returning to his true self, all of Qin Fang’s feelings came back.

We’ve gone back to more than two years ago!
……

Finally, all the pain disappeared completely in this cool sensation.

Qin Fang lay on the ground in a daze for a moment before slowly getting up.

...He was drenched in sweat!
Since becoming an energy body, it has stopped sweating.

This feeling right now...

It’s indescribable, inexplicable.

...but very comfortable!
Qin Fang felt a sense of novelty as he experienced his body.

He clenched his fists, and you could feel the power in his muscles...

But that feeling disappeared at some point after I became an energy being...

Qin Fang was momentarily stunned.

It was as if he was truly feeling his own body for the first time.

All the senses that I hadn’t felt before becoming an energy body, and that I had ignored after becoming an energy body... all of them came back!
”Congratulations, you have taken the first step on the path of the laws.”

Old Rabbit smiled and said from the side.

Qin Fang snapped out of his daze, raised his head, and let out a long breath.

”Village chief, if it really hurt this much, you should have told me sooner, at least so I could have been mentally prepared...”

He said with a hint of helplessness.

”The point is to catch you off guard; only in this way can you fully and clearly perceive your own body right now.”

The old rabbit smiled, indicating that he had done it on purpose.

Qin Fang was stunned...

Fully perceive your own body...

This……

Okay, it seems that’s really the case.

After enduring pain for an unknown period of time, he seemed to have gained an unprecedented understanding of his own body.

Every bone, every fascia, every muscle...

Qin Fang let out a long breath, then looked up at Old Rabbit: ”Village Chief, what’s next?”

”Next... let’s find a place to stay.”

Old Rabbit said with a smile.

”Hmm?” Qin Fang blinked.

”You’ll probably need to stay in this instance for quite a while... Comprehending the laws isn’t something that can be done overnight.”

The old rabbit shook its head.

”Are we going to stay for a long time?” Qin Fang frowned. ”Approximately how long?”

”It depends on your own talent... When you grasp even a trace of the power of the laws, you will meet the conditions to leave the instance.”

”Is that so?”

Qin Fang frowned.

With a sudden thought, he looked at the panel and contacted Xiaoyou through internal communication.

”Xiaoyou?”

Soon, Xiaoyou replied: ”Brother? What’s wrong?”

”……fine.”

Qin breathed a sigh of relief...

You can contact me.

Then it’s okay.

He looked at the panel...

Currently, it seems that after being restored to its original state, apart from the body returning to its original flesh and blood form, nothing else has changed.

The panel is still there.

His various data remained unchanged.

Even the boss’s profession... has not changed at all.

Internal communication can also be used...

Since that’s the case, staying here doesn’t seem like a problem.

Anyway, Xiaoyou and the others are handling all the affairs of the park now, so he doesn’t really need to do anything.

”In that case... I’ll trouble you, Village Chief.”

Having just experienced extreme pain, Qin Fang now feels completely drained... especially mentally.

He didn’t rush to ask how to cultivate the power of laws.

Seeing that Qin Fang so easily accepted the request to stay here for a while longer, it smiled slightly and said, ”It’s alright... Let’s go, I’ll find you a room.”

Qin Fang nodded.

The village chief got up and walked outside.

The little rabbits outside the house had been watching Qin Fang the whole time. When Qin Fang suddenly collapsed to the ground and howled in pain, they were terrified and then very anxious, circling around the doorway.

[It seems the outsider has been poisoned!]

Did the village chief’s grandmother intend to offer him mushrooms, but mistakenly gave him poisonous ones?!

[What?! Poisonous mushrooms?! Isn’t that stranger going to die?! What do we do?!]

Looking at the automatic translation on the panel, Qin Fang was both amused and exasperated.

He followed the old rabbit out and saw that the old rabbit had just called over a grumpy rabbit. The grumpy rabbit was two or three meters tall, while the old rabbit, who was only one and a half meters tall, was not even as tall as its knee. But the grumpy rabbit was not grumpy at all; on the contrary, it was very respectful to the old rabbit.

As the old rabbit spoke, he pointed to Qin Fang. The grumpy rabbit looked over, then gave Qin Fang a hearty smile and nodded.

Qin Fang was a little taken aback for a moment, but then nodded in acknowledgment.

...A giant, grumpy rabbit, with a rabbit head on its head, is smiling at itself...

That’s really strange.

As he was thinking this, he suddenly felt an itch on his leg, as if something was tugging at his trouser leg.

He subconsciously looked down and saw a little rabbit craning its neck to look at him... It was a gray rabbit, only a dozen centimeters tall, tiny, with clear black eyes looking at him curiously.

Looking at its fluffy head and its big, bright black eyes, Qin Fang couldn’t resist bending down and reaching out to pat its head.

The little rabbit didn’t dodge, letting Qin Fang stroke its head, and then even showed an expression of enjoyment, rubbing its cheek against Qin Fang’s trouser leg.

Qin Fang immediately smiled, reached out and carefully picked it up, then petted it in his arms.

The little rabbit let him do as he pleased, and even looked like it was enjoying it.

[Ugh, Nako is so annoying! She let a stranger hold her first!]

The stranger’s hooves are so big and look so soft; it would feel so nice to touch them on my head...

I really want to be hugged by someone from out of town...

The little rabbits all pricked up their ears, looking at Qin Fang with curiosity and anticipation.

Looking at the translation on the panel, Qin Fang couldn’t help but smile...

Is it the planet Ribit, or the Ribit race?

...It seems like living here would be quite nice?
