Mythical Professions are all my employees

Chapter 176 A Frenzy of Recruitment, A Sea of Followers: The Current Situation in Jintong CityChapter 176 A Frenzy of Recruitment, A Sea of Followers: The Current Situation in Jintong City

”What?! The amusement park is hiring?! Really?! You’re not kidding me!”

In the past two days, an explosive piece of news has spread between Iron Fang and Lingtai, leaving all the professionals stunned and wide-eyed.

Then came the excitement.

”I also have the chance to join the park?!”

”I’m going, I’m going!”

”Haha, from now on I’m part of the amusement park too!!”

The vast majority of people were excited.

There is no other reason.

The park is now too famous in Iron Teeth and Spirit Terrace.

That’s a legendary organization with professional members and an epic-level membership!
The public battle against the dungeon boss several months ago is still being talked about with great enthusiasm.

As the saying goes, it’s good to have a big tree to lean on for shade.

In Iron Teeth, what tree is bigger than Paradise?
Even the combat division is no good!
”Aren’t you overthinking this? It’s not recruiting official members, but rather its ’Auction Paradise’ that’s hiring... the kind where you can’t even meet the boss or the epic members.”

But soon, someone poured cold water on everyone’s enthusiasm.

Everyone was stunned.

”Auction Paradise?...What’s that?”

”An auction house under the name of Paradise...similar to the current staff of Paradise Academy.”

”Huh? Not a formal member?”

”Pfft, do you not have a mirror at home and don’t pee? What rank do you have? You dare to dream of becoming a formal member of Paradise?”

”What’s wrong? You look down on elite professions? Want to try it out?”

”Uh...sorry, boss, my voice was too loud...”

”Even elites are useless... I heard that the Paradise only accepts epic-level classes as official members...”

”Where did you get this information from?”

”Rumors...”

”The message coming from that path?”

”...You already told me it was a rumor, why are you still asking?”

The crowd immediately became noisy.

But soon someone asked, ”That amusement park auction... is it definitely under the amusement park’s umbrella? Or is it some kind of fake name like amusement park breakfast or amusement park security?”

”It’s confirmed. I heard the news came from the Combat Division. It’s confirmed that the Paradise Auction is under Paradise’s control.”

”Then I’ll go in too!”

”I can’t even see the official members...”

”So what? No matter what, to outsiders, I’m considered one of Paradise’s people! And if I do a good job, who knows, one day those big shots might be in a good mood and give me some benefits... That’s Paradise, after all! Even a little bit of benefit leaking from the fingers of those epic big shots would be enough to make me stuffed!”

”Hey, that makes sense... Come on, let’s sign up! We don’t want to fill all the spots!”

”Yeah……”

Professionals flocked to the recruitment offices of the ’Paradise Auction’ in both cities.

……

A month ago, Lin Fan purchased two buildings in the cities of Tieya and Lingtai, spending 200,000 gold coins on each.

The buildings are all located in prime locations in the city centers of both cities. They were all newly built and purchased with the help of the Professional Warfare Division.

The upstairs is currently being rearranged... while recruitment is underway on the first floor.

Sitting in a teahouse across the street, Lin Fan watched the bustling recruitment scene across the street, observing the young woman directing various tasks.

The young woman, dressed in a professional outfit, looked less naive and shy, and more capable and efficient.

It was his girlfriend, Liu Yingying.

She originally planned to go to university in another city, but after reconciling with Lin Fan, she naturally gave up the idea of continuing her studies... Anyway, she wouldn’t learn much useful knowledge at university.

At most, universities have some resources that are difficult for ordinary professionals to access.

But Liu Yingying now... naturally doesn’t lack these resources.

After several months of training, Liu Yingying has shed her student naiveté and gradually developed a powerful aura as a professional woman.

...Although sometimes I still feel a bit overwhelmed.

These past two days have been the preliminary selection period, and so far we have received more than 5,000 resumes.

The number of people to be recruited this time is tentatively set at 1,100.

Five hundred each for Tieya and Lingtai, and the remaining one hundred will be taken to Jindong City later... and then another four hundred will be recruited in Jindong.

These 500 people will basically be the main staff of the auction house. They will be assigned to various departments under the auction house, such as the auction department, marketing and communications department, customer service department, customer relations department, logistics department, security department, and human resources department.

Since we’ve started an auction house, we naturally need to run it professionally and not tarnish the reputation of the amusement park, right?
Therefore, these departments are still very important.

Even though the park has a relatively stable source of auction items... this is only temporary.

As the park grows larger, it becomes increasingly difficult to supply more and more auction houses with just the core and backbone layers.

Naturally, this necessitates expanding business externally.

Paradise Academy is for making a name for itself; it doesn’t make money, it actually loses money.

Naturally, the auction house is needed to generate revenue to supply Paradise Academy... Otherwise, with more and more expenses incurred, the core and backbone layers will become overwhelmed.

...After all, they also need to keep some money for themselves.

”This amusement park auction... is it really under the amusement park’s name?”

At this recruitment event, this is the question being asked the most.

The recruitment staff member smiled and nodded, saying, ”Yes.”

”Was it started by the boss?”

“That’s right.”

”So... if we join, will we have a chance to meet the boss, Xiao, Yan, and other members of the amusement park?” they asked expectantly. ”That’s uncertain... after all, those adults are very busy every day. But there’s still a chance,” the staff member replied with a smile.

”Okay, I’m signing up! What do I need to do?”

”There are forms over there, please fill them out and attach four 4-inch passport photos of yourself... If you don’t have them, there’s a free photo booth over there, you can get them right away... Also, today is just a recruitment event, we will contact you by phone to schedule the interview. It will be no later than a week. So please keep an eye on your phone or messages this week.”

”Okay, let me see...”

They picked up the recruitment form and started looking at it.

”Name...Age...Gender...Occupation...Rank...Position...”

It’s just some very basic information.

The scene was bustling and vibrant.

The recruitment event continued until 8 p.m., when it ended, and people kept coming in.

It can only be said that the amusement park’s appeal in Iron Teeth City is simply astonishing.

……

”I’m exhausted today... I feel like I’ve never been this tired even after fighting monsters all day...”

That evening at Lin Fan and Liu Yingying’s home, Liu Yingying nestled in Lin Fan’s arms, her long, stockinged legs draped over him, as if she were being affectionate.

Lin Fan did not attend this recruitment meeting, leaving it entirely to Liu Yingying and several other peripheral members.

In fact, Lin Fan will not personally appear in the subsequent series of tasks.

As a member of the core group, he naturally wouldn’t show his face in public.

You can coordinate these executives from behind the scenes.

After Lin Fan’s observation and testing, some of the recruited executives who were deemed trustworthy have been approved by Qin Fang and have had channels of communication with him opened.

But it was just a conversation.

In fact, he had never met them.

Upon hearing this, Lin Fan smiled and took her stockinged feet in his hands, gently rubbing them, which immediately made Liu Yingying’s pretty face turn red.

She awkwardly tried to pull her feet away but couldn’t escape his clutches. She muttered, ”My feet aren’t tired... it’s just that I have so much to do, I feel mentally exhausted...”

Professionals are born to be tireless; they can work all day without feeling any impact on their combat effectiveness.

...as long as stamina can be replenished in time.

However, in non-combat situations, stamina is consumed very slowly.

How many resumes did you receive today?

Lin Fan rubbed his little feet while asking with a smile.

”We received over four thousand today, and the news has already spread...”

When asked about work, Liu Yingying answered immediately.

That’s right... Paradise Auction is under Paradise’s control; it was information spread by Lin Fan.

The rumor that the amusement park only recruits epic-level professionals as official members was spread by Lin Fan at Qin Fang’s behest.

The goal, of course, is to expand influence and enable the auction house to recruit a sufficient number of people.

...After all, they are recruiting professionals. Even ordinary professionals might not be willing to be employees of an auction house.

But if people knew that there was a powerful organization with all its members being epic figures, and even a legendary leader... then the appeal would be completely different.

But it seems that... its appeal is a bit too strong.

After thinking for a moment, Lin Fan said, ”Then let’s recruit for another day tomorrow, and then start the interview process... Have you noted down the interview and recruitment requirements?”

Do you think I’m stupid?

Liu Yingying kicked her little foot in dissatisfaction before saying, ”Age 18-24, good figure and appearance, cheerful personality, gentle temperament, patient, responsible and with a strong sense of collective honor... You’ve said that so many times.”

”Alright, alright, you’re the smartest...” Lin Fan said with a doting smile.

After playing around for a while, Liu Yingying got up to take a shower, and then the two went to bed.

As for what happened after we got into bed... that’s not something I can tell outsiders.

……

The next period was the interview stage, and everything went smoothly. The number of applicants exceeded expectations, and the interviews ended a week later.

Of these, 1,100 people signed contracts with the auction house.

The amusement park’s auction system is very strict... Once a contract is signed, the first thing to do is to forget your professional identity. From now on, everyone who comes to the door is a guest, and even if it is just an ordinary person, you must greet them with humility.

However, the auction house also offers excellent benefits... The monthly salary is 100 gold coins, which is considered a very high salary for the vast majority of ordinary professionals.

They also promised that after the official opening, they would organize a trip to the secret realm every three months to train people to a higher level... This really made many people’s eyes light up.

Leveling up in secret realms is much, much faster than in dungeons. They know this.

However, most people are not qualified to level up in secret realms... The monsters are too high-level, too numerous and too dense, and the external environment is not as safe as a dungeon.

However, with amusement park-organized leveling sessions... the safety is naturally beyond question.

...They witnessed the power of the amusement park during that boss battle.

In this situation, everyone is highly motivated and willing to accept even the strict management rules.

...After all, the vast majority are just ordinary professionals.

In such a world, ordinary professionals are only slightly better off than ordinary people.

……

The auction houses of Tieya and Lingtai gradually got on track, and soon after, one hundred employees who were willing to leave the two cities arrived in Jindong City.

Today, Jindong City has been turned into a monolithic entity by Cai Chen.

Several months ago, the United Front Work Department issued a formal order, and Cai Chen has now become the director of the Jin Dong City Professional Warfare Department.

Before becoming the bureau chief, Cai Chen had already forcefully suppressed the other deputy bureau chiefs. After becoming the bureau chief, this was even more true.

The members of the Jin Dong City Professional Combat Division have been training for the past few months... mainly to unify their thinking and completely eradicate any past timidity towards other races.

Therefore, things have been rather unsettled outside Jin Dong City for some time now.
