”Hello...hello? Are you still listening?”

Qin Fang was so excited that it took Yu Qianqiu’s voice to ring on the phone for a long time before he came back to his senses.

”Yes, yes,” he replied quickly.

Yu Qianqiu was speechless: ”Where did you go?... Never mind, what do we say now? Are you still recruiting?”

Qin Fang only needed to achieve the required corporate reputation to set up the school. In theory, now that the mission is accomplished, even if the school isn’t set up later, he has already achieved his goal.

But after thinking about it for a moment, he still asked, ”How many students do other schools usually have?”

”The larger ones cost a little over 1, while the smaller ones cost a few thousand,” Yu Qianqiu said helplessly.

”Huh?” Qin Fang was dumbfounded: ”That doesn’t mean...”

”Yes, your Paradise Academy hasn’t been built yet... but it’s already the largest school in both Tieya and Lingtai cities... Director Shen didn’t expect the advertising to be so effective, and he’s having a headache about it now. I guess we’ll have to open multiple school districts.”

Yu Qianqiu remained silent.

Qin Fang’s teeth felt a little sore.

After thinking for a moment, he said, ”Can we acquire those existing schools?”

”You want to acquire other schools?” Yu Qianqiu was taken aback for a moment, then frowned and pondered. After a while, she said, ”Have you thought this through? There are quite a few schools in each city. If you acquire a school, it means that the students who were originally in that school will also be transferred to Paradise... Tuition and fees will be completely free, and room and board will be provided... You’re really generous. This will require a huge expenditure every day from now on. Are you sure?”

Qin Fang’s teeth ached slightly. He hadn’t expected the results to be so good; he thought he’d only get a maximum of ten or twenty thousand students. But in just two days, even in the pre-registration stage, the number had already exceeded thirty to fifty thousand…

Once the school is officially established, won’t the number of students be over 100,000?

Two cities, that’s two hundred thousand!
That’s two hundred thousand mouths that need to be fed every day!
This requires at least 10,000 to 20,000 gold coins every day!

That’s five or six hundred thousand gold coins a month!

The amount of gold coins exceeded expectations by far more than the originally planned 100,000.

The key issue is that because it doesn’t charge tuition or other fees, Paradise Academy is purely an output-oriented institution with no self-generated revenue... This is clearly not conducive to long-term development.

”Add a clause: tuition and fees will be fully waived, and room and board will be provided, but only for students from financially disadvantaged families... for example, whose parents are both ordinary citizens and whose families have no other professionals. Others, if they want to come to Paradise Academy, will have to follow the regular school system...”

Yu Qianqiu paused for a moment, then thought for a moment and said, ”It’s feasible. But have you thought it through... Even so, the final number of applicants will probably be over 100,000, or even 150,000. After all, professional families are going to the academy because of the name ’Paradise,’ and the fees for a regular school are not expensive for them. And right now, there isn’t even a single school district... so it’s foreseeable that it will definitely exceed the budget.”

”Then let’s control the number of students admitted... tentatively set at 50,000, with priority given to students from ordinary families,” Qin Fang said after thinking for a moment.

“But Iron Teeth City already has 50,000 people…and it’s increasing every moment.” Yu Qianqiu said helplessly.

”...Where would Iron Fang find so many children of school age?” Qin Fang was speechless.

”You’re a professional, so you don’t care... but for ordinary people, having a professional in the family is a chance to change their fate. So what do you think... ordinary people do at home when they have nothing to do?”

After a pause, Yu Qianqiu quietly uttered these words.

Qin Fang was immediately speechless.

Yes, for ordinary families, having a professional in the family is their only chance to change their fate.

In this situation... what can they do when they have nothing to do?

He thought for a long time, and finally sighed, ”Then let’s increase it to 80,000... 50,000 ordinary families and 30,000 working families. Limited quotas.”

”As for the budget... if it’s over, so be it. We can discuss how much more we need later, and I’ll give it to you then.”

Now that things have started, Qin Fang doesn’t want to break his promise.

For a company, reputation is still very important.

Moreover, Iron Teeth and Lingtai are only piloting this system at present... His need for corporate prestige will continue to increase. Since this method works in Iron Teeth and Lingtai, it will definitely work in other cities as well.

That means we must ensure that the park’s reputation is trustworthy.

Otherwise... even if communication is inconvenient, it doesn’t mean there’s absolutely no communication between cities.

As he becomes more and more active, the reputation of the amusement park will surely grow, and it will definitely spread among professionals.

Once a company’s reputation is ruined, it will be difficult to regain its goodwill through similar tactics.

”Is that so...? Okay, then I’ll make the arrangements... But are you really not sending someone over? Your contact information isn’t reliable, it’s inconvenient to communicate about many things...”

Yu Qianqiu said helplessly.

After thinking for a moment, Qin Fang said, ”Well... let’s talk about it later.”

Upon hearing Qin Fang’s words, Yu Qianqiu could only sigh helplessly once again.

The two discussed the details a bit more before finally hanging up.

Qin Fang let out a soft breath...

The drawbacks of the park’s organizational structure are becoming increasingly apparent.

As I said before... if you want to accomplish great things, you definitely need a sufficiently large grassroots level.

The amusement park is still small, with only a handful of staff. Even with its big name, it lacks the capacity to implement anything of significant impact.

After all, it’s not convenient for any of the members to show their faces directly right now.

Qin Fang’s ideal paradise should be the ’core layer,’ such as Qin Xiaoyou, Lin Fan, Bai Yangyang, and the others... and the ’backbone layer,’ which is the other epic professionals currently being recruited.

Then there’s the ’outer perimeter’.

In other words, the foundation. The demand for this external sector is enormous and should be divided into many different development directions. The more people involved, the better—tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands would be ideal…

The outer layers are managed in layers, then the core layer leads the outer layers, and the core layer leads the core layer...

Only through such layered management can the park’s potential be fully realized.

But right now... it only has a core layer; the framework of the backbone layer hasn’t even been built yet.

Not to mention the grassroots level...

”Sigh... Let’s take it one step at a time and see what the awakened skill I get after the advancement tomorrow can achieve...”

Qin Fang’s eyes flickered.

The next awakening skill will definitely be related to communication. This is because it’s used in conjunction with the quest system, and that was already decided beforehand.

But in terms of communications... to what extent can it be achieved?
He had no idea.

Given the nature of the ’boss’ profession... while it’s called communication, we can actually expect its functions to be far more complex than simple communication...

Thinking of this, Qin Fang looked at the headhunting company. There were still about ten hours left before the cooling-off period ended.

This made him somewhat impatient...

……

More than ten hours passed in the blink of an eye.

The new admission requirements for Paradise Academy have been posted, causing a sensation.

”Due to the overwhelming enthusiasm, the number of places available has far exceeded expectations. Due to limitations, we are now issuing updated admission requirements. Please review them carefully.”

”1. Tuition and fees are waived, and room and board remain unchanged, but this is only for impoverished families without a working member. Families with a combat professional at rank 1 will not receive this benefit and will be charged according to normal school fees. Please be aware.”

”Second, there is a limit to the number of places available. The total number of places is 80,000, of which 50,000 are allocated to families without working members. The remaining 30,000 are for families with working members... Please do not withdraw your children from school blindly, so as to avoid exceeding the limit and causing a situation where no one can enroll.”

”three……”

These conditions were quickly known to both those who had registered and those who had not yet registered.

This unsurprisingly caused a sensation.

”Isn’t this just messing with people? They said before that tuition would be free and room and board included, but now it’s only for ordinary families?”

”Exactly, how could they do this?”

Many people complained, feeling that the amusement park had gone back on its word.

But some people expressed understanding: ”Are you just not satisfied with getting a good deal? If you think the amusement park is taking advantage of people, please leave. They’ve made it very clear. They didn’t expect so many people to sign up, it exceeded their expectations. But even so, they clearly stated that 50,000 children from ordinary families can enroll... What more do you want?”

”The amusement park’s move is clearly aimed at children from ordinary families, out of pity for the difficulty ordinary families face in sending their children to school... If you have working professionals in your family, the cost of sending your children to school is not a problem for you, right? If you don’t want to come, then don’t come, and you’re already complaining?”

”Exactly, what kind of humanity is this! This school isn’t just going to be open for a day or two, it’s going to be open indefinitely, and it’s going to have nearly 80,000 students in total... The initial construction of the schools probably involved more than one or two... And afterwards, it’ll be responsible for the food and lodging of 50,000 students every day... All of this is being paid for by the amusement park! What more do you want?”

But there were clearly more reasonable people; as soon as they started to complain, they were rebuffed.

The complainers’ expressions changed one by one, but having incurred the wrath of the crowd, they dared not say more and slunk away.

As a result, even more people signed up.

The quota has been clearly defined!

If you don’t report it now, you really won’t be able to get in later.

……

Meanwhile, Qin Fang had already been searching for the last epic employee needed for Mission 2 through a headhunting company.

……

Another day has passed in the blink of an eye.

Qin Fang has obtained information on the last epic member.

He glanced at his biography instinctively, which made him pause slightly...

Because this person is actually from a city, a member of the Combat Division?

And then look again...

”Jindong City... an ordinary member of the Professional Combat Division?”

This piqued his interest, and he began to carefully examine the other person’s life story.

”Does he harbor deep dissatisfaction with the leadership of the Combat Command? Does he believe their attitude towards foreign races is too weak?”

Qin Fang’s eyes gradually brightened.

This... isn’t this exactly the ’hardliner’ I’ve been looking for?
The upgrade quest is now in its final stages, and the upgrade is imminent.

The core members have all reached level 2.

The layout of the combat divisions in each city... seems like we can start to explore that now?
Qin Fang became completely serious and carefully examined the other party’s condition...

The more I look at this employee, the more I feel that this person is someone I should pay a little more attention to...
