First Magician

Chapter 3 Magic PerceptionChapter 3 Magic Perception
After getting this ”Basics of Magic”, Moranxiu devoted himself to practicing magic without sleeping or eating. From the book, Moran Xiu learned many rumors about magic.

In the Holy Spirit Continent, the levels of magicians are roughly divided into nine levels.Among them, first-level, second-level, and third-level magicians are called junior magicians (low-level magicians); fourth-level, fifth-level, and sixth-level magicians are called intermediate magicians; Advanced magician.Among them, a high-level magician is also called a great magician, and the status of a great magician is no less noble than those high-ranking nobles in the royal city.

In the royal city, many nobles are proud to be able to get acquainted with a great magician.Because the number of great magicians in the kingdom is far lower than the number of nobles. This is not only true of the Kingdom of Carlisle, but also of any kingdom or empire on the continent.

The ninth-level magician is also called a magister. In the entire Carlisle Kingdom, there are only five magisters who are recorded in the books and are still alive. Among them, the high priest in the palace is a magister.

As for the holy magister, it is only a legendary existence. Although there are some legends about the holy magister recorded in the history of the kingdom’s magician guild, they are far out of reach in the eyes of ordinary people. In the entire history of the Kingdom of Carlisle, it is said that there are only two holy magisters, but no one has ever seen their true colors, and no one knows where they are. What they left in the kingdom is nothing but Just two names.

To become a real magician, two necessary conditions must be met.

First, one must have a strong element perception, so that one can sense the power of elements existing in nature.

Second, one must have strong mental power. The stronger the mental power, the more magic power can be absorbed and stored, and the more precise the control of magic will be.

”Mo Lanxiu!!” Maud stood outside his son’s room door and called Moranxiu’s name.

At this time, one month has passed since Mr. Magician came to the village. During this month, Moranxiu has never stopped practicing magic. Meals are delivered by Maud.

”What’s the matter, father?” Moranxiu opened the door, stuck out his small head and asked suspiciously.

”Mo Lanxiu, it is not so easy to become a magician. Among the dozen or so villages near our village, I have never heard of any child becoming a magician. Moranxiu, you must No, go to Mora today to continue learning hunting skills.” Maud also hoped that his son could become a magician, but that was too far away, and hunting skills are the foundation of the hunter family in the mountains.

If his son didn’t become a magician in the end, and he wasn’t proficient in hunting, it would be troublesome. In that way, it may be very difficult to even marry a daughter-in-law.

”Okay, father.” Moranxiu nodded briskly, and then closed the door.

”Mo Lanxiu, you won’t be angry, are you?” Maud frowned.

”Father, why am I angry? I haven’t been to Uncle Mora’s training for a month, and my hands are itchy.” Moranxiu quickly put on the animal skin clothes in the room, opened the door of the room again, and smiled Said.

Maude breathed a sigh of relief, he didn’t want Moranxiu to practice hunting skills out of anger.

In a month, Moranxiu had completely memorized the basics of magic. So, now he doesn’t need to hide in his room to read.Even while learning hunting skills, you can get close to nature.

Every day during the day, Moranxiu’s figure would appear in the training ground of Uncle Mora’s house. And at night, Moranxiu came to the woods on the edge of the village alone, feeling the majestic elements between heaven and earth, even though he couldn’t feel anything now.

According to ”Basics of Magic”, the stronger a person’s sensitivity is, the more elemental power he can sense, and the faster he can practice magic. And a person’s induction power usually does not change throughout his life, and his mental power will slowly increase with the increase of his own magic power. The most important thing for a magician is spiritual power, which is related to the final achievement of a magician.

If the mental power is low, no matter how strong the induction power is, he cannot become a powerful magician.Simply put, induction is related to the speed of absorbing elements, and mental power is related to the amount of magic power stored.

Moranxiu sat quietly on the grass, breathing slowly, trying to feel the mysteries of nature.Every night, this is something he must do, even if it is windy and rainy, it will never stop.

The first step to becoming a magician is to truly sense the power of the elements in nature.

In a blink of an eye, three months have passed.Moranxiu’s induction still did not improve significantly, but Moranxiu still insisted on practicing without any disappointment or discouragement. That night, Moranxiu sat on the grass outside the village as before, closed his eyes, and thought about the steps of those sensing elements in his mind.

Suddenly, he felt as if something touched his finger. Although it was very light, Moranxiu, who was in a state of high concentration, still felt it.He opened his eyes quickly, but saw nothing.

”Could it be an illusion?” Moranxiu closed his eyes again and entered the state just now.

This time, Moranxiu felt more clearly something like wind playing with his hands. That’s right, it feels like the wind, a very active wind.

Moranxiu knew very well that there was not even a little wind tonight. And what is sensed between the hands seems to be the power of the elements mentioned in ”Magic Fundamentals”.

”Four months of practice, have you finally made progress?” Moranxiu’s cheerful mood did not stop him from continuing to communicate with those elements.

Moranxiu still closed his eyes, trying to calm down. Those wonderful elements also dance happily at his fingertips.

When you really sense the magic elements, you have to communicate with them, then absorb them, and transform them into your own stored magic power.

Moranxiu recalled what was said in the book, and began to slowly experiment with communicating with magic elements. In fact, this kind of communication is just a familiar process. Magical elements are inanimate, and of course they cannot communicate with humans. But human beings can be familiar with them and then absorb them.

After trying for a whole night, Moranxiu failed to absorb even a little bit of elemental power. But he wasn’t discouraged at all, after all, he could already feel them, which was a great improvement.

In the early morning, when Moranxiu came home, Maude sighed slightly. If a magician could be found to teach Moranxiu, perhaps his precious son would not have to work so hard. But how can they have the money to hire a magician?Besides, magicians are not so easy to find.

”Mo Lanxiu, have you made any progress?” Maud asked with an expectant expression as much as possible. Every morning, he would ask this question.

Mo Lanxiu rolled his eyes slightly. It was useless to tell his father the news now. Father didn’t know what the power of elements was. He only knew that magicians could release fireballs, but he didn’t have any magic power at all, let alone release it. fireball. So, he decided not to tell his father.

”Not yet.” Moranxiu walked to the edge of the table and sat down, picked up the porridge and drank it.

”Mo Lanxiu, son, you will succeed.” Maud patted his son on the shoulder and said in a firm voice.

In fact, in his heart, he felt sorry for Moranxiu’s hard work every day. He even wanted Moranxiu to give up magic, but every time he saw his son’s fiery eyes on magic, he couldn’t give up. Moranxiu gave up the words of practicing magic.

”I will succeed, father.” Moranxiu nodded his head and said in the same firm voice.
