Chapter 502: Chapter 271 The 100% Successful Universal Lock-Picking Method_2”What should we do, let me think about what to do.” Wolf was certainly not as composed as Jiang Shu, this situation could be considered thrilling in his entire police career.

Falling into the hands of a chairman who scoffs at the law, who knows what would happen; to him, the two officers who could not reveal their identities were simply two insignificant underlings who could be beaten or killed at whim.

Even if they dared not kill a police officer, there would still be no good end for the two of them.

”Hmm?” The next moment, Wolf’s gaze fell on a fire hose in a nearby fire cabinet, and he instantly perked up, took large strides forward, and smashed the glass of the cabinet with a punch to take out the fire hose inside.

The head of the fire hose was made of metal and looked quite substantial.

This was also one of the few door-breaking tools Wolf could find now; his Mantis Blade was too thin, even though it was made from special steel, it couldn’t handle the task of breaking down doors.

”Step back a bit.” Wolf wrapped the rubber hose around his hand, then swung the metal head of the hose vigorously towards the security door.

”Bang— Bang—” Wolf tried, the metal head got deformed by the impact, but it still couldn’t break the security door, not even making a dent.

Obviously, the security door was of good quality, positioned there with no expectation that someone could break it with brute force.

”Save your energy,” said Jiang Shu, who was standing behind Wolf, stopping Wolf’s futile effort. He had already seen the blood seeping from the cracks in Wolf’s knuckles, indicating how forcefully and desperately Wolf had been trying.

”You seem quite unconcerned?” Finally, Wolf noticed Jiang Shu’s odd demeanor, and he turned around to look at him with a hint of confusion. ”Do you have a good way to open the door?”

”What do you want to do once the door is opened?” Instead of answering directly, Jiang Shu questioned back.

”Leave here, contact Thirteen District Police Station.” Wolf responded without hesitation. ”Our mission has already failed, staying here now is meaningless.”

He cast a suspicious glance at Jiang Shu. ”So, you have a way to get us out of here?”

”More or less.” Jiang Shu still responded vaguely, as if waiting for some opportune moment.

”Hurry up with whatever method you have, soon they will send someone to check this stairwell, and then none of us can escape.” Wolf also contained his urge to curse, finding Jiang Shu’s calm demeanor especially annoying at this moment.

”Alright, watch carefully, I’ll teach you a 100 percent effective lock-picking method.” Jiang Shu spread his hands, showing them to Wolf, then clapped them together, pulling a black thread from the palm of one hand with the other, ”You only need a single thread.”

”Uh-huh.” Wolf looked expectantly at Jiang Shu.

Is this another magic trick?

And it can open locks 100 percent of the time?

Just with this simple piece of string?

Wolf suddenly became interested.

He saw Jiang Shu holding one end of the string, then standing in front of the security door, gathering his breath.

The security door had double panels, so there was a very thin gap between the two doors, and in the middle of the gap was a square mechanical lock.

Jiang Shu threaded one end of the string through the gap, then held both ends to form a loop.

”Watch carefully.” He then said, his expression extremely serious as he manipulated the string loop repeatedly through intricate movements.

”Uh-huh.” Wolf’s gaze was intently focused on Jiang Shu’s hands, his eyes wide open, memorizing every movement of threading by Jiang Shu.

Suddenly, Jiang Shu stopped his movements, having finished what seemed like a craft of rope.

The thread that passed through the gap formed a simple triangular structure, taut and extremely stable.

Then Jiang Shu let go of his hands, slowly retreating with the rope still in that stable state, explaining: ”Look, this string is now extremely stable. I can fully let go of it without anything happening, but once there’s a severe vibration on the string...”

”Vibration? What then?” Wolf listened intently.

”Just like this.” Jiang Shu’s hands clearly weren’t touching the door or the string in the gap, but the string slowly began to vibrate as if an invisible force were acting on it.

”Click—” The lock just opened like that.

”oooooh—” A surprised expression immediately appeared on Wolf’s face; the lock had actually just opened like that!

The safety door opened, and little Ding was floating near the lock, holding a black card in its hand.

The earlier vibration of the string was just little Ding pulling the string to signal Jiang Shu that it had arrived.

All Jiang Shu did was pass the string through the gap in the door.

Wolf: ”???”

”Ahem.” Jiang Shu’s face showed no embarrassment, ”Isn’t a 100 percent effective way to unlock just like this? Either you have the key, or you get someone with the key to open it for you.”

”...”

Wolf was left speechless by these words.

”You didn’t think magic was omnipotent, did you?” Jiang Shu also began to joke, ”If it really were omnipotent, why wouldn’t I just draw a magic door and take you straight through?”
