Super Electric Eel Avatar

139 The Evolution Of Electric Eel
The money was not a thing that he could rush about, and it took Chen Fan more than half an hour to put the dollar bills on the ground into the cabin and then tighten the door.

Patting his hands that were covered with copper fragrance of the money, Chen Fan jumped onto the yacht.

The three ghost hair jellyfish’s poison sacs, through this period of metamorphosis, had become ghost moon incense. Now Chen Fan kept them in the metal box in the yacht with the other five-piece.

Just as he opened the big aluminum alloy box, an extremely strong scent immediately dashed into Chen Fan’s nostrils, then the electric eel in the water subconsciously jittered, as if it had taken drugs and was desperate to devour all of them including the box.

Eight pieces; five pieces were light grey, 20 centimeters in size, and three egg size crystals.

”According to the time taken by the last two ghost moon incense to digest, the eight pieces, if taken one at a time, would take about 13 days to fully digest,” Chen Fan said, wiping the saliva drooling from his mouth, forcing himself to suppress the desire to eat.

After five seconds of thinking, Chen Fan decided to give all eight ghost moon incenses to the electric eel in one go. After all, 13 days was too long, and Chen Fan didn’t think that the electric eel could endure the desire for so many days.

Controlling the electric eel’s mouth to open wide, Chen Fan squatted on the steps, throwing the ghost moon incense into the mouth of the electric eel.

The electric eel swallowed it as if it were fairy’s meat and immediately backed out of the dockyard with half a billion dollars and swam between the coral reefs and the cave.

It took 10 minutes to reach the cave that was 100 meters deep, and Chen Fan was lying in the driver’s seat of the car with his eyes closed and carefully felt the feeling of being inside the electric eel’s body.

Eight ghost moon incenses, the combination of all them didn’t amount to the size of a bucket in the electric eel’s super-large stomach. It would not even cause a wave.

Slowly, the white crystals, which were melted by the gastric juice, began to enter the intestines and were then surrounded and absorbed by the capillaries that were attached to the intestines and were eventually transferred into the bloodstream.

Warm...

Just like the warmness in the hot spring, and the whole body felt lazy. He was even too lazy to open his eyes.

About half an hour later, Chen Fan was almost comfortable enough to snore.

Now the electric eel was not just lazy, even the muscles and the bones were beginning to feel flaky if it were the feeling of a hot spring.

The feeling at this moment was like a drug addict who has just come out of a compulsory rehab, and then he is invited to a hot spring and is taking a high degree of pure opium. So comfortable!

”Would the electric eel become addicted like being addicted to smoking?” Chen Fan thought maliciously in his heart.

For the time being, there was nothing unusual about the electric eel. Chen Fan decided to go back to the house and stay back to see what had happened to the electric eel.

Back home, Chen Fan took a bath, then dumped himself into the bed.

The electric eel was still the same, too lazy to move. Chen Fan observed it for a few minutes, and then he couldn’t help but fall asleep.

...........

At six in the morning, Chen Fan was awakened by a strong sense of hunger, not from his own belly but from the electric eel’s.

It’s hard to describe the feeling. The hunger was so strong that it felt like eating its own claws.

The crystals in the electric eel’s stomach still hadn’t been digested fully. It felt lazy and hungry at the same time. Chen Fan had to transfer his mind to the electric eel, and with hungry eyes began searching for a huge school of fish nearby.

Within two or three miles, a large group of fish could not be found, but there was a large number of fried mackerel.

Boom...

A strong bluish-white electric light spread like a virus to a 700-meter diameter around the electric eel. The mackerels, which were originally vigorously moving, were immediately stunned.

Roar...

The electric eel opened its mouth wide and dashed to the whole group of fish like a tornado.

The electric eel gobbled up more than 30,000 mackerel. Except for a few that had escaped, they all went into the electric eel’s belly.

As its belly had expanded into a ball, the electric eel felt too lazy to go back to the cave. So, it simply lay down on the bottom of the sea, quietly digesting the food.

What shocked Chen Fan was that it was only three hours after the electric eel had digested the food, and the strong hunger had returned.

Shaking his head, Chen Fan had to continue dragging its lazy body to find fish to eat.

..........

At half-past two in the afternoon, Chen Fan found something strange.

Under electromagnetic induction, a layer of cellular tissue beneath the electric eel’s skin began to divide and change gradually into a new cellular tissue.

And, the cells of the original cells were slowly engulfed by a protein catalyzed and released by the new cells.

”What is this?”

Chen Fan was confused. The first two times it devoured the ghost moon incense, this situation did not appear. Was it because it swallowed too much at once, so it produced a variation in the quality?

The new cells gobbled up so quickly that they consumed the nutrients in the skin cells of the electric eel in less than an hour.

And the electric eel’s dark, shiny skin, which had lost its nourishment, grew dimmer, and the same thing occurred with the four claws, too.

”Is the electric eel shedding its skin?” Chen Fan looked at the electric eel’s old cuticle, separated from the new cell layer and wondered in confusion.

The newborn skin layer was still dark but was much more exquisite than the old skin layer. Under the conditions of magnified by 10 times electromagnetic induction, he could actually see there were fine scales, like the electric eel’s four claws.

By five o’clock in the evening, the crystals in the electric eel’s stomach had already digested by half, and the skin felt like it was being tickled by a goose feather.

The four claws of the electric eel rubbed against each other, grinding away the original dead skin, but he could only sigh about the itchiness on the back.

But this situation was quickly overcome by Chen Fan. There was a more than 70-meter long terrorist monster at the coral reef near a cave, unexpectedly rubbing on a big rock to and fro, making the whole area of seawater stir and became muddy.

The dead skin surface, which was worn away by the electric eel in large chunks, revealed a fine, silk-like scale skin.

”Is it possible that a large number of ghost moon incense will also lead to the evolution of the electric eel?” Chen Fan stared at the black scale of the electric eel.

Under the pressure of survival, the genetic makeup of a biological group will change with time and lead to the corresponding phenotypic changes.

But does the electric eel have pressure for survival?

It has good food to eat and was more comfortable than any living thing in the sea. It was lucky enough to have a genetic chain of its body that won’t degenerate. How could it still be evolving?

The only possibility was that ghost moon incense has the power to optimize the genetic chain.

And from the skin of the electric eel, the perfect part of the whole skin was the four claws on it, and there were dark, thin scales there. So when the gene was optimized, the gene chain on the claw was selected first for replication.

The new scales were a little tender, but the defense force on the skin was several times better than before. And when electric eel violently discharged electricity, there would be a bluish-white wavy light projected on the skin, like a 3D holographic projector, which made the scales beautiful.

Half of the crystals were still not digested. Chen Fan didn’t know how many volts the final voltage could reach, but if in accordance with the present growth rate calculation, it should not be a problem for it to increase 35,000 volts. More than doubled.

”Cool!”

.........

The next day.

Waking up from the hunger, when transferring his mind to the electric eel Chen Fan was suddenly startled. Ten meters below the electric eel’s head in the body cavity there was a long, tank-sized globule.

The electric eel rubbed its claws across its belly. It was still sleek and smooth, without any bumps, as if it was destined to be there.

Under the detection of electromagnetic induction, Chen Fan was speechless.

The huge globule, wrapped in a strong white connective tissue, was the same as the poison capsule that had been removed from the body of the ghost hair jellyfish, full of light green venom.

In addition, the white mustard tissue was also covered with neat venom glands, which eventually coalesced into a 50-centimeter-thick hollow white mustard pipe connected to the mouth of the electric eel.

Like a cobra. Chen Fan didn’t have to try it. He knew that the electric eel could easily squirt the light green venom out of the water 20 meters away. It was just from in the ocean. If the electric eel’s head were out of the water, Chen Fan would be able to spray it at least 50 meters.

If the electric eel shed its skin, Chen Fan could find out the reason for it; the extra poison sac, Chen Fan couldn’t find any reason for it.

The electric eel can’t doesn’t have a tendency to evolve like a cobra, right?

That’s bullshit. It’s totally two different species.

Bang...

When the electric eel’s mouth was opened, a light green liquid, half a meter in diameter was squirted out from the poison sac by the strong muscle in the abdomen, penetrated through 20 meters of water, and scattered.

What struck Chen Fan was that this light green poison had an unexpected glow in the dark liquid. In the sea of more than 300 meters deep, it sent out bright clean light like moonlight.

However, its poison, like its color, was completely for decoration.

Within the range of the venom’s spread, only the small fish died among all the fish in the surrounding area. However, the thresher shark that was nearby only floundered like a shrimp when it contacted with the poison that was neutralized by the sea water. Half a minute passed, and it was still alive.

”No value. No value at all.” Chen Fan shook his head, seeming to temporarily have no use for the electric eel.

The electric eel was afraid to eat the poisoned fish. And the venom that had just been sprayed, took half of the storage capacity in the poison sac, not to mention that the quantity was little and the thing was useless.

”It is useless for sure!”

Now the ghost moon incense in the electric eel’s belly had completely dissolved, and the electric eel’s lazy feeling had disappeared. Now he only felt excited, as if he was injected with 100 percent pure stimulant.

Moving the electric eel’s muscle discharge organization, Chen Fan wanted to see if the evolution of the electric eel could achieve an improvement.

Boom...

The electric eel gave out a fantastic flash. A deep and remote blue light with a speed difficult to capture with the naked eye spread around in a circular shape to the scope of a kilometer and just disappeared.

It was almost similar to what Chen Fan had estimated. The electric eel’s full discharge was capable of reaching 35,000 volts.

With a swish, the electric eel, with a 150 knots per hour speed limit, shot to the Shimen Trench that was at a distance. The streamlined body swung quickly, like a dark elf with a shuttle in the ocean.

”Let’s see if the electric eel can reach the depths of more than 4,000 meters.”
