124 Where Am I
”Chen Fan? Chen Fan? Wake up, you’ll watch a cold sleeping outside!” Wu Ruoyu pushed Chen Fan’s arm gently. It was already late autumn and the temperature outside was only over ten degrees celsius. Coupled with lying on the cold ground, it would be a miracle if one did not land up in a hospital sleeping on it.

”Um…” Chen Fan frowned and mumbled subconsciously before switching to a comfortable position and continued with his sweet dreams. Anyone who had been drunk before would know that they hated being disturbed when sleeping.

”This fella!” Wu Ruoyu stood up and stamped her foot. There was no way she could sit back and do nothing whether it be it because of the giant squid’s beak or as a neighbor. She continued shaking Chen Fan’s arm, but he remained as though he was dead — only breathing, not moving.

”Forget it.” Wu Ruoyu shook her head and pulled the key from Chen Fan’s hand. She lifted Chen Fan’s head with her left hand and moved his body to the side before standing up to open the white metal gate.

Creak! After pushing the white metal gate, Wu Ruoyu squatted down and placed Chen Fan’s arms around her neck, wanting to use the strength of her waist to lift him up. It wouldn’t be a problem for a strong man to lift two women up with both hands, but it would be more difficult for a small woman to lift a large man up.

Wu Ruoyu groaned as she used all her strength and finally lifted Chen Fan up. With one hand on his waist, Wu Ruoyu dragged him and took small steps toward the courtyard.

”Burp!” Although Chen Fan was subconsciously aware that someone was holding onto him, his aching head made him unable to control his footsteps, and he had to passively rely on the strength of others.

As she held onto Chen Fan and walked to the stairs in the living room, Wu Ruoyu pulled back her golden hair on her forehead, which was drenched in sweat. She took a deep breath before approaching the stairs as if she were climbing the Himalayas.

Even if their positions were to switch, the twenty-two steps could also make an able-bodied, strong man short of breath, let alone a small woman supporting an able-bodied man.

Seven...eight....nine… Wu Ruoyu counted silently with every step. Huff! At the eleventh step where she had to make a turn, Wu Ruoyu felt that her legs were as heavy as lead, and delicate beads of sweat had appeared all over on her skin. After resting for a while, Wu Ruoyu gritted her teeth and continued to drag Chen Fan up the stairs.

Twenty, twenty-one, twenty-two… When she held Chen Fan over the last step, Wu Ruoyu’s legs jellied, and she crumpled to the floor. The pain from her calves to her waist made her frown. There was another ten meters left, and Wu Ruoyu’s footsteps were no better than an elderly with one foot in the grave. She looked as if she might collapse any moment.

After moving to the side of the bed with much difficulty, Wu Ruoyu heaved a sigh of relief as if she just completed a 25,000-mile long march. Then, she put Chen Fan onto the bed with her arms.

Thump! Due to the action of the spring, the two-meter wide Simmons luxury mattress covered with a white silk duvet was pressed down and then shot back cheekily.

”Ah!” A clearly repressed voice came from Wu Ruoyu’s delicate throat. Under the colorful lighting, Wu Ruoyu was weighed down by Chen Fan on the soft Simmons mattress.

Needless to say, Chen Fan did not do this on purpose. In fact, he didn’t even know where he was right now. His burning head made him lose the ability to receive any communication from the outside world. Wu Ruoyu could only blame it on her own carelessness that such a situation happened. When she let go of Chen Fan, he fell onto the bed, and she was brought down by the impact of the falling force. Chen Fan fell onto her before she could pull her hands back.

Burp! Chen Fan burped a breath of strong alcohol right at Wu Ruoyu’s round and smooth earlobe. Wu Ruoyu felt her heart almost pop out, and a flush spread quickly from under her eyes to her neck.

”Chen Fan, get up. Chen Fan, can you please get up? Chen Fan…” There was a trace of pleading in Wu Ruoyu’s sweet voice. Wu Ruoyu felt that she had suffered extreme injustice. Who would have that thought she would end up like this for being helpful? She had already depleted all her strength just now. She tried to push Chen Fan away with all her might but Chen Fan just didn’t move at all.

”Hmm…” Chen Fan mumbled unconsciously before moving and pressing his whole body on Wu Ruoyu. After that, he put his left hand around her waist and his right leg over her legs and then slipped into a deep sleep in less than ten seconds.

A professional survey organization had once surveyed 50,000 users online and arrived at such a conclusion: ninety percent of people would grab the quilt beside them or clamp it between their legs when they were sleeping because this was the most comfortable position!

Gradually, Wu Ruoyu felt her cheeks become hot, and a feeling of numbness spread quickly from her ears downward to her heels. At that moment, all her strength seemed to have been drained.

Rapid heartbeat, flushed face, dryness in the mouth, feeling weak all over — there were all sorts of symptoms, and it was impossible to describe to others how she really felt. If Wu Ruyu could still squeeze out a little strength to struggle just now, she was now like a little lamb that had its central nervous system cut off and could only murmur. In literary language, this situation could be described as ”having vivid facial expressions that convey messages, whose beauty can overthrow a city!”

Needless to say, Wu Ruoyu wasn’t feeling such a state of beauty at that moment. She was soft and weak all over, feeling ashamed and lost.

The relationship between men and women was a major topic, and many subtopics could be derived from it. Be it spiritual communication or touching of any body parts, they would all result in a series of complex propositions. Even the most knowledgeable master of biology would not be able to sort out this messy relationship.

”Uh…” As time went by, Wu Ruoyu slowly closed her beautiful eyes, fluttered her eyelashes and curled up her toes. Then, she got a fright by her own delicate voice. Redness seemed to permeate through her skin, like a layer of milk with varied shyness and modesty.

...

The morning sun hung lazily in the sky. The birds pecked at the clear water in the forest, and this scene rendered the entire tranquil and beautiful lake into a scroll of ink painting.

”Where am I?” Chen Fan rubbed his heavy eyes, lifting his head and looked at his surroundings before he was certain that he was in his bedroom. He was tucked in under a velvet quilt, and the comfort of his bed told him that his shoes had already been taken off by someone. Just when he wanted to find his phone to check the time, Chen Fan saw that there was a cup of brewed tea lying on the side cabinet.

”Who helped me?” Chen Fan’s head was in chaos. His last memory of his surroundings was of him sleeping on the floor at the doorstep.

”Could it be Zhao Shujie?” Chen Fan mumbled, and then felt that it wasn’t right. She seemed to have left in the cab after sending him to the door. Since he couldn’t figure it out, he decided not to think of this question anymore. Chen Fan held the tea cup and drunk it all up before getting out of bed and walking to the bathroom. He splashed some cold water on his face.

After washing up, Chen Fan took a sniff of himself and a strong alcoholic smell pierced through his head. ”Eh?” Chen Fan took another sniff, and there seemed to be a touch of a milk-like fragrance.

After he took off his clothes and took a bath, Chen Fab changed into clean clothes and walked to the garage as he twirled the car key chain on his index finger. When he reached the garage, a slim figure outside the white fence attracted Chen Fan’s eyesight.

”Hello! Good morning!” Chen Fan greeted Wu Ruoyu with a Pidgin English accent. as he walked past her. Wu Ruoyu’s face flushed quickly before she gave a snort and rolled her eyes, and then quickly disappeared from Chen Fan’s sight.

”Don’t tell me this girl is feeling horny?” Pursing his lips, Chen Fan slipped into the car and drove toward the shipyard by the sea.
