Super Electric Eel Avatar

120 The Hideout in the Deep Sea
”Your father and I had wanted her to be our goddaughter. The young lady has no relatives in this world, and she is really pitiful!”

Chen Fan’s mother sighed. ”You can look at the situation after we get back. You can slowly cultivate feelings if you feel that she’s suitable. Otherwise, you can just treat her as a sister.”

”Um, I got it!” Chen Fan nodded and hung up the phone. He wouldn’t object to his parents bringing a pretty young lady back. In fact, it wouldn’t be of any use even if he had objected, as his parents would still bring the girl back. He only had the choice of not marrying her, but not the right to refuse her in the house.

Needless to say, Chen Fan also had the same thinking as his parents. It wouldn’t be such a bad idea if he developed feelings for her, otherwise he would just have a god sister! Anyway, the girl was only seventeen, and had a few years of ”probation”. Not only was he not affected in terms of chasing girls but he also had another potential one in the making.

”Stop it, you’re evil!” Shaking off his unhealthy thoughts, Chen Fan shifted his thoughts over.

As of now, the electric eel had caught a total of four jellyfishes, but the three big and one small poison sacs had not yet been sun-dried and were still watery.

Diving to a depth of 2,500 meters at one go, the electric eel continued with its hunting journey.

Bang…

Bang…

The electric eel released a beam of high-pressure discharge every minute. It was quite lucky this time. After searching for six minutes, the eel sensed that there was a huge group of plankton near the cliff 300 meters below. The electric eel’s limit was now 3,000 meters. It could only stay there for around fifteen minutes, whereas it could stay for half an hour at 2,800 meters.

After some thinking, Chen Fan decided to let the electric eel go down and try its luck. There were really too few groups of plankton in the deep sea. Instead of abandoning it to find another one, it would be better to stay behind this group.

Chen Fan exclaimed how lucky he was because only after two minutes, a ghost hair jellyfish entered the eel’s induction range. Moreover, the diameter of the jellyfish’s body was fifteen meters long which was two meters longer that the previous one.

At that moment, Chen Fan had mixed feelings of hope and fear. Chen Fan had a very deep impression of how nasty the previous jellyfish was. Therefore, to kill this one without getting the eel get injured was probably harder than getting ten heads from throwing a coin ten times.

Nevertheless, Chen Fan still wanted to give it a fight no matter how slim his chances were. At the most he would just get the eel to escape if the situation went wrong.

After swallowing his saliva and slowly moving the eel’s tail, he swam 200 meters away from the jellyfish. Chen Fan decided to let the eel use an accelerating distance of 100 meters to produce a strong inertia to rip through the jellyfish with the pike. The electric eel’s maximum speed at this depth was around thirty nautical miles, which meant that it could move thirty meters per second.

The electric eel only took three seconds to cover the 100-meter distance. Whoosh! A sharp pike flew like an arrow toward the ghost hair jellyfish. Like the previous time, the ghost hair jellyfish moved its tentacles toward the pike when it sensed it shooting toward it.

The ghost hair jellyfish was ripped through like a candied haw on a stick by the pike. The thing that frustrated Chen Fan was, although the jellyfish had been ripped through like a candied haw and also tortured by a 10,000-volt discharge, it was still displaying its cockroach like vitality, diving toward the bottom of the sea with the pike.

”My god, can you show me something new? You can go to the left, to the right or to the top. Why do you have to escape to the bottom every time?” At this point, Chen Fan could only brace himself and fight to the end with the jellyfish. ”If you can survive till 3,300 meters, I’ll just forsake the pike at the most!” Maintaining a distance of 100 meters from the jellyfish, Chen Fan kept praying for it to die quickly.

After chasing for 2,900 meters, which was 100 meters more than the previous time, the jellyfish suddenly moved vigorously and then stopped diving downward, forming an arc toward its left.

”I like you this way!” Chen Fan rejoiced secretly. His chances increased if he was able to buy time.

The speed of the ghost hair jellyfish gradually became slower. When it was finally close to the deep sea cliff, it could only move its tentacles weakly and then let them hang freely.

3,000 meters…

3,100 meters… Just when Chen Fan almost gave up hope, the ghost hair jellyfish landed on a huge protruding rock. Chen Fan suddenly stopped at a depth of 3,000 meters and stared with his eyes wide open. It wasn’t because the electric eel was crushing under the water pressure. Actually, in fact, the eel could still hold on for another ten minutes and wait for the jellyfish to die before striking.

Chen Fan saw that on the left of the huge rock where the jellyfish was at, was a dark round hole with a diameter of at least thirty meters. However, the huge hole was not the thing that shocked Chen Fan the most. This kind of hole was rare underwater, but could still be found with some effort. The thing that really shocked Chen Fan was that a few seconds after the jellyfish landed, four small ghost hair jellyfish with a diameter not more than two meters slipped out from the hole and surrounded the ripped jellyfish, going around it non-stop.

Judging from the way the electric eel extended itself inside the hole for 300 meters, the wall thickness of the hole was around 100 meters, and it was a humongous space inside. Due to the distance, the electric eel could not detect exactly how big it was inside. However, sensing from the tentacle of a ghost hair jellyfish that flashed past, it could be deduced that the size of the hole was definitely beyond imagination.

The ghost hair jellyfish hideout? Chen Fan was totally shocked! It was difficult to describe how Chen Fan felt at that moment. It was like a beggar who had suffered and begged for over twenty years discovering a mountain of gold out of the blue.

How did it feel like to work hard every day and beg for a few dollars? What about the feeling of suddenly discovering a huge mountain of gold?

The few small ghost hair jellyfishes only came out for a breather, but got forced back into the hole by the strong surrounding discharge, leaving the huge creature behind. Suppressing his intense ecstasy, Chen Fan planned to control the electric eel to grab a few big rocks and throw them at the jellyfish, not caring whether it was dead or not.

After swimming upward, the electric eel searched for three to four minutes before grabbing a huge two-meter rock from the cliff with much effort. Holding the rock tightly with its two front claws, the electric eel started to increase speed at 2,700 meters.

Swoosh! The electric eel dashed downward like lightning at a speed of over thirty meters per second. ”Ah…” At 3,000 meters, the eel suddenly raised its head and awkwardly changed the flow of its body. Brought about by the inertia, the eel did a big U-shape after slipping downward for 100 meters, not daring to let go of the rock, and dashed up again at a speed of 30 meters per second.

The second before the electric eel came to a stop, numerous white tentacles which were as thick as arms shot over from below. Two minutes later, the eel threw away the rock and laid beside the trench at 800 meters deep, breathing heavily.

Chen Fan was extremely frustrated. Who would have expected that during such a short time of finding the rock, two huge terrifying creatures with twenty-meter long umbrella-shaped bodies would appear beside the ripped ghost hair jellyfish.

If the electric eel’s reaction had been a second slower, this Tonga Trench trip would likely have be the last for Chen Fan and the electric eel avatar!

Two twenty-meter ghost hair jellyfish… Chen Fan trembled at the thought of it. How many ghost hair jellyfish were hiding inside the hole? Nonetheless, the endless danger inside the hole also implied endless opportunities! What did getting all the jellyfish inside the hole imply? It implied that the strength of the electric eel would experience geometric growth.

”Oh heaven…” Chen Fan cried. ”You threw me a huge bait, and then placed it in magma…”
