Super Electric Eel Avatar

138 The Hulk’s Transformation Solution
The sea area which Chen Fan chose to ”receive goods” was over 300 meters deep, and there were few vessels in the surrounding area, thus making it an ideal place for transacting. It was around 8 p.m. local time. The electric eel which was waiting at a water level of 100 meters heard the roaring sound from a propeller. Shortly after, there was a huge vessel gradually sailing toward the intended location.

It was a blue 5,000-ton container ship. Its empty deck had only a 15-meter-long, five-meter-wide and two-meter-tall black aerodynamically-shaped ironclad. At the tail of the ironclad was an enclosed hatch with a rubber gasket added to it.

There were two methods pirates used to collect ransom money: one was making the cash cow send a helicopter to deliver it somewhere, and the other one was making the cash cow load it onto a speedboat and then discard it at a designated place. This time, they finally got a taste of their own medicine.

After the blue container ship arrived, the heavy boom on the deck slowly started moving, raising the ironclad and lowering it to the water’s surface before releasing the hook. Thump! The huge waves caused by the ironclad threw the six black men on the deck onto the floor, almost washing them into the sea.

One minute later, Chen Fan received a call from the interpreter officer again. ”We’ve already dropped the USD at the designated place. You can send people to receive the goods.” The interpreter sounded like someone in his family died, as if the 500 million USD was from his pocket.

”My men have already informed me. You can tell the blue container ship to get lost now.” Chen Fan was sitting on the couch and sounded a little annoyed. Chen Fan really didn’t like his attitude. It’s your problem if you feel pain in your heart over the money. Why do you have to vent it out on me?

Doo...doo...doo… The interpreter officer hung up the phone.

”Whoa...how arrogant!” Chen Fan looked at his mobile phone and pursed his lips.

Two minutes later, the blue container ship slowly left the sea area. Within five minutes, it couldn’t be seen anymore.

Fifteen meters was a piece of cake to the electric eel. With a few moves, it swam to the bottom of the ironclad which was almost submerged in water. After grabbing the center portion with its two back claws, the eel dived straight into the sea.

Chen Fan wasn’t afraid of anyone keeping watch nearby or using observation means such as taking photos. In the middle of the night, one could only observe up to a distance of around 600 meters even with night vision equipment. As for thermal imaging equipment, it would be useless as long as there was a water barrier, because the heat from the eel’s body could not transmit to the water’s surface at all.

After getting the money, Chen Fan gave a sinister smile before pressing the redial key on his mobile phone.

”Hello?” The interpreter officer still sounded like a jerk.

”I’ve already gotten the stuff, but I’m not in the best of moods now....so I’d like you to do something to cheer me up!” The interpreter suddenly had a bad feeling. Just when he was about to speak, Chen Fan cut him off. ”Give yourself two tight slaps!” Chen Fan sat casually on the couch with his legs crossed. ”I’ll give you five seconds to consider!”

”What?” The interpreter was dumbstruck. What is this? Slap myself?

”Uh-huh.” Chen Fan’s lips curled upwards. ”One, two, three, four…”

Pah! Pah! After counting to four, two slapping sounds came from the phone. Who knew if they were real.

Doo...doo...doo… It was Chen Fan who hung up the phone this time. At the same time, the electric eel which was hiding at the Gulf of Aden suddenly opened its eyes. Bringing along the pike and the ironclad, it quickly swam toward the direction of Zhongyun.

At 11:30 a.m., Chen Fan drove to the school to pick Yun Meng before bringing her to the nearby supermarket for shopping. At the supermarket, Chen Fan suddenly stopped and then walked two steps back with a weird expression on his face. Then, he kept staring at a poster on the telephone pole.

”Brother Chen Fan, what’s wrong?” Yun Meng followed Chen Fan’s gaze curiously before giving out an ”ah” and covering her mouth.

”Missing.”

”I’m a resident at Second Floor of Block C, Bolan District. I lost a pet yesterday; its scientific name is North American Lynx. It has gray fur with dense black spots all over and long white fur at the chin. Anyone who provides useful information will be rewarded 1,000 RMB. The person who helps to find the pet will be rewarded 5,000 RMB. Attached: my contact number and photo of the pet.”

The animal on the clear colored photo was exactly the same as the creature Chen Fan killed the night before.

”This...this…” Chen Fan touched his chin awkwardly and then pulled Yun Meng’s hand. ”Stop looking. Let’s get out of here quick! We’ll be dead if the owner discovers us.”

Swoosh! Two patches of red began to spread to the cheeks from under the ears before extending toward the neck. After trying to struggle free unsuccessfully, Yun Meng could only follow Chen Fan’s footsteps passively.

Lunch was a little perplexing. Yun Meng secretly glanced at Chen Fan from time to time, but when he looked at her, she quickly looked away and bit her chopsticks, feeling all confused.

Of course, the relationship between men and women was an extremely complicated geometric equation. Not only would it branch out to many vexing wrong calculations, there were also no solutions in the end.

At 6 p.m. Zhongyun time, the electric eel arrived at the sea south of Oman territory. It planned to rest for a while before continuing toward the Arabian Sea and then go all the way to Sri Lanka’s territorial waters the next day.

Just as Chen Fan was feeling bored and controlling the electric eel to chase an 11-meter long baleen whale, his parents’ voices came from downstairs.

”Isn’t it better to go to Jiuzhaigou? The scenery there is definitely superb. Why do you have to go to the Wudang Mountains?” Chen Fan’s mother looked at her husband as she walked up the stairs. ”You don’t have an ex-lover in the Wudang Mountains. What do you wanna go there for?”

”As you wish. I’m not gonna argue with you alright?” Chen Fan’s father took of his jacket and placed it over his shoulders. After seeing Chen Fan sitting on the couch upstairs and looking into the bedroom he asked, ”Son, where’s Meng Er? Why don’t I see he upstairs or downstairs?”

”She went to school.” Chen Fan stood up to stretch himself. ”I took her for registration yesterday!”

”This child is a little autistic. It’s good to let her go to school so that she can interact with new classmates.” Chen Fan’s mother let out a sigh and walked to the front of the coffee table. ”Son, your dad and I will be setting off tomorrow. You have to take good care of Meng Er and don’t bully her!”

”Do I look like I will?” Chen Fan pointed at his own nose, looking as if he had been greatly wronged. ”I didn’t even let her cook, and I still ordered takeout at noon.”

Chen Fan’s mother gave him a contemptuous look. ”I don’t know what you did, but your cousins all run away whenever they see you.”

”That’s because they were mischievous. I gotta teach them a lesson before they get out of hand.” Chen Fan placed the remote control on the coffee table in her hand. ”I’m going in to play on the computer.”

The next morning, Chen Fan’s parents gave him a few winks with deep hidden meaning before getting onto the tour bus with two bags of luggage.

--------

Six days later, the electric eel, which had crossed the territory of two continents, finally returned to Zhongyun City after half a month. Chen Fan did not rush to deliver the money to the shipyard, but controlled the eel to the 20-meter long and 100-meter deep hole which it had dug among the reefs. After throwing the pike into the hole, the eel then carried the ironclad and swam toward the shipyard.

As there was a speedboat inside the shipyard; Chen Fan had to drive it to the side so that it leaned close to the cement stairs. After waiting until 10 p.m., he opened the main gate of the shipyard and let the electric eel secretly bring the ironclad inside.

At its current length of over 70 meters, the electric eel had to expose half of its body to enter the shipyard. As the shipyard was only a little over 50 meters long, its tail had to stay outside.

Thump! The electric eel, with half of its black back exposed, forcefully raised the black aerodynamic head and threw the ironclad onto the steps with its two-meter long shiny claws.

If a novelist had witnessed this scene, he would definitely exclaim the birth of a ”sea dragon” before using a whole load of flowery words to describe this huge creature which could only be found in fairytales.

”This is even more eye-catching than a sea dragon!” Chen Fan exclaimed while squatting on the steps. ”Not only can this big fella of mine release electricity, but it can also use electromagnetic induction to strengthen its pituitary gland. Can a sea dragon do that?” After fantasizing for a while, Chen Fan walked to the front of the ironclad thrown up the shore. With his two hands on the rotating disk, he turned it toward the left forcefully.

Creak, creak, creak.

After the rotating disk hit the bottom, the hatched suddenly opened by a huge force, and countless brightly-colored hundred dollar bills printed with the head portrait of Franklin gushed out like a burst in a dam, covering Chen Fan’s calves.

How much is 500 million USD? Chen Fan remembered he had previously seen on the internet a photo of 200 million USD hidden by a Mexican drug trafficker. Like everyone else, he was stunned by the heaps of banknotes at that time. However, what he was seeing with his own eyes now and belonged to him was two and a half times that in the photo.

Five hundred million USD! This wasn’t a simple Arabic numeral, but the world’s strongest currency which could fill up an entire bedroom. Looking at a large portion of the bills inside the hatch which had not flowed out, Chen Fan felt his heart almost popping out.

No wonder there had been reports of people winning 500 million and then dying of heart attack. This was because the visual impact was simply too huge! After half an hour, Chen Fan finally struggled out of his mania. Although the US dollars were a huge sum, he couldn’t use them yet as they had to be ”laundered” clean first.

Therefore, Chen Fan decided to feed the electric eel with the eight pieces of crystals which had already turned into ghost moon incense. He wanted to see if the eel would be like the hulk after drinking the transformation solution, increasing its strength, endurance, and explosiveness by more than a level!
