Technological Empire Starts From Shanzhai System

Chapter 147: Wireless LAN
Chapter 147 Wireless LAN

This situation did not come until the era of smart phones in 2009. The US Empire realized that WiFi could not be delayed any longer, because the lack of WiFi has affected the use and sales of mobile phones.

Finally, in 2009, the US Empire pinched its nose and recognized the WIPI standard, and the patent holder of the WIPI standard has been through years of hard work by FDJT.

Also realized that if you want to cut leeks, you have to grow them first, and they finally agreed to reduce the patent fee, so that cheap WiFi can really enter the homes of the people across the country.

So the reason why things are so serious, and the reason why people in Daxia can’t use WiFi until the era of smart phones, is actually all Dongdian Jietong’s fault!

The root cause is Dongdian Jietong, they are too arrogant!

Before 2006, they saw that the relevant institutions in Australia could charge patent fees and receive soft hands.

After their wireless LAN standard became Daxia’s wireless LAN standard, they also naturally thought that they could collect patent fees like an Australian institution and get soft!

But it turns out they were wrong, they were too arrogant and overthinking!

Whether it is a domestic or foreign enterprise in the field of chips and communications, there is no enterprise like Dongdian Jietong!

Among them, even the Guowei mobile phone that can compete with the Apple mobile phone, in the current era, Guowei Technology, which is already in the field of communication, is not a bird of Dongdian Jietong!

Because Dongdian Jietong’s people are too greedy and want too much, Guowei Technology has never developed a WIPI chip since the establishment of the wireless local area network standard!

The reason for everything is that Dongdian Jietong takes it for granted that they hold the standard, and they are the final winners.

Thinking that any business that wants to use WLAN can’t bypass them leads to their arrogance!

Once this person is arrogant, he will naturally eat a lot of meat when he opens his mouth.

So no matter whether it is many domestic or foreign enterprises, none of them can accept the conditions they put forward.

But it is a pity that if the arrogance is only a year or so, forget it, but they have been arrogance for a few years!

If not in 2006, a communication company developed a WIPI-standard communication chip.

Barely decorating the WIPI standard, then this incident will become a black history in the field of wireless communication!

Recalling that he had seen history, Lin Xuan at this time was naturally completely annoyed by Dongdian Jietong’s arrogance.

I have a sycamore tree, so I’m not afraid that there will be no phoenix. You want to eat phoenix meat even before the sycamore tree is set up. Are you sure you want to fart? !

At this time, Lin Xuan deeply understood why people could not enjoy the convenience of WiFi in previous lives? It turns out that all the reasons are caused by these guys from Todian Jietong!

These guys are simply too arrogant, even more arrogant than state-owned enterprises, although they are state-owned enterprises to some extent!

Dongdian Jietong is actually a school-run enterprise. He founded an enterprise after the successful research and development of WIPI standards provided by Changdian University with professors and funds.

So the foundation of this enterprise is born with the characteristics of academicism, and there is no sense of crisis at all!

In this case, sometimes I really have to feel that it is a good thing that there is a Boss Liu, otherwise the American conscience may not be able to reach the current level.

”These guys are **** me off!”

Lin Xuan said that he hated iron for being weak.

He wants to contribute to Daxia, and wants the people of Daxia in this era to use WiFi and enjoy the benefits of wireless LAN.

But heaven failed to fulfill people’s wishes. Dongdian Jietong is simply a pig teammate. He has already stood on the air vent, but in the end he becomes a rock that cannot fly, and he wants to block the air vent!

So, at this time, Lin Xuan was really **** off by them!

”I’ll go talk to them again!”

Anxious Lin Xuan took his secretary in the car and headed to the airport, preparing to fly directly to Chang’an City!

…

The next day, that is, November 18, 2004.

Lin Xuan arrived at a certain big summer in Chang’an Industrial Park on time.

At this time, Dongdian Jietong’s headquarters is located here, of course, it is more accurately half a floor of a certain floor!

It’s okay if you don’t have money, but you don’t invest in launching WIPI standard chips first, and don’t let your own standard become a truly popular standard in the market.

Thinking of just relying on a piece of standard documents and wanting to lie down and collect patent fees, this is simply wanting to eat farts!

Seeing the actual desolation of Dongdian Jietong Company at this time, Lin Xuan curled his lips.

He felt a little speechless, how did these guys grow their brains?

If you want to eat leeks, you must at least get the land ready and plant the leek seeds, right?

I want to cut the leeks without growing them in the vegetable garden. No wonder the WIPI standard has always been a joke.

With an angry sneer on the corner of his mouth, Lin Xuan looked at a middle-aged man wearing glasses in front of him, with a sarcastic and disdainful arc on the corner of his mouth.

Under such circumstances, the middle-aged man wearing glasses walked towards Lin Xuan slowly and said:

”Mr. Lin, welcome to Dongdian Jietong. My name is Lin Zhiyu, and I am the general manager of Dongdian Jietong.”

”Ok.”

Lin Xuan, who was not in a good mood, hummed in a neutral manner, and shook hands with the other party, which was regarded as a response to the other party’s etiquette.

”Mr. Lin, we have booked a private room for you, let’s go eat now.”

Lin Zhiyu didn’t seem to be angry because of Lin Xuan’s insipidity, but invited Lin Xuan with a smile on his face.

At this time, seeing Lin Xuan was like seeing the God of Wealth, showing a mysterious smile when he saw the God of Wealth!

For Dongdian Jietong, what is it if Lin Xuan is not the God of Wealth? !

Before, under some pressure, Dongdian Jietong had no choice but to authorize the use and production of WIPI wireless LAN standard to 24 enterprises across the country.

Allow those companies to use the WIPI standard to develop their own wireless communication chips, but the result is that it has been nearly a year since the WIPI standard was officially established in November 2003.

In the past year, no company has developed a WIPI standard wireless communication chip!

It can be understood that no company has developed a wireless communication chip in one or two months. After all, it takes development time, and it can be understood even if it is a little longer than half a year.

But since the WIPI standard was announced as a mandatory standard, no company has developed a wireless communication chip in nearly a year. This naturally made the high-level executives of Dongdian Jietong dumbfounded. This seems a bit wrong.

At the beginning, the high ambitions were raised, but the results were full of feathers, and the harsh conditions proposed by the arrogance at the beginning, as a result, those chip companies have deviated from Dongdian Jietong!

It has been several months since the last chip company left DEPCO in a huff, and no company came to DEPCO during these months!

At this time, after a few months, I finally got a big dog!

One of the top three players in the mobile phone industry who definitely cannot refuse the WIPI standard!

Seeing the big dog at this time, Lin Zhiyu naturally showed a happy smile, because he can finally kill dogs and eat meat!

He also knows that Hantang Technology is going to enter the field of high-end mobile phones, so with Hantang Technology, he wants to find Dongdian Jietong.

Lin Zhiyu knew that Lin Xuan wanted to use the WiFi function as a selling point of his mobile phone.

After noticing this, Lin Zhiyu suddenly started screaming, as if he had got Lin Xuan’s handle, he rejected the business representative of Hantang Technology on the spot!

Even if Hantang Technology offered a license fee of 10 million, he still refused without hesitation!

Because he knows that Hantang Technology is a big dog, a big dog that can kill a knife!

As long as Lin Xuan wants to use the wireless LAN function on his mobile phone, Lin Xuan must bow his head, so he rejected the representative of Hantang Technology at that time, waiting for Lin Xuan to come to the door!

The result after that is self-evident, Lin Xuan really attaches great importance to the matter of wireless LAN.

Actually flew to Chang’an to find him on the second day!

Thinking of this, Lin Zhiyu’s mouth curled into a smug smile.

After a year of hard work, I still want to have a good meal to make up for the shortfall of the past year!

As for how to make it up, it is natural to make it up from the technology of Han and Tang Dynasties!

”No need, let’s talk about business first.”

Lin Xuan shook his head, but did not go on with the other party.

He came here to solve the WIPI standard issue, not to have dinner with the other party.

Besides, Dongdian Jietong gave him a ”big gift” before. How can he eat without being full?

”Well, yes.”

Lin Zhiyu nodded with a smile. Now TEPCO Jietongjie doesn’t have much money, because there are no domestic and foreign chip companies to care for them, and they don’t produce WIPI-standard chips at all.

Dongdian Jietong naturally lived a miserable life without receiving patent fees. It would be better if Lin Xuan didn’t eat now, and this would save thousands of dollars in expenses.

Just like that, several people came all the way to Dongdian Jietong’s large reception room, and then Lin Xuan sat down with them one after another, and then started formal business negotiations.

”I have admired Mr. Lin for a long time. At this time, Mr. Lin came to Dongdian Jietong, which really made me extremely happy.”

”hehe.”

Laughing with sarcasm in his eyes, Lin Xuan saw that the other party did not continue to talk nonsense, and he directly pointed to the theme of this time:

”Although your company’s WIPI wireless LAN technology standard has become Daxia’s wireless LAN standard.

But since last year, no chip company has supported your company’s WIPI standard, and has not launched any chip. I am afraid that your company will not receive any patent fees until now. ”

Regarding this, Lin Zhiyu slightly shook his head with a sarcastic smile.

Lin Zhiyu had already guessed that Lin Xuan would use this to lower his bargaining chip, so he shook his head with a smile and said:

”Hehe, Hantang Technology does not need to consider this, because our WIPI standard has become the standard of Daxia.

I believe that in the future other companies will realize the fact that if they want to develop, they must use the WIPI standard! ”

Speaking of this, Lin Zhiyu is very confident. It seems that he thinks that Dongdian Jietong has encountered a little setback, which is just a small setback.

It’s no wonder that the future WLAN won’t be implemented until 2009. I’m afraid the management of Dongdian Jietong has been dazzled by the words “building standard”.

Forgot that the Daxia standard is the Daxia standard, and the general industry standard is the general industry standard!
