Chapter 111: Boshima and the United States
Chapter 111 Poshima and the United States

At this time, Xu Hua was in a conference room, yelling at the high-level executives of the Joint Vacuum Division:

”Is our wave island mobile phone’s annual order of 30 million pieces still not enough for you?

Why do you sell a large number of MTK chip platforms to other mobile phone companies, and the most important thing is why the price is the same! ”

At this time, Xu Hua’s face was ashen, with infinite anger on his face.

The mantis catches the cicada and the oriole is behind!

Xu Hua thought he had won the final victory, but at this moment he realized that he had turned into a sharp knife being used by others!

It is estimated that no one would have thought that the winner of the oriole in the end would be Lianfake, which no one would have thought of!

Lianfake would become the last oriole, which was unexpected by no one, especially Xu Hua, and even Xu Hua believed that Lin Xuan could not have imagined that Lianfake would become the final winner!

Originally thought that an order of 30 million chips would satisfy the appetite of Lianfa, but it turned out that he was thinking too much.

Lianfei Kobe is more ambitious and greedy than Xu Hua imagined. He even took advantage of the battle between Bodao Mobile and Hantang Mobile to win over several major domestic brands and those ”unknown” small factories.

It can be said that their strategy is very successful. After the second generation of workers in Boshima, the MTK chip platform became famous through the battle of Boshima mobile phones.

So the two sides hit it off almost immediately, and all domestic mobile phone manufacturers have come together with Lianweike, and are preparing to quickly launch their own low-cost mobile phones for migrant workers based on Lianweike’s MTK chip platform!

As someone who has been there, Xu Hua knows how amazing the MTK chip platform is. It only took four or five days to launch a new mobile phone after dialing Xiaojin.

This includes applying for licenses and other things. It can be said that after the whole process, a new mobile phone can be launched in less than a week.

So Xu Hua was scared at this time. If the mobile phone manufacturers lowered the price of mobile phones for migrant workers to 279 yuan before, it was not advisable and could not exist for a long time.

But when they all adopt the lower-cost MTK chip platform, their price reduction behavior will become long-term!

Chips, the more people buy them, the cheaper they will be. In other words, the larger the output, the cheaper they will be.

Once all mobile phone manufacturers in Daxia adopt the MTK chip platform, plus the birth of mobile phones for migrant workers.

Relevant persons from the information agency estimated that there will be 260 million mobile phone production this year, which is 60 million more than the estimated 170 million in the first quarter of 2004.

According to the optimistic estimates of relevant institutions, the number of mobile phones sold in China this year may exceed 95 million, an increase of 26 million compared to the estimated 69 million at the end of the first quarter...

Thinking of this year’s mobile phone sales, Xu Hua’s eyes were filled with coldness.

Not to mention 260 million mobile phones, even if 100 million mobile phones use Lianfa’s chips, the price of Lianfa’s chips can be reduced to an astonishing price level.

When the price of the lowest-end chip in SIFFIC may be reduced to 30 yuan or 25 yuan lower!

The mantis catches the cicada, and the oriole follows.

In this battle of low-cost mobile phones for migrant workers, UNIFAC has become the final winner!

Calculated in this way, as long as you persist for a month or two, the price will drop sharply after the chip production of Lianfuke increases greatly.

Then even if the price of the mobile phone drops to 279 yuan, it is still a profitable thing.

Anticipating such a dire outcome, Xu Hua was deeply worried and angry.

Now, the biggest advantage of Bodao mobile phone is that through the output of 30 million units, it can turn itself from unprofitable to profitable, and this profit is still several times more than before!

But now something worrying has happened. Lianfa has reached cooperation with domestic mobile phone manufacturers.

Lianfuke’s chips will definitely gain sales of hundreds of millions of pieces, which means that Lianweike’s chips will eventually be greatly reduced due to mass production.

Although the purchase price of Boshima mobile phones was also greatly reduced at that time, the thing that really made Xu Hua angry was that Lianfuke treated them equally.

As the first company in the world to purchase the MTK chip platform of Lianfa, in order to strongly support Lianfa and Jiaohao Lianfa, Bodao Mobile purchased 30 million chips in one go.

It can be regarded as taking out the heart and soul to join Lianfuke. If you want to reach a brotherhood with Lianweike even if you can’t reach a share transaction, form an alliance.

But Lianfuke obviously has no heart and lungs. Now they actually set the price of the chip at the same level as the wave island mobile phone. This is actually the same headache and anger for the wave island mobile phone.

As the first to eat crabs, the price of chips must be relatively expensive. Now with the production of 320 million chip orders, the price of chips will definitely drop.

So latecomers have an advantage in purchasing chips, because others have already laid the road for you.

Now, Lianfa suddenly does not pay attention to business rules and morals. The price of chips purchased by other mobile phone manufacturers is actually exactly the same as that of Bodao mobile phones.

In this case, the wave island mobile phone has no cost advantage in the chip. Faced with this situation, what should the wave island mobile phone do?

Will Poshima Mobile continue to lower the price of 249? 249 is already a state of small profits but quick turnover. How much can it be reduced if it continues to drop?

Now with the participation of major mobile phone manufacturers, they have lowered the price to 279 yuan.

There is only a difference of 20 or 30 yuan, which is not as obvious as the previous 50 yuan difference. Will Boshima mobile phones still sell so well?

It’s not easy to sell!

There was Lin Xuan as a strong enemy first, and then other mobile phone manufacturers came forward. Xu Hua was confused about whether Bodao mobile phones could sell 30 million units next.

Before when Boshima mobile phones sold 82,000 units a day, Xu Hua could be as proud as he wanted, and as arrogant as he wanted.

I didn’t expect this slap in the face to come so quickly. The previous arrogance has now turned into a hesitation that is about to face a bankruptcy crisis. At this time, Xu Hua is confused and hesitant.

So in such a mood, he was yelling at the high-level executives of the Lianfa Branch.

For Xu Hua’s roar, for Xu Hua’s words ”Can’t our 30 million-level chip purchases satisfy you!”

At this time, Cai Jie, the president of Lianfa Branch, had a smile of unknown meaning on the corner of his mouth.

After a long time, it seemed that after the unexplained smile dissipated, he looked at Xu Hua on Bodao’s mobile phone with a faint smile and said:

”Mr. Xu, we are a chip design company, although we used to promote the MTK chip platform.

It is true that you have greatly reduced the price, so that you can purchase 30 million chips, and you have also become the most important buyer of our FIC.

But this does not mean that our MTK chip platform can only be sold to you, which is unreasonable. I believe that no company in the market will make such strong words! ”

”you!”

At this time, Xu Hua’s face was flushed, and he looked at Cai Jie with red eyes!

”You have to do something anyway!”

Although he came here today to vent his emotions, he wanted to take the opportunity to scold these guys severely.

But the main purpose is to solve the various difficulties that Bodao Company is currently encountering. In short, it is to get a lower chip price. This is the purpose of his coming!

Hearing what Xu Hua wanted, Cai Jie, the president of Lianfuke, shook his head and rejected Xu Hua’s purpose:

”Sorry, we have to treat everyone equally. The current price of chips supplied to Bodao Mobile Phone Company is already low enough. Our profit is already meager and it is impossible to continue to reduce our profit.”

At this time, Lianfuke has successfully hooked up with major mobile phone manufacturers in Daxia. This year Lianfuke chips are expected to sell 100 million pieces, and next year it may reach 200 million pieces!

In this case, because the output is large enough and the price is low, the chips of Univac are the best choice and the cheapest choice!

In this case, Lianfuke at this time is equivalent to holding the trump card, because everyone uses cheaper Lianfuke chips.

At this time, the wave island mobile phone has no chip that can’t refuse Lianfuke, because Lianweike’s chip is already the one-stop MTK chip platform with the lowest price in the market.

If Boshima Mobile abandons the Lianfa MTK chip platform, then it will undoubtedly cut itself off from the low-end mobile phone market.

So at this time, Lianweike is in a state of sure victory, this is to become the oriole in the mantis catching cicada, the status of the final winner oriole!

”you…”

Hearing the words of Cai Jie, the president of the Joint Vacuum Division, Xu Hua’s face was filled with infinite anger.

At this time, Xu Hua recalled that many years ago, his cousin Xu Bo had repeatedly suggested that he should strengthen the research and development of the company’s core technology, but he didn’t care about it at that time.

At this time, he deeply realized the consequences of not having core technology, and the pain of inferior status after the core technology chip of the mobile phone is controlled by others.

Because of the optimistic gambler mentality, Bodao mobile phone wanted to beat other mobile phone manufacturers with small profits but high sales.

So Boshima Mobile ordered a 30 million-level order contract in one go to lower the purchase price, and finally killed other mobile phone manufacturers through small profits but quick turnover.

But the sky failed. When Bodao’s mobile phone confidence was inflated, Hantang Technology released the glory generation that people couldn’t refuse.

The result of this is that the cake that originally had 30 million mobile phones was released with the irresistible Han and Tang glory generation.

Then the sales volume of Bodao mobile phone originally planned to be 30 million will inevitably drop to 20 million.

At this time, as other mobile phone manufacturers have announced price cuts, the temptation of Bodao mobile phones is far less than imagined.

This will inevitably tear off hundreds or even tens of millions of sales from the 20 million market!

That is to say, the total sales of Boshima mobile phones may be less than 10 million units by then!

Thinking of this, Xu Hua felt a chill in his heart. Now there is a large order for Bodao mobile phones. This order of 30 million chips is terrible just for liquidated damages.

If the wave island mobile phone does not purchase 30 million chips and other screen and other accessories by then, then the wave island mobile phone will face hundreds of millions of yuan in liquidated damages!

If you add the previous wave of wave island mobile phone expansion and acquisition of other companies, then the total loss of this year’s wave island mobile phone may reach more than one billion yuan!
