Technological Empire Starts From Shanzhai System

Chapter 131: I just want to ask: Is this scientific?
Chapter 131 I just want to ask: Is this scientific?

Seeing this scene, people became even more admirable for Lin Xuan. In one day, the yield rate of 90nm chips doubled to 15%.

It only took one day to create such a miracle. If Zhongxin International wanted to increase the yield rate of 90nm products from 7% to 15%.

I am afraid that the cost of funds will be at least tens of millions, which means that it will take more than 20 or even 30 or 40 times to achieve such a result.

And Lin Xuan gave some improvement suggestions, which directly increased the yield rate of the chip to a terrifying level of 15%.

Having created such a result, Lin Xuan was not arrogant and arrogant, but calm. Seeing Lin Xuan’s appearance at this time, they immediately became more admirable.

”Mr. Lin, thank you very much.”

Professor Chen suddenly came to Lin Xuan, and then bowed deeply, his face full of gratitude.

Lin Xuan’s achievements this day undoubtedly saved Zhongxin International tens of millions of funds and at least two months of trial production time!

It has greatly improved the progress of Zhongxin International’s official mass production of 90nm chips, which is for Zhongxin International who is now in financial distress.

It is no less than getting a lifebuoy when falling into the water, so Professor Chen bowed slowly, deeply grateful to Lin Xuan.

”Professor Chen is too famous, and now it is only 15%. With this good product rate, Zhongxin International’s production is still in a state of loss, and it can turn losses into profits and make money in mass production.”

The mere 15% good product rate is still not up to Lin Xuan’s requirements, and Lin Xuan’s goal is not just 15%.

”Can you continue to improve the yield rate?”

At this moment, Jiang Haizhou, vice president of Zhongxin International, looked at Lin Xuan in shock.

”That’s right, this is just the first step of testing. I’ll go to the production line later and give some suggestions for improvement.”

Looking at Lin Xuan’s faint smile, the scene was instantly shocked!

Lin Xuan can actually increase the yield rate? !

Yesterday, according to Lin Xuan’s request, Zhongxin International made minor modifications to the equipment and improved the process steps.

As a result, it only increased by 7% in one day, so what kind of effect will it be after the second transformation according to what Lin Xuan said?

Thinking of this, people looked at Lin Xuan in amazement, with disbelief written in their eyes!

”Then I will go to work first.”

Amid the shock and horror of the people, Lin Xuan waved his hand at Professor Yang, and was about to look at the production line pretendingly, and then write out various suggestions for improvement.

”OK.”

Facing Lin Xuan’s plan to improve the quality rate, Professor Yang naturally nodded hurriedly.

Originally, he was going to invite Lin Xuan to have a good meal and drink to celebrate, but he didn’t expect that Lin Xuan would not be satisfied with the 15% increase in good product rate.

Actually still want to continue to put forward improvement suggestions today, and continue to increase the yield rate of 90 nanometers.

Under such circumstances, Professor Chen naturally nodded with joy and agreed.

…

Not long after, the reporters learned from Professor Chen who walked out of the factory that Lin Xuan only took one day.

The news that the yield rate of 90nm has increased by 7%, so that the yield rate of 90nm has increased to 15%.

As soon as the news came out, the reporters on the scene were in an uproar!

real or fake?

Lin Xuan gave suggestions for renovation yesterday, but it turned out that only one day passed.

The good product rate of Zhongxin International increased by 7% overnight, reaching 15%. Is this true or false? Is this scientific?

Hundreds of reporters at the scene showed expressions of shock and horror.

But soon, their shock and horror turned into a look of surprise, and at the same time they frantically snapped the cameras in their hands!

That night, major newspapers and Internet media reported in the form of headlines that the good product rate of Zhongxin International had broken through to 15% in just one day!

As soon as the news came out, a fire was ignited by the heat that was about to decline. In an instant, countless people in Daxia stopped their work and carefully read the reports.

When they knew that Lin Xuan had actually made an important contribution to the yield rate of 90nm chips.

In just one day, Zhongxin International’s 90nm chip yield rate increased from 7% to 15%, and they all showed expressions of horror.

real or fake?

So Lin Xuan really has a wealth of knowledge in the electronics industry, and has made a huge contribution to the yield rate of chips in just one day?

At this time, after so many days of media bombardment, people have a little understanding of the yield rate of chips.

Know that the chip actually has thousands of processes, and each process will have an important impact on the final chip yield.

At this time, from Lin Xuan’s shot to the present, it only took one and a half days to increase the yield rate of Zhongxin International’s 90nm chips by 7%, reaching the level of 15%. They were shocked and astonished.

So following the announcement of the news, reporters from all over the country were dispatched!

They are divided into several parts, the most important part is to go to Zhongxin International to wait for the latest news.

The other part is to go to Sichuan Province to interview Hantang Technology, or go to Boning City to interview Xu Hua who had mocked Lin Xuan before.

Or go to Wandao to interview Cai Jie of Lianfuke or TSMC, which is also the overlord of the purchasing agent industry.

It’s just that this time they didn’t know whether it was bad luck or something, no matter which bosses who had ridiculed Lin Xuan before, they couldn’t find any of them, as if they were all hiding.

…

Hantang Technology, at this time Ni Guangnan put down the newspaper in his hand, with a gratified expression in his eyes.

Lin Xuan was actually able to put forward various suggestions for improving the yield rate of the chip, and the effect was not bad. In just one day, the yield rate of Zhongxin International directly doubled to 15%.

At this time, Ni Guangnan has confidence in Lin Xuan’s desire to rely on a one-stop solution to defeat Lianfake and Bodao Mobile!

…

Wandao, Hsinchu Industrial Park, in the CEO’s office of TSMC, the core of the entire Hsinchu Industrial Park.

”Boom boom.”

There was a knock on the office door.

”Come in.”

Chen Damou in    said something softly, and soon, his female secretary came in with a graceful body. At this time, there was a trace of worry on her face:

”Boss, you let me focus on the latest news from Zhongxin International.”

”Ok.”

Chen Damou hummed softly, then took the newspaper handed over by the female secretary and looked down.

”what?!”

The newspaper in Chen Damou’s hand could no longer hold it and fell on the table.

What did he see? !

He saw Zhongxin International, the strongest opponent of TSMC, Zhongxin International, which is currently the fourth largest chip foundry in the world.

Actually increased their 90nm process technology from 7% to 15% yield, and all this only took one day.

”How is this possible?!”

Chen Damou showed a shocked and surprised expression!

Before founding TSMC, Chen Damou worked for Texas Instruments for many years. He is also an entrepreneur who came from the front line.

So he even knows how difficult it is to increase the yield rate of chips. When he led the team to improve the yield rate at Texas Instruments in the US Empire, it was a road of blood and sweat.

At this time, although he founded the TSMC store, he also broke away from the front-line position and became the leader of the TSMC store.

Although TSMC has a top talent named Liang Guoshi, even so, improving the yield rate of chips is a road of blood and sweat.

Now TSMC claims to have mastered the 45nm process technology and achieved mass production of chips, but mastering is mastering.

Although TSMC has mastered the 45nm process technology, the yield rate of 45nm chips is also very worrying, with a yield rate of less than 38%.

They claim to have mastered the 90nm process technology, just like Zhongxin International now, but the actual mass production is indeed a problem.

They are like Zhongxin International, which can’t make money at all by producing 90nm chips, and they lose a lot of production!

If you don’t produce that kind of expensive chips, it will be very difficult to mass produce 45nm chips!

Unless there is a big boss to bear the loss of this improved process to improve the yield rate for TSMC, otherwise the current state of TSMC.

At the earliest, it will not be mass-produced until the end of 2005.

But at this time, Chen Damou didn’t know that he was thinking too much, because according to history, shortly after the new year passed, that is, next year, a high-level incident at the TSMC store would happen!

Because according to history, Chen Damou will resign as CEO in a few months!

Hanging in the air!

According to the history of the previous life, TSMC will carry out a high-level event in which high-level officials compete for power and profit.

Then Liang Guoshi, who is now in charge of improving the yield rate, a great talent in the field of chip manufacturing, will eventually be refrigerated by TSMC because of his superior position, and he will be transferred to a position that has nothing to do with improving the process technology!

As Liang Guoshi was transferred away, TSMC’s 45nm mass production was naturally delayed.

According to history, TSMC finally reached the yield rate of 45nm mass production in 2007.

It can be seen that the high-level incident at TSMC a few months later has a serious impact on the process technology of TSMC, directly delaying the landing of 45nm by nearly 2 years!

And this is not the most serious, because this high-level incident caused Liang Guoshi’s failure in the competition to be the vice president of R&D to be frozen, and Liang Guoshi was also disheartened.

According to history, Liang Guoshihui joined Sanxing Electronics after leaving TSMC in 2009.

After joining Sanxing Electronics, I can only say that Liang Guoshi is worthy of being Liang Guoshi, and he directly made Sanxing Electronics surpass TSMC’s 16nm in terms of process technology!

As soon as the 14nm process technology came out, it directly snatched the chip orders that belonged to TSMC and Apple, which made TSMC gnash its teeth with hatred, and then TSMC bit Liang Guoshi like a mad dog.

Afterwards, Liang Guoshi had no choice but to leave Sanxing Electronics, and finally joined Zhongxin International.

Let Zhongxin International’s 28nm chip yield jump from 3% to 85%! Directly let Zhongxin International take off in place, and then let Zhongxin International’s process technology jump all the way to 14 nanometers.

It can be said that a high-level incident a few months later had a profound impact on TSMC.

It has even had a profound impact on the semiconductor production pattern of the entire world, especially in East Asia.
