Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2498: Chapter 2492: Very Good

”Very well, now start training it, it will learn how to hunt in the future. This is how it should be done. With Xue Ling helping to train it, I’m relieved. Go find them, and don’t come to disturb me.” Qin Xue let Red Snake go play with them, and it seemed that it truly understood, so she didn’t tie it down here anymore.

”Alright, I understand, Master. I’ll go now.” Red Snake also wanted to go play with them. Being confined in this small circle all the time was really frustrating, so when Qin Xue told it to go find them, it was delighted. It didn’t have to stay here anymore, what a relief.

”Go ahead, in the future you can play here however you want, as long as you don’t damage anything inside.” Without Qin Xue’s orders, it couldn’t do anything, because it was trapped by Xue Ling, and even if Red Snake wanted to go somewhere, it couldn’t.

Now, having obtained Qin Xue’s approval, it’s proven that it can expand its activity range, and anyone would prefer having a better situation.

After Red Snake left, Qin Xue went to take a bath, leaning against the pool wall and closing her eyes, she fell asleep. Qin Xue looked at everything in front of her, wondering where she was, as everything seemed so familiar.

”Old man, so much time has passed, we should go back. Waiting here isn’t really a solution.” The old woman looked at the elderly companion in front of her.

”Didn’t the master say that our sincere worship and prayers will allow Qin Xue to be born into a good family? So we need to pray more. Over there, she’ll surely have a loving family.” The old man looked at the Buddha image above, speaking earnestly to his companion.

”But we’ve already prayed for forty-nine days. Qin Xue must have already arrived at a good home. We can go back now. We can’t stay here forever. I believe Qin Xue wouldn’t want us to be like this if she knew. We can come back and offer incense to the Bodhisattva later, praying she has a happy and fulfilling home in her new place, so we can be at ease.” The old woman certainly wanted her granddaughter to be well. That’s why she and her husband had been burning incense and praying sincerely at the temple, hoping the granddaughter can be well over there. That is enough.

The master at the temple indicated the granddaughter had an extraordinary encounter, asking them to sincerely worship Buddha for forty-nine days. After that, the granddaughter would live happily and have a good family, so the elderly couple came to the temple and had been living and eating there for a long time without going home.

The forty-nine days were completed yesterday, they could have gone back today, but they hadn’t returned. Staying longer was to grant the granddaughter more blessings and hopefully more protection.

”Let’s go back. Maybe Qin Xue really found what she wanted; her life will no longer include us from now on, as we are old and incapable of helping her. I wonder if anyone will help her if she suffers grievances?” The old man stood up, sighing, truly at a loss for words. They watched her grow up together, yet she left that way. On the seventh day after her passing, a monk came and told them to sincerely worship Buddha at the temple for forty-nine days, after which she would find her new home and her new life. They skeptically took in what they heard but truly prayed sincerely.

Now, they don’t know if their granddaughter has really arrived at that family. When they asked about it then, the monk didn’t say much and merely told them to remember doing the task well and not to ask further questions. Questioning would not result in any answers. He dismissed them with ”Heaven’s mystery must not be revealed,” and they heard up until here. Regardless of truth or falsehood, they would do it, believing it’s better to trust in than to risk not trusting.
