Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2472: Chapter 2466: So That’s How It Is

The situation started like this: Qin Lei and his wife were discussing their younger daughter. Since they were about to leave, they were worried about letting her stay alone to study, and they had also thought about transferring her to S Province, but didn’t know how best to do it. As the couple was feeling troubled, someone came to call him to receive a telegram.

”Thunder, there’s a telegram for you,” the village chief shouted from outside.

”Brother, who sent the telegram?” Qin Lei was puzzled as he couldn’t figure out who would send a telegram to their home at that time.

”I don’t know either; someone just told you to fetch the telegram. Hurry up, the person is waiting,” the village chief hadn’t asked too many questions, so he didn’t know who it was. Now that Qin Lei asked, he could only tell him to go check, as it wasn’t something delivered directly to him, and he couldn’t see the contents.

”Okay, thank you, Brother Village Chief,” Qin Lei replied. He didn’t go back to inform his wife but directly went to get the telegram. Upon reading it, he laughed; it felt like someone delivered him a pillow when he was drowsy. Now, they didn’t have to worry about their little girl’s studies anymore.

After reading it, the burden on his heart finally lifted, and he felt much lighter. Feeling happy, he went and bought a piece of pork belly, intending to ask his wife to make some braised pork and invite his parents and his elder brother and sister-in-law over for a meal. They would need their help in the future.

”Kids’ dad, why did you buy meat, are you craving it?” Nangong Shulan and the family had been quite busy lately, eating simply but never lacking food.

Seeing her husband buying meat now, she couldn’t figure out the reason and could only think that he might be craving it.

”I’m happy. Qin Xue and Xiao Yu sorted out Lele’s matters, I’m happy and bought meat for you to cook something nice and invite mom and dad over for a meal,” Qin Yu explained the telegram situation to his wife.

”I see, alright then, I’ll make a few more dishes for you guys to have a nice drink,” Nangong Shulan wasn’t upset or forbidding. Now that their daughter’s issue was settled, it was a major concern off their minds, so they should celebrate.

Moreover, at such a time, they were about to head to S Province, and they would have to have this meal sooner or later. Since they were happy now, why not just have a hearty meal together while celebrating.

”Great, you’re the best, wife. Okay, you start cooking, and I’ll go inform mom and dad to avoid my brother’s family cooking their meal,” Qin Lei thought for a moment, handed the meat to his wife, and entrusted her with a task.

”Sure, go ahead. I can manage the household affairs,” Shulan said. The business affairs were now entrusted to Kunmin, with them overseeing, they didn’t have much to say and were relieved to go to S Province. Her husband had even said that the big business was over there, and this place should just be monitored for now. If he could, he would have transferred the store here, but Qin Xue advised against it, believing it will get better over time, so they decided to partner with Cheng Kunmin, providing the premises and tools, while Cheng Kunmin and the others provided labor, and they would share the profits together.

They were willing, so it was satisfactory to both parties. Anyway, everything was set, so that’s how they proceeded.

As for why Qin Lei had such confidence in Cheng Kunmin, it was because they had helped his family a lot over the past year. Seeing the positive changes he made during that time and now having a family, Qin Lei realized that he wasn’t bad at heart and decided to lend him a hand.
