Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2396: Chapter 2390: Don’t Overthink

In situations like this, they need to take good care of the children, giving them a sense of security, rather than letting them worry along with them. Such things Qin Jiale had not experienced before, but now she is shouldering everything for the children like an adult.

”Aunt, I understand, let’s go eat. I want to grow taller, so when mom comes home, she can see that I’ve grown up.” After listening to the aunt’s words, Yu Chen nodded. He was afraid that his parents didn’t want them anymore, but now upon hearing his aunt’s reassurance, he felt his parents were just at work and would be back.

”Let’s go; we should go eat too. They’ll be fine.” Qin Yu patted his nephew’s head; his own heart was too sensitive, and at times like these, he couldn’t say much.

”Okay, uncle, they’ll be back, right?” Yu Ze looked to Qin Yu beside him, eyes full of hope, seeking affirmation.

”Yes, they will definitely be back safely; they still have you guys, they’re sure to protect themselves well.” Qin Yu didn’t know why this discussion with his young nephews was happening, but he was very sure in saying these words.

”Uncle, I believe you.” Before Yu Ze could speak, Cohen spoke first; he too felt something unusual about Chu Molin’s absence.

”Okay, we need to trust ourselves, and also trust your mom and dad, alright?” Qin Yu didn’t want to say more to the children, but these were the words the children longed to hear, and he had to comfort them so that they wouldn’t keep worrying about the departed Qin Xue and Chu Molin.

These children were so mature it was heartbreaking. Such well-behaved kids, while some children cry for milk in their parents’ arms, their kids already knew how to worry about others. It’s hard to know how to face them because their behavior was so unlike that of kids, one felt the need to look at them through adult eyes and interact with them using adult thinking.

And those who left, Qin Xue and the others, had no idea the children felt this way; one wonders how they would react if they knew. Were these truly the children they had brought into the world, or were they just too intelligent?

”Chu Molin, eat this first; I’ll go queue.” Qin Xue saw Chu Molin standing in line without touching his food. Skipping meals won’t do, so she placed the food in front of Chu Molin, urging him to eat because once a habit forms, changing it isn’t easy. Such situations weren’t rare either.

”Keep an eye on things, let him eat, and I’ll go queue up.” Qing Zhu said after quickly finishing her meal.

”Alright.” Qin Xue never insisted only Chu Molin could go. Now seeing Qing Zhu finished her meal, she didn’t persist and let Chu Molin eat first.

Moreover, many times Qin Xue felt Chu Molin wasn’t like a person; how could he remain indifferent to food? Qin Xue wondered whether it was because the meal wasn’t prepared by her, otherwise why didn’t he have any desire to eat?

Qin Xue didn’t know how her sister cooked, but the meal was still quite good. Now they have meals, at least they can eat their fill.

”Give it to me, don’t overthink, I’m not picky.” Chu Molin was just lost in thought earlier, resulting in distraction.
