Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2392: Chapter 2386: After Returning Home

Both the brother and sister knew they couldn’t say this out loud, they just thought they’d see when the time comes. If the school starts and they haven’t returned, they’d have their parents help take care of the kids for a while. After all, when they both go to school, it’s not feasible for no one to look after the children, so it had to be this way.

Now seeing their brother-in-law so anxious, if they were to say anything at this point, who knows how much more anxious he’d get? In this situation, they just needed to agree, because that’s the only way to reassure them.

”Brother-in-law, you and my sister can relax, we’ll take good care of the kids, you can focus on what you need to do, just be careful and safe. With us at home, you don’t need to worry about things here.” Qin Yu was quite steady in his actions, so his words were also meant to reassure Chu Molin. After all, this was not the time for uncertain answers that Chu Molin might not need.

”Okay, Ye Li should also be taking care of Yuran. If he can’t manage, just bring them to our place and help him. Since this situation came up so suddenly, you all need to support each other. We will try to come back as soon as possible.” Chu Molin knew that one person’s stamina is limited, and they could only seize the critical moment to search for and rescue people. If time passes and they can’t find anyone, there’s no hope, and they’re forced to return even if they don’t want to.

”Alright, we understand, brother-in-law. Can you tell me honestly what happened?” Qin Yu motioned for his sister to look after the kids and quietly asked Chu Molin.

”Ye Xuan is in trouble, and we’re going to rescue him. Because all the important people have to go, we can only leave the kids with you, the slightly older kids. It truly is hard on you, and we’re grateful.” Chu Molin knew what kind of person Qin Yu was, so when he asked, Molin told him, knowing he had a similar mindset to his own, so it was fine to say.

”Okay, I understand, I will keep this secret well. I will never speak of it unless you tell me to.” Even though Chu Molin had been talking for so long, he hadn’t told them what had happened, so Qin Yu naturally realized it was something that wasn’t meant to be disclosed. Now that he asked, and his brother-in-law shared with him, he had to keep this secret secure.

”Yeah, because I don’t want others to worry about it too, we’ll go check out the situation and then figure out the next step.” Chu Molin nodded. The fact that his brother-in-law could have this awareness was really admirable.

”Do you need to take anything with you? Go pack. We’ll take care of the children.” Seeing that their conversation had about ended, Qin Yu let his brother-in-law go pack their luggage, as they might need to take some things with them.

”Got it, you guys go eat first, I’ll pack my things. When your sister gets back, just tell her to wait for me.” Originally, Qin Xue had prepared the meal and planned to go to the store and come back to eat. But with this incident happening, she didn’t get to eat. Qin Yu and the others were still hungry, and they couldn’t just not let them eat.

Moreover, Qin Xue should not have done that, making a meal and then leaving before eating. By the time they returned later, the food would be cold and unappetizing, not to mention bad for the stomach. This kind of habit shouldn’t be allowed to form.
