Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2391: Chapter 2385: Important Instructions

”Ye Li, this child is your brother’s child. We have some urgent business to deal with and can’t take her with us right now, so we had to bring her to The Yes. Don’t worry, once I’m back I’ll come and take her home. I promise I won’t leave her behind.” Qing Zhu understood the emotions in Ye Li’s eyes; she knew this child lacked a sense of security and was afraid of being left behind.

”Are you saying this child is my brother’s daughter?” Although Ye Li knew that Qing Zhu and his brother had a daughter, he hadn’t seen her the last time he visited, which was why he was a bit hesitant. Now, hearing Qing Zhu’s words, he finally looked towards Qing Yuran.

”Are you dumb or what? If she weren’t your brother’s child, would we bring her to The Yes? Besides, if it weren’t for something urgent, we wouldn’t leave a child with a half-grown kid like you. Don’t you think so?” Qin Xue hadn’t expected that after talking for so long, they still didn’t realize the child was his brother’s.

”I really didn’t know because I hadn’t seen her before.” Although Ye Li had spoken about such matters with Qin Jiale, it was before he had actually seen the child. Now seeing the child looking so adorable, his heart softened, and he felt a sense of pride.

”Alright, we don’t have time to explain everything in detail to you. Here’s the child’s stuff; it includes some instructions. As for her food, you can give her porridge, but not rice. When bathing, don’t let her jump directly into the water; let her sit in the basin. You can figure out the rest yourself.” Qin Xue placed the luggage inside the house, while Qing Zhu put the child into Ye Li’s arms.

”Ladies, are you leaving just like that?” Ye Li looked at the belongings and the child handed over to him as the two of them left. He really didn’t know what to say; he was in such a daze.

Moreover, this wasn’t something he could handle. Shouldn’t they have explained it to him properly?

But the two people who had walked farther away didn’t have time to say anything else and left directly with the luggage Qing Zhu had packed.

They had something to attend to, and now Ye Li was staring at the child in his arms, feeling like he was holding a hot potato.

”My little niece, you better be good and not cry, okay? Just stay nicely at home with your uncle. Ye Li tried to negotiate with the little one, praying she wouldn’t cry, since it was his first time taking care of a child. If she started crying, he’d be out of options.

Ye Li held the child with one hand and closed the door with the other. Great, two people who barely knew how to live were already struggling at home, and now there was an additional child. Ye Li could already guess what the upcoming life would be like without needing to think much.

Especially in this situation, Ye Li had no idea how to properly take care of her. For someone with no experience in childcare, taking good care of a child was really not easy. It was better to first look at the instructions his sisters-in-law had written.

Ye Li placed the child on the sofa and then opened the luggage bag, carefully reading the notes inside.

Meanwhile, at Chu Molin’s house, Qin Yu and the others weren’t in Ye Li’s flustered situation, because in the village they often saw how others took care of children. So they knew what to do when they saw it.

After listening to their brother-in-law, the siblings had no objections; they could take good care of the kid. Their only concern was if they couldn’t make it back in time for school, then it would be troublesome.
