Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2069: Chapter 2063: Will It Get Better Soon?

Qin Xue was just thinking about the words Ji Yan said, that he believed she wasn’t a bad person, and used this to express the reason she and Ji Yan met.

”It’s nothing, my brother usually just goes to help people look at cattle. Now seeing such a good-looking sister willing to help me see a doctor, he finds it a bit unbelievable.” Ji Yu didn’t hide her doubts too much but directly asked about what puzzled her.

”There’s nothing much to it. Sometimes the things about fate are hard to explain. The fated connections between people are just that strange.” Qin Xue didn’t think there was anything special about it, rather, she thought that this was just a brief encounter between passersby in life.

Just like Qin Xue said, the fated connections between people are very mysterious, so later on, even Qin Xue herself overturned her own words.

”Alright, sister, is my sickness curable?” Ji Yu didn’t dwell on what Qin Xue said anymore. As long as she had no ill intentions, that was good. This way, she didn’t have to worry about her brother being deceived.

”This is just a common illness; you’ll be fine, don’t worry.” Qin Xue looked at Ji Yu’s appearance and guessed correctly. Just by looking at her, she could tell she’d had a fever for a long time, otherwise her lips wouldn’t be chapped.

”Really? That’s great.” Hearing that what she had wasn’t terminal, Ji Yu was so excited her eyes turned red. It was great that she didn’t have to die.

”Yes, really.” Qin Xue nodded, thinking in her heart about how best to treat this illness.

She wasn’t sure if they sold transdermal ointment here, but she could prescribe another type of medicine for them to boil with water for washing. The effect was similar, but without Pudilan antiphlogistic oral liquid, it seemed she had to prepare herbal medicine instead. Luckily, she had studied both Western and Chinese medicine, otherwise, she really wouldn’t know what to do. Moreover, Ji Yu only had common smallpox, not the severe kind.

Otherwise, Qin Xue would really be crying. In this era, many medicines were in short supply, some antibiotics were even unavailable, so what she could do was prescribe anti-inflammatory medicine and remind them to stay hygienic. Only in this way could the bacteria be eliminated early, and Ji Yu could recover quickly.

”Sister, my little sister, will she be alright?” When Ji Yan came in with a bowl of water and saw Qin Xue examining his sister’s blisters, he quietly stood to the side and waited.

”The issue isn’t serious.” After checking, Qin Xue had a clear idea in her mind.

”Does that mean I can get better soon?” Ji Yu still wanted to know if she could recover quickly.

”That depends on your own resistance. I can only prescribe and treat, but I can’t guarantee how many days it will take for you to fully recover. However, I can roughly estimate that it will be a few days if you do as I say. Otherwise, even if I say it, it’s pointless, do you understand?” Qin Xue stood up, looking at the siblings.

”Sister, we’ll do everything we can.” As soon as Qin Xue finished speaking, the siblings responded.

”Alright then, you take care of your little sister first. I’ll go out and think about the best medication to prescribe.” Qin Xue had American ginseng and such herbs in her space, but how could she take them out for use now?

Qin Xue couldn’t just take out handfuls of herbs from her bag and give them to Ji Yan, especially fresh ones. That would surely raise suspicion.

She still needed to think about how to help them without making it seem abrupt.
